Hi, today I'd like to share my thoughts about Salmon fish sold by Walmart. What I can tell you guys that their fish is the best based on various factors like -What I understand that they know their avegare daily consumer demand and they fill the shelf with slightly less than that qty. That way, nothing remains unsold at the end of the day and nothing is going back to the freezer. -Besides their fish is packed sealed and air tight. -Costco also sells good quality salmon (Regular farm raised with antibiotics+Antibiotics free+Full organics wild-3 kinds in total) but their fish are skinless while Walmart fish comes with skin which is good because most of the Omega-3 remains just under the skin. -Meantime, Walmart supplied fish might be farm raised with antibiotics but the point is that your body needs to be in Hormesis state time to time, ie your body's exposure to small amount of toxin is good and helps enhance your longevity. My final words to you never buy any discounted salmon from metro or other stores because those discounted fish are close to expiry and long time unsold ones. Very very stinky and you may end up throwing them in the garbage.

I’m really sorry for this Walmart branch. I had a terrible encounter with Gulshan, a staff member who was regrettably the CSM for this location. I requested a refund of my money last night, Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023, since they were unable to provide a valid passport photo. When I asked her to restore the money, she was rude and acrimonious and gave me $22 less than the actual receipt. GULSHAN has the worst, most unpleasant, and most irresponsible employees I have ever encountered in Canadian retail settings. I've heard before that this branch doesn't value its clients, but I've never actually seen this kind of behaviour. I humbly ask that visitors to Canada avoid selecting Walmart (Bank Street) for their services, and I also ask that the HR and marketing leaders at Walmart evaluate CSMs such as GULSHAN in this branch. Called the store to inquire about a portable AC model is in stock and was informed that it is. This is for my 89 years old father who has limited mobility. I drove him there to find out that they don’t have this model in stock and never did. Talked to the Assistant Manager (Lori) about it and she was not helpful at all. She says that there is nothing that she can do. My father who was in a wheelchair was with me abd she didn’t care that we had to go to some trouble to get him to the store. This store has incompetent people that are clueless. It’s a shame and a disgrace to the company that such people work and manage this store.

I want to explain an unsatisfying experience I had with one of your customer service representative on Thursday January 26th. I called to inquire about photo services, and was greeted with a rude and unprofessional attitude. The representative simply said "No" and hang up the phone without offering any further assistance or explanation. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and provided with accurate and helpful information. This representatives behavior was completely unacceptable and I was left feeling frustrated and disappointed.

There was only one cash open on a busy Saturday afternoon (all self check out was open). I went through self check out with my youngest daughter with a cart full of groceries (ice cream, meats, etc) while my older 2 daughters went through the one open cash. They were literally in that line up for over 30 minutes. My youngest was getting cranky, food was melting/getting warm. The cashier seemed to be fairly new, but should have called for help or back up or another cash should have been open. So frustrating to wait in a short line for that long!!

I went there to print passport size photos. I had no idea how to self print photos. Staff at entertainment section help us a lot. I printed 10 photos in one page. Staff at this section was so kind and cut the photo to make it passport size photo. I had 10 photos for $0.40! This store also has McDonald and other section, including fresh fruits and vegetables. They have more self checkout counter than cashier checkout section. Store has bad smell. I was so happy with the staff in print section so that I give 5 stars.

This place is just more miserable all the time. Went to pick up some items. Couldn't get in because the entrance was blocked by customers. There was not one shopping cart to be found. I went to the courtesy desk and mentioned it to the 4 staff behind the desk. No response. Picture 1 is when I came in. As I left, 40 minutes later, guess what! Still no carts. See picture 2. This place is going to the dogs with the lack of any customer care. BTW 1 cash only but lots of staff at the self check out.

The staff were always busy with something, working at keeping the store clean and tidy. And all of them we met were so kind to us as we shopped. I think they could staff more workers at the self-checkout areas during some times during the day to make sure there aren't long wait times and lines at the checkout area. Other than that the employees here are working hard and doing great. BONUS awesome thing - the washrooms have a change table for babies, and there is a family washroom as well.

If you're going for groceries it's worth it. However, the entertainment department is by far the smallest I've seen in any Walmart (Supercenter or not), with no Blu-ray/DVD's, and very little selection of anything else. 3 employees in an entertainment department this small, just waiting for their shift to end is pointless. The self-checkout had only half the registers open, despite a decent line of people waiting. Overall, there are better Walmart's out there (i.e. Train Yards)

This Walmart is filthy; congested with illiterate unhygienic employees that can barely form a coherent sentence. I was buying Alcohol and during the cash out it took a whole team of employees in attempt to complete the transaction; they started questioning another adult who was with me about his age when I’m the one who’s cashing out; a 60 year old responsible Canadian Citizen. These employees are uneducated and do not have a glimpse of competence in service. WHAT A JOKE.

