Always dirty, dusty. Food tables are ok. Just ok. Outside got better slightly. Kids cars are revolting always dusty greasy and dirty. They have cleaners they should clean at night. Toilets gross. Place always stinks of outside smoke drift. Kids playground is right next to fumes of car park and they don't have a height restriction and big kids come running through there. Also never enough seats near the playground so parents stand for 1-2 hours. Indoor Playground is relatively clean, which is not really a bonus because the location of this playground is right next to automatic doors that open and shut constantly to a very busy car park (with exit car pathway right outside the doors). Kids playing there are constantly exposed to car fumes coming in. I can smell them all the time because I walk to back to check on my son and the fumes smell is strong. Hornsby Westfield appears to have a terrible lack of interest in the health of it's visitors. It seems they have hardly a thought to hygiene and health. Sick of it. Literally at times. They want people to shop there for Christmas. I go to Chatswood for Christmas shopping and big shops because it is simply more pleasant. Also, I have never seen security there ever. I called them once because there was a hole in kids play ground and kid fell through (in front of my eyes) I called them they took over 10 min down. What if I had to go urgently. With security, you actually have to call a mobile to get them and they did not pick up, so I called concierge and got out on hold. Really glad there was not a really urgent matter like someone being assualted. Security should be more and you should actually know they are there, see them there wandering and know there presence. Also, just so that smokers don't feel they can smoke outside the mall. People do whatever they want ther it seems. Don't feel safe really now going there. I have asked concierge many times about passing on messege about this. Never any feedback.

I went into Hornsby Westfield Ladies Toilet that was on the Food Court Level. It was an absolute disgrace! The areas were dirty with boxes of food half eaten left on the floor, Toilet Paper left on floor & everything looked grotty!! Instead of the Cleaners having a good chat as I have often noticed, it might be better if they did some work. If there are not enough people to keep the place clean, employ some more. I then went downstairs to Kmart. The floor was dirty, black marks , grot & fluff from the Winter Garments was found. The Store needs more Staff, & they need to look more presentable. A Kmart Shirt with a Name Badge would be nice & hair & Beards in particular should be neatly groomed. We might live "Like it doesn't really matter,"in certain instances these days but actually it really does!! The lovely Lady at the front door of the Store who checks Bags is always nice & looks very neat & well groomed. She appears to be of Asian appearance, black hair & goes to the trouble if wearing Makeup. The Manager needs to engage with the Staff & do a tidy up all the way around. Do hope that things improve. Regards.

This shopping centre has it all from deli to cafes, Woolies, Aldi and Coles, restaurants, pharmacies and fashion stores... And DAISO is coming soon!!! That really completes the shopping centre along with TK Max on this part of northen Sydney. What is sad to see is as some shops close down (after effects of COVID-19?) more hair and nail salons are opening.... Another thing I don't like about this place is greed. Every possible square inch of what should be an open space for walking is rented out to businesses, and at times this practice look like it can cause some serious safety issues if and when a large number of people have to evacuate in case of emergency. Digital signs are placed in what seems to be random inconvenient locations blocking the pathways. When a new shop is under construction, the boarded up walls stick out so much causing the walk path to be really cramped. The management should be leaving plenty of space for two carts and their companions to pass comfortably at any given time for a pleasant shopping experience!

The ongoing works to "improve" parking are a nightmare. The main entrance has had its number of ticket machines reduced to 1 from 3. This means that it rapidly chokes and traffic backs up onto busy Peats Ferry Road. The ticket machines at the same exit have been reduced from 3 to 2 resulting in long queues to exit. Each parking level is painted a colour to help identify it. On level 3 at least, they decided to paint almost everything a garish pink. There's almost nothing that isn't pink. It's a stimulus overload like a Liberace and Elton John inspired nightmare. Since coming under new ownership, maintenance has clearly deteriorated. My personal experience is that it is rare to visit and not encounter escalators and/or elevators out of order. It's reached the point where you have to scout your route and plan detours if shopping with a trolley. It's really become a case of shopping there if you absolutely have to. Thankfully there are other options nearby when it comes to supermarket shopping.

Well, it does take a little getting used to. For example, about 3 weeks ago I purchased a mobile phone case, and I took 3 attempts of circular navigating to find my way out of the shopping centre. You can regard me in any way you like. But the confusion lies in the fact that the Westfield Centre is divided into 2 main sections, and these are separated by a main thoroughfare ( or street ) below. Actually the same problem happened to me about a year ago, in the same place. I am not exactly a regular at Hornsby, but I enjoy going there for a change from the city centre. When I did get lost in the centre it was very embarrassing and I was wishing like hell no one would come up to me and ask me if I was okay. Actually, I was fuming because I felt that I had just been ripped off for the purchase of the mobile phone case. Well enjoy shopping people and I will try and abstain. Sincerely, Thomas Stevens.

