WE LOVE THIS PLACE, which is INSIDE A TAVERN... We were pleasantly surprised to dine inside A TAVERN, A PUB, A PLACE where drinking alcohol/ beer/ hard liquor is the main feature. My sister was most excited, thrilled by the UPSCALE, COSY, WARM, FRIENDLY, BRITISH vibe inside the Tarven. ... The Chicken is above average. The massive tray of NACHOS (vegetarian- with GUACAMOLE instead of MEAT),CAN$ 20, was the BEST NACHOS I have ever eaten... I ate more than half of that massive tray, I think! .... We enjoyed the APPLE JUICE (no alcohol) and somehow, the kid and the sister found the JUICE so incredibly good. I suspect their DELIGHT, their THRILL to dine inside this wonderful Tavern had something to do with THAT. ... The staff is amazing, they were probably equally thrilled to see us so in awe of the experience. WE WILL come back here again, in the near future.... SO LONG CANADA... SO LONG the wonderful CANADIAN ... WE LOVE YOU

I went there Thursday night. I ordered my food. I was told it will be ready in 30 mins. I got there at the 35 mins mark paid and was told it will be just a few mins . After 15 mins of waiting i asked how long my food will be and was told it was being packed up. After another 5 I told them I had to leave (wife in car with kids ) and was told it was just coming . I waited a few more and just asked for my money back. It took them a few minutes and the manager came out and got me money but asked me to wait just a few more minutes and would bring the food to my car complimentary. I said fair enough. I left a very decent tip on the counter and waited out front where. No body brought the food . I went back in and the girl said we looked for and couldn’t find you . She went to see where my food was and never came back. I left grab my tip that was still in the counter and left . This place is ridiculous. Nothing more to say.

So I have ordered from yellow belly before and it was really good but the last two orders have just got progressively worse. Ordering 2 sandwiches for $60 dollars (off Uber) I expect more than provided. After asking to upgrade our fries to Cajun fries and an extra $5 dollar charge, the fries came tasting like cardboard and hardly any fries had seasoning. I asked for my grandfather chicken sandwich to be tossed in the spicy aioli sauce but, seems they just put some sauce on the top of the bun. There was things missing from the order and just for the price it was definitely not worth it. Yes the chicken was good and the portions are big but seeing as I only had a couple fries, the big portions means nothing. Like I said when we first got yellow belly chicken when they first opened it was amazing, unfortunately not so much anymore which I find when places get busy and well known. Will not order again.

Probably the best fried chicken burger I’ve ever had! The burger was spicy (special request the server was willing to make) and was HUGE! I didn’t even finish my burger due to its colossal size! This restaurant is a “ghost kitchen” and located inside an already established, relatively busy restaurant. The only downside I would say is that the restaurant can be quite noisy, making it hard to talk. The service itself was great, the server was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. I will definitely be back, but will likely visit during off-peak hours.

Ultra disappointing. Ordered 2 chicken sandwiches and it was pretty bad. First, the slaw tasted extremely weird and had a pungent taste which completely dominated over the sandwich ( i love slaw) rendering it almost unedible. The fries tasted like they were refried a million times, to the point I was drinking the oil outta them every bite. The sandwhich (outside of the gross slaw) was uninspiring and soulless and lacked flavor. Some basic items were missing from my order. I wanted to like this place but will not repeat. I was starving and didn't finish my food.

The first time we tried it when it first opened it was a 10. And I don’t even like chicken that much. It was the best chicken I have ever had. I had to take away one star because after we tried it again recently, it was 8/10. Nothing bad, but it changed a bit and it wasn’t a 10 anymore. I didn’t like the fries or the waffle bun (too eggy). I also felt the chicken was not as scrumptious as the first time, it had a taste to it. I might give it another try later and update. I would like them to stay around and make their 10/10 chicken!

Had a wonderful experience here, came in looking for the fried chicken sandwiches with a friend, which is strictly online orders only; however, the owner was extremely courteous and allowed us to order anyway. The Kill Bill was massive, had a Korean BBQ sauce and loaded with spicy Kimchi. The only thing I'd change is the chicken was a little too crispy and maybe a little less sauce.

I've had a lot of great chicken sandwiches, but this place is something else. I don't think I've ever had a piece of fried chicken that's nearly twice the size of the bun before. The waffle sandwich was probably my favorite, and also the easiest to actually eat as the waffles held the weight of the chicken and toppings much better. My only knock would be the order time. It took over an hour to make, so if you're in a hurry this might not be the place for you.