They never pick up phone calls, they never give you proper assistance when you ask, they never follow code of practice when items are wrongly prices, they have not a single ounce of customer service. Will i shop here again, Yes, but just know what your getting people. It's a shifty store with tired employees. They don't care.had to come back and edit this post and State that I stayed on the customer service line for over 20 minutes with out a single person picking up.

Can we start hiring people who know how to properly articulate the English language? The manager couldn’t even explain decent consumer protection laws.. The desperation to hire.. anyone is quite apparent. That’s why customers resort to stealing daily and no one is the wiser. This will be the downfall of Walmart Canada. Your products are rotten, your prices are way high and your managers /cashiers don’t know what a 25cents look like. Pityful.

Shelves always empty. Store filthy. No pride in this store at all. We are at the end of the month and many people including seniors are attempting to do their groceries. Corporate should definitely take the time to visit this store. Staff too busy texting on their phones versus ensuring that their store has stocked shelves. Will never shop here again. Deplorable

They always have at least 5 people manning the self check out when they could have 2-3 people manning those and 2 full service check outs being run at least for people with disabilities. Twice I have gone with a cart full $300 worth of groceries and have had to ring them in myself. Please do better with how you handle the little staff that you do have.

I do not understand why Walmart is opening so early when they are not ready to receive customers in early morning 8-9, Most of the shelfs have not been refilled from the day before. The same with fresh food. I end up having to go to another store to complete my groceries. They should refill the store before opening. Thank you.

Busiest time of year and roughly 60% of their self checkouts were not functioning at the time of my visit. The staff were not very helpful and did not seem very approachable, but I was able to find what I was looking for this time in stock. Typically many items are not labeled with no information on prices.

I found this massage $7. When I go to the cashier, the price is $109. Every day I come, the prices are different. Tim is very bad (and this is not good in dealing with people. Walmart on Bank st. Ottawa has decided in the morning to only use cashiers no self checkout. Disgusting. In a time of flu, covid, colds, rsv etc I don't want my products touched by someone who has touched a million other people's stuff with God knows what diseases. And been in close contact with them.

Staff at self- checkout is disgusting. There is a Philippino lady who do humiliate customers and it was my 2nd time experienc with her. Again, she harassed me. I will not be there at anytime. I am done with the Walmart and Walmart customer service representatives especially at self-checkout.

Called them to ask if my pictures were ready (I paid for next day) it’s been 3 now and they are still not ready. I call them to ask them what is happening and the woman on the phone hung up on me. Very displeased with the service. Edit: She didn’t ask for my order number? Like common!

Great shopping space, and they have amazing things there, but they're sometimes a bit over priced, so it's good when they have their sales. The shopping carts. I walked in once and not a SINGLE cart to be found. Other than that, I love Walmart and it's perfect for groceries.

I went to this store to purchase some groceries I get in there all is good. Went to cash no cashiers all self check out. Go to the lady saying I want to pay cash she refuses to scan my items but scans another customers items when he had way more then me. This is not right

Great place to purchase groceries, clothes and Christmas presents for the family, but always remember to get your receipt! Or, you will find yourself face-to-face with harsh treatment from the store’s security guard, before you reach the carpet near the front door.

I would not recommend this store! They signed my father (has almost same name) up for a credit card. They hit my credit portfolio with an inquiry and gave him a credit card in my name! Not very thorough or diligent with people's personal credit information.

I am very happy with the service I recieved from CSR named Angelina that was provided to me at the Southkeys, Ottawa Wal-Mart location. Angelina was calm, polite, professional and went above and beyond to help me with my needs.

I've never seen so many employees on the floor on their phones. The employees should not be on their phones blocking paths of customers and then rolling their eyes and giving alot of attitude. The same applies for the cashiers.

Security needs to be retrained, my wife and I were profiled and asked for our receipt (two separate occasions) by the same security lady. The security lady stood in front of us while we scan our items then ask for our receipt.

I'm not a prejudice man but. The all Pakistani- Asian Staff target white people in the self-serve. If you are a white person I recommend you shop elsewhere and boycott Walmart Hunt club.