Westfield Hornsby is a sprawling and well-organised shopping mall. The layout is optimised for pedestrian access, with well-designed walkways and corridors that mean you don't have to take arduous circuitous routes to get where you want to go. For example, in one part of the mall, there is a corridor allowing the restrooms to be accessed from both sides of the building. The information directories are situated at sensible locations, and the foot bridge to and from the train station means you don't have to wait at the lights to cross George Street. If you're travelling by car, there is heaps of parking in various locations, and the fees are reasonably priced. I particularly like the Hornsby Water Clock, a huge, kinetic water sculpture entitled Man, Time and the Environment. It adds an artistic and slightly magical steampunk vibe that makes me smile every time I see it.

Westfield Hornsby is an amazingly bustling, packed with positivity, shopping centre. As we all know, Westfield in general is an extraordinary choice for going shopping. From K-Mart to Coles to Lovisa and TerryWhite Chemmart, Westfield Hornsby in particular is easy to access, has many great sales, discounts, places for coupons, grocery markets or beauty salons and opportunities to do things like get your ears pierced, perm your hair, do your nails, buy things at incredible prices, etc. Guess what? Parking is an awesome thing too — there are so many places to park your car during the rain, and you get three free hours of parking — amazing — and if you’re a member, four free ones! Now there’s also ten dollars Early Bird Parking access! In conclusion, from JB-HIFI to David Jones to TKMAX and SkinKandy, Westfield Hornsby is your most ideal, busy shopping centre!

Poor handicapped accessibility, unhelpful signage. Taking my dad around in a wheelchair we found lifts broken, so I've checked repeatedly on my own since then, and it seems to be a pattern over the time I've been looking, 2020 to 2023, poor attention to lift repair. And no, pushing someone upwards in a wheelchair on a travelator is too difficult; the rapid movement means that I can't lock the brakes fast enough (we ran over the foot of someone who tried to help!). Wheelchair parking spots are apparently not patrolled, so cars parked there often are not displaying permits and all the spaces are full. The place is like a maze with direction signs for stores, but much less so for useful landmarks such as the central fountain or the railway station. I'd rather shop just about anywhere else.

  • Mel Jo

It is very close to my home so it feels like a part of home. We have shops changes every year, but seems the new opened shops are more trendy and more fit into the local life style. It is where everyone go to during the weekend and since it is the biggest one in Upper North Shore, people in surrounding suburbs are also attracted to it. I am very happy we finally have Daiso and restaurants like Betty's Burger come in to boost the energy of the community. Can't wait to see what lies in the future of this very loved centre. The area is rapidly growing and become very popular among young families as well as seniors who are looking for a simple life style.

  • leokimvideo

Really sad to see a few rogue retailers in this Westfield selling clone and knockoff products. You go to Westfield for a brand shopping experience, not a bottom dollar trash experience with inferior illegal products. The pop up shops seem to be the main offenders but they are not the only ones. On hot humid Summer days for some reason Westfield Hornsby no longer want a cool environment inside. It’s cooler standing beside the Water Clock Fountain. Westfield please lift your game please, people and retailers are paying for a premium shopping experience. Not a overhyped sweat box on a hot day Review now downgraded due to the chronic lack of aircon.

A nice and clean shopping mall. It is clean and not usually very busy except weekends i.e. Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Though the variety of stores is limited so most of the stores may suit people of age between 30-50. Youth clothing or shopping places are limited. Food court has some really interesting eating places as well as the mall includes some high end gourmet & all-round cuisine dining places. Every thursday the mall hosts stall shopping where different local/small-time vendors puts up their stalls and sell various items. Also the mall has playing places for kids where entry is free only under supervision of a parent/guardian.

  • ali salmani

Hi everyone Just let you know parking in Westfield has problem and its position charge you extra ! My experience: On 8th of may I park my car In parking and as member of Westfield it was free for 4 hrs , I parked for 4:35Hrs and when used machine to do the payment, charge me 25$ for extra 35 minutes! I informed relevant parking stuff and they helped to fixed it but still sending email and follow up by me and maybe need go to Westfield ( waste time)to fix extra payment. Just share store to let other know about issues and make sure no one else charge unfair! My rate is only for parking and other part of Westfield is excellent

  • Deanna Nicholas

The Hornsby Westfield has two parts in it and it gets confusing to find the parking but otherwise it has a good variety of shops ,when I visited I had a few dumplings from the food court, the food wasn't that warm but I ate it anyway and they were so yummy and they had $1 tea which was good as well !. The clock outside is really cool as well but unfortunately on that day I found somebody's keys in the parking lot floor which was smashed to pieces so hopefully they went home okay despite having their keys broken really bad. Otherwise it's a good Westfield and I would go again to explore more.