Has to be one of the best fried chicken sandwiches iv ever had. The long order / delivery time was worth it. ( assuming faster in restaurant). The 2 pieces for the sandwich ended up the size of my head! Nice and crispy, peppered well. The Cajun honey sauce was perfect with it, the fries weren't bad either. And that was take out! Can't imagine how much better it would be fresh in store! Highly recommend

Waited quite a bit for the food but honestly every minute was worth the wait! It was shockingly busy for a Thursday night, definitely was not expecting that. Had the kill Bill burger alongside a beer that was recommended by the staff and it was one of the best I’ve had! Would recommend it and will definitely come back!

The BEST chicken sandwiches!!! Have gotten takeout a few times already and the quality and taste is always fantastic. Chicken is crisp, moist and huge. Buns are fantastic and don’t get soggy easily. Fries and fresh and well-seasoned. Onion rings are delicious as well. For takeout, make sure to open up the boxes so the steam doesn’t make the food soggy. Definitely a go-to place when I’m craving.

Probably one of the best chicken sandwiches I have ever had. The fries were horrible I had heard the fries here were great hut these seemed to have been refried a few times not very good at all. 45 min wait to get my order was way to long not sure if I would go back

One of the best chicken experiences I have ever had. We ordered the szechuan sinner and the chicken tenders with fries and gravy for pick up through skip the dishes. The food was ready on time, packaged well and still hot when I got home 15 minutes after pickup. The batter is crispy and has great flavour, the fries were handcut and delicious. Will definitely visit again!

Omgoodness. I've only heard good things about this place and since I was in the area, I needed to try. Definitely an amazing crunchy chicken sandwich. Husband loves the fries and was happy to see pepper on them. I can't wait to be back in the area to try a different sandwich (Tried the Marty McMayo)

Went there with a friend and we were really looking forward to it. Several issues though. The chicken was really under seasoned. I asked for it to be tossed in sauce but all they did was put some sauce on top of the chicken and didn't actually coat the chicken. The fact they charge 3 bucks for a tiny container of gravy that wasn't even filled up.

STOP. You’ve found the only place to order a fried chicken sandwich. You’re also going to order the mac & cheese and you won’t be disappointed by the wings either. Save room for Yellow Belly or you may get full before you even get to the bun of your sandwich. This place actually gives you what their food looks like in photos.

If you're craving fried chicken...look no further! I found Yellow Belly Chicken while browsing through Skip the Dishes and Uber Eats. Ordered the Angry Bird and Waffle Cute, and they were both delicious! Delivery was on time and chicken was still crispy when it arrived. Can't wait to try the other items on the menu next time!

Wow truly worth the hype had the taco's, the godfather, and the mac and cheese with chicken bites which was kind of basic but big portions and the flavor is so phenomenal presentation is on point too just forgot the cutlery and napkins!

Seriously good! Ordered twice in a 3 night span and our family has a "rule" of only ordering in once a week. It was that good. Collectively we've had 4 different sandwhiches, wings, fingers and coleslaw. Everything is 5 stars. In addition to the quality of flavour, texture etc..the portions are huge.

This place makes the best mac n cheese with chicken bites. I've ordered this a bunch of times through ubereats and it's a 10 out of 5 stars every time. You can see the care that goes into every meal. It's consistently awesome. Can't wait to try in person. Says a lot about the staff there.

The Mother Clucker chicken sandwich was tasty enough ( considering it was a takeout order) but the fries weren't cooked at all. Some were soggy, many of them were raw.

Tried this place for the first time yesterday. The burger and the mac and cheese were GREAT. However, the fries portion served with the burger was ridiculously small, especially for the price you pay. It was a joke. They need to triple the portion.

Pretty tasty specialty fried chicken place! Quality food at fair prices. Just a note, that pick up orders are found IN the King’s Arm pub (i.e. there’s no obvious Yellow Belly Chicken sign).

I just ate the gladiator chicken sandwich and it was perfectly cooked, not dry at all and was really good and a big portion, and the macaroni is really good too.

We ordered the Mother Clucker and Bourbon Club sandwiches. We loved it. Massive juicy peice of chicken, with decadent toppings. Will definitely order again.
