I once had an incredible mechanic. He was honest, super-knowledgeable and skilled, and very conscientious about doing things the right way, thinking of your safety, finding the best and most affordable solutions, explaining everything and giving you options, and very fair and reasonable in pricing. He eventually moved away and sold his shop. I thought, "Well i guess i'll never find another mechanic like that again." But guess what – I was wrong! Because that also describes the way things work at Zeli Automotive. When I was looking for a new mechanic, I tried a few places but often felt they overcharged or recommended more work than was needed. Then in 2018, I was very fortunate to hear about Zeli Automotive from my neighbour, who highly recommended them, and said it was the only shop where they and all their family members would take their vehicles. I have been going there ever since, for 5 years now, to my complete satisfaction. Owner Fatlum Zeli and his team of skilled mechanics have many years of experience with problem-solving and carrying out dependable repairs. Everything is done with Fatlum’s basic way of operating: integrity. This garage has all the attributes I could hope for. Fatlum is upfront and genuine, very courteous and pleasant to deal with, always willing to help, always does his best to fit you in, to explain things to you, show you a worn part, advise on how urgent or not the repair is, and what the options are. And ready to go above and beyond to get you back on the road as quickly as possible. It's always a drag to have a problem come up with your vehicle, but at some point it's inevitable, especially with an older car like mine. Knowing that you can entrust the work to a garage where you will get the best job possible and be charged fairly, removes a HUGE amount of stress from repairs and servicing. To sum up – high quality skilled workmanship which they stand behind, fair pricing, ethical, courteous and considerate. (and a comfortable waiting area).

There are three things that you want in a mechanic - expertise, integrity and fair pricing. Zeli Auto has them in spades. Hands down, they are the best mechanic I've ever had. Zeli Auto kept my 2002 Audi TT on the road and driving beautifully until 2020. If I hadn't been in Vancouver when the cluster died for the 3rd time (Audi is notorious for faulty clusters) I would have brought it to Zeli for repair and I would still be driving my TT today. Zeli Auto takes care of every facet of maintenance and repair but more importantly they have the knowledge and experience for the big jobs, like replacing the engine in my brother's Dodge Journey and the transmission on my friend's Mercedes. I've recommended Zeli Auto to many friends and all of my family. Every single one of them who took their vehicle to Zeli Auto is a customer today. Sometimes it feels like a family & friends reunion when it comes time to get the snow tires on. They have a great crew of experienced, hard-working mechanics who will take the time to tell you what's wrong with your vehicle, what exactly needs to be done, and if there's a work around or a cost-savings to be had. They will never steer you toward getting work done on your car that you don't need, unlike other shops. You can also trust them to use quality parts from the original manufacturer and you can trust their quotes. As a woman, it can sometimes be intimidating to take your car to the shop but the crew at Zeli Auto have always made me feel welcomed, respected and listened to. I can't say enough good things about Zeli, as you can tell!

Professional, knowledgeable and very trustworthy auto repair. This owner-operated shop is by far the best place to bring your high-end and foreign auto for no-nonsence quotes and repairs. Zeli's has a customer-first service policy, always finds/resolves issues to my satisfaction and has honest and fair prices. Fatlum and his mechanics diagnose issues properly and honestly. I trust them, they have integrity. This is important to me when I deal with mechanic shops. They do the work right and in good time.