  • Alex Holder

Minus a star for the foodcourt shutting so early. Saturday night movies are hard to do when there's no food after 6pm! Minus a star for the lack of security in the centre. Maybe this is a Hornsby suburb problem and not a Westfield Hornsby problem, but I don't want strangers approaching me asking for money or cigarettes. I sure as hell don't want those same people doing laps of the foodcourt and asking me four times in 40 minutes. Remaining stars for: good variety of shops, good quality cinemas, good location, great centre design (incl. exterior, nice pedestrian areas).

  • Abigail Wong

This is a large shopping centre with basically everything you need for every day living. There is a cinema, Aldi, Woolworths, Coles, Target etc. The library is right next to it, with around 30 secs walk, public transport just across the bridge (3mins walk). It is fairly large, but there are many screens around that can lead you to where you need to go. It can get quite crowded in the car park sometimes, but it is still really big. The food court has a wide range of foods, many costing a low price and the toilets are kept very clean.

  • Moony Dee

Came here during the long weekend holidays and found there to be plenty of parking. The entry driveway/ramp into the place is a bit tight though if you’re driving a long vehicle like a dodge ram. Within the Westfields, you’ll find plenty of the common retail shops you expect of a Westfields. In terms of sizing, it’s not the largest one. However it is located very close to the train station so getting here via public transport is easier than other places.

  • Joydip Sinha

Westfield Hornsby is a large indoor/outdoor shopping centre in the suburb of Hornsby on the Upper North Shore of Sydney. Westfield Hornsby has 99,550m² of floor space. The major retailers include David Jones, TK Maxx, Kmart, Target, Aldi, Coles, Woolworths, Uniqlo, Apple, Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, Rebel, Fitness First, Timezone and Event Cinemas. Ample parking space and good accessibility using public bus transport and Sydney trains Hornsby station.

  • Rooftop Escape campers

This has got to be one of the top shopping locations in Sydney region has a huge range of shops press over multiple levels . There is plenty of parking and the first 3 hours are “free “. The Hornsby mall has some fantastic food on ground level and below. There is 4 levels of above ground shopping hear and a basement level so you will be well shopped out time you leave. You can catch the train from Sydney central, it stops within the mall area .

  • Ken Lee

Westfield Hornsby is a couple of minutes walk from Hornsby Station. It's a fairly big shopping centre and it's difficult to say what major stores it doesn't have. I don't think it has a Big W, but Kmart and Target are there as well as Woolworths, Coles and Aldi. There's plenty of parking. I usually park near the Kmart end. Also it appears that the Water Fountain Clock has now been repaired and is functioning.

  • B Michael

Big problem with shopping trolleys! Park my car and came back to find trolleys left next to it! Centre management needs to stop this problem and I will not return until they have sorted it once and for all. Trolleys should have coin system implemented or security should hand out fines for people who don't return them to the designated bays. I don't want my car scratched by a trolley from some selfish person.

  • Yolanda Reyes

Whoa huge Westfield Mall @Hornsby lots of popular stores like JB Hifi, Target, Kmart, Aldi, Coles, Warehouse Chemist and lots to mention, close to all transports, amenities like Post Office, council, telecommunications, medical & dental centres, court house, police station, swimming pools, cinemas, accommodations, restaurants and all that....highly recommended

  • Ryan Withers

My experience at Westfield Hornsby was average. The shopping center offers a variety of stores, but the overall atmosphere felt somewhat crowded, and navigating through the layout wasn't as seamless as I'd hoped. Additionally, parking was a bit of a challenge. While it's a decent option for shopping, it falls short in terms of convenience and a more relaxed shopping environment.

  • Caroline Tyler

Absolutely disgraceful! The elevators, Travelator and escalators are always broken. This morning, people with trolleys were queueing up 10 deep waiting for the one lift that was operating. Both travelator‘s were broken on level two and one on level four. I feel for the elderly or those with mobility issues. This seems to happen on a weekly basis, time to upgrade Westfield!

  • John Husen

Visit today, 1st time since moved to The Hills few years back. Good to see shopers are coming back after Covid 19 pandemic & some lovely new shop in food court such as Lanzhou noodle. Malatang. etc. However, my old time favour Wok King is not as good as before, food taste not the same and looks a bit out & old. Need to do some refreshing ASAP.

  • Ben Drury

Compared to other Westfield Shopping Centres, I find Hornsby is easier to deal with the crowds, as the separate parts of the centre can be accessed without going outside. Ample undercover parking is available, including express parking, and there is the option of the train station less than 5 mins walk away. Lots of great restaurants too.

  • Maud Moreau (M)

Westfield Hornsby had gradually dropped their standards more and more. If you like nail salons, barbers, chemists and $2 dollar shops, then this is for you. If you want quality shops and choice... keep driving to Macquarie or Chatswood! There are some decent stores in Hornsby but not many... time to wake up Westfield Hornsby!

  • Josie Jagers

Food court cleaners standing around on their phone for 20 minutes while the place is very dirty . And do we really need to listen to their radios on full volume as they're collecting trolleys? Where is Zac? Place was so clean when Zac was here. Bring him back.. Big loss for us when he went. on the up seating areas look good.

  • Peter Agamalis

It has all the major stores that you could want or looking for. Quite a broad variety of outlets and not a bad food court either. It is a bit of a maze and you'll find that part of the centre is also built underground, which is synonymous with shopping centres in Asia. It'll give your step count a good work out.

  • Quentin Rankmore

I like it as it's close to everything I need. Extensive range of shops and nothing is missing. Lots of food options for every taste inside and several outside. Always seems to kept clean. Close to public transport. Large carpark. Pub at the rear. Plenty of public conveniences. They got it right ✅️ at this place.

  • MC K

Hornsby Seafood Shop is terrible, and selling stinky Sashimi Salmon They often sell stinky Sashimi Salmon. Andrew, a shop manager, is terrible customer service. When I returned stinky Sashimi Salmon, Andrew didn't apologize and he said to me not to come to shop again. Please open another Seafood shop.

  • eustacia douglas

Well.... it is quite expansive like an octopus, many arms all leading onto an outside meeting place which the water fountain beckons. One needs to be aware of your parking area depending on which street entrance. Same shops you would find in all Westfield centres with several additions like TK Max.

  • Rayson Wiggill

Large mall that has taken over some near by buildings so enjoy the walk around the levels just don't be surprised if you come out on a very different street from the one that you entered in. Most all the big name retailers. Loads of parking now extended to 4hr free if you have the parking app.

  • Pallab Ganai

Nice shopping mall which serves daily needs as well as a place to hangout. There are good cafes for meet and greet. Woolworths, coles, aldi are available under one roof. For apple fan boys there is an apple store. Target, david jones available. Big W, myre missing. Food court could be better.

  • Tanya Rudge

Shops always closing, lifts and escalators always out, on leaving have been charged four times after only being there well under three hours, I now shop elsewhere and go to Hornsby only if I have to, not a nice place for a shopping experience. Staff in shops are very nice and helpful

  • David Bacic

Hornsby westfield helped me by telling me about a shop what i needed to know about . The shopping cebtre at hornsby is a very good shopping centre . I would tell everyone to shop and go to hornsby westfield shopping centre . There is alot of good shops for everyone .

  • Kaya Marcs

Love Hornsby Westfield!!! Got almost every shop. Great coffee shops, easy to park, my favourite shop is Bed Bath& Table. Great to have Apple. DJ, Myer, Target, Kmart, Nrma, Event Cinemas , Aldi, Woolworths, Coles...really we are spoilt for choice. LOVE it!!

  • Lisa Foronzo

Got charged $30 for 2.5 hour’s parking. Had to pay as cars were behind me. I phoned today to check parking prices and apparently it’s 3 hours for free? The lady from customer service was very helpful though when I called so hopefully I will get my refund.

  • Sze Mei NG

Typical design of Westfield shopping mall. Lage. There are different kinds of shops - a cinema, supermarkets, a bank, boutiques, cafes, a food court. You can get essentials, food, beauty, and entertainment. It's a good place to hang out.

  • Ashleigh

The shops that are here lack options, just a lot of clothing shops for older women and groceries. There is barely anywhere for young people to shop here, so it's pushing the younger people to Macquarie or Chatswood to shop for clothes.

  • MD TANVIR HOSSAIN

Its a large shopping center with almost every kinda shop u can imagine, The clock fountain in d center is amazing. There is shop finder LED Display on every floor. Plenty of parking space. Its very well-maintained with all amenities.

  • Kristine S

Good choices for shopping - supermarkets x 3! Myer, David Jones, many other specialty clothing, tea, decorating shops. Excellent "outdoor" but covered restaurants... MARKETS Thursdays! Open central area has distinctive fountain...

  • Deb Cattell

Great convenient location, plenty of stores but the parking spaces are very narrow and a bit dangerous to get out of as we saw first hand when someone in front of us backed out and another car backed out into first car. Not good.

  • Michell Tateoka

Great mall, lots of food options in the food court. Parking is a little wonky. Great place for afternoon tea. I like the frozen yogurt and boba tea places. The police officers who patrol around here are super friendly and nice.

  • XY V Fan

I like this Westfield plenty of parking and the food court has many different choices. I will give 5 start if they can have bigger and better kids and baby play area. At the moment there is just one closed play area near ALDI.

  • THE GREAT ONE HULIO

So very happy Westfield Hornsby held a Pride Fair. Please keep supporting events like this. The outdoor screen and family space was fantastic. It would be great to see more similar events. We needed more advertising though!

  • Jajaval Nakhakes

All in this place onestop shopping center of the community just 2-4minutes walk from train station. It has 2 wings of buildings , fresh supermarket on the left. The right is shopping mall and various national restaurants.

  • Cheryl Mathews

Coles and Kmart are open late, and the food court has a great variety of choices, including McDonald's, KFC, and Sushi Hub. The parking is free for 3 hours too. There's Event cinemas on the top level as well …

  • Nadia Fedorenko

Big with lots of varieties of stores and eateries. Update 28 July 2023 - still love this shopping plaza it has a great shops great eateries right next to the train station there's nothing not to like.

  • Matthew White

Gone of the days of the good old friendly westfields it's too big now and there seems to be a lot of wasted space I don't know how this place stays in operation and especially for the shopkeepers

  • Dhara Shantilal Jain

I like shopping here as I visit for fresh groceries to this place weekly. Ample options to eat, kid friendly, free parking for 2 hrs. on weekdays. Fresh Markets on Thursdays mornings are awesome.

  • Brandon Raymond

Great westfield, it's better than my local central coast westfield, it's bigger and has more options, it also has all the places I usually go to when I'm in the city like Daiso and bread top.

  • Sudha

The mall has a different vibe all together. Nice open space to hangout, multiple brands to shop. Event cinemas for movie. Located very next to station, just few steps walk to Westfield.

  • Paqui Camus

Nice coffee and chicken rolls. Strolling around and seeing so many people@ What I have enjoyed the most is the Hornsby Library. An incredible list of books titles and facilities.

  • Pranita Sambhus

Very convenient mall. You will get everything you need generally. Clothes, groceries, cafes, pet shops, banks etc Perfect place to hang out with friends, kids, mom's groups etc.

  • Bhakti S

Too many shops opening and closing constantly. It does have all the shops I need for my regular groceries and also the ones I shop from regularly. Parking can be very confusing

  • Marcus Versace

Enjoyed a great day at the Sept 3rd car show and great to see Westfields supporting the local community, families and local charities - an excellent event and day

  • Wil Somewan

It would be if just for once, the escalators and elevators would all be working. There hasn't been a single week in the past 2 years where all of them are working

  • Fereshteh Rahbari

I visited this location for the Persian new year festival that was held by Yarra Foundation. All proceeds went to children affected by the earthquake in Iran.

  • Eli Radchenko

It's very hard to park, to get in and out. Always so busy. But it does have a lot of shops and food. I recommend coming here by train and not by car.

  • forum2626

Love the Christmas decor and feel they bring together My daughter totally enjoyed getting clicked with candies and other decorations …

  • Nicholas Newman (Optimus_Prime)

Big shopping center with a massive variety of stores. The usual woolworths, coles, dan murphys and Aldi. Harvey Norman is also located here

  • arijit maity

Everything is available here, and there are ample parking spots, with some nice restaurants around except Blu Eatery. Avoid it if possible.

  • julie browne

No good women's clothing shops or shoe shops. No decent homewares shops , a hopeless place just full of nail shops and mobile pop ups.

  • PRASHANT CHANDRA

Westfield Shopping Mall at Hornsby is a good place to hangout in with a wide range of brands and offers in this Christmas season...

Over crowded shopping centre with a bad design! Asian stores every where. Expensive! Not what I expected. Parking was a nightmare!

My go-to place for grocery shopping, even when I have to come during the busy Saturday midday hours, is still not super crowded.

It has been MANY years since I last visited Westfield Hornsby and it has aged well. The food hall is a very surprising delight.
