We went here to try the 2019 Burger Week burger, the Hot Mess. At first we asked the waitress if we could have the egg cooked over-hard, she went to the back and came back out and told us no. We then asked if we could just not have the egg on it, and again was told no, and there was no modifications allowed for the burger. We spoke with the manager and he went and told the chef to fully cook the egg so the yolk wasn't runny. When we got the burger, we had to put it on its side and eat it layer by layer, which seemed to work. That was until we got to the actual burger patty. I sliced into it, over the rest of the burger, so the mac and cheese and the grilled cheese on the bottom, and the patty wasn't fully cooked. It was pretty pink throughout and it grossed us out, so we sent it back and the manager did end up comping the meal for us without much trouble, which is the reason for the 2 stars. So in the end, the chef that didn't want to fully cook the egg, wasn't able to fully cook the actual hamburger.

If you're looking for a casual place to hangout and eat decent bar food that's on-campus look no further than the Hub. There are cool events that go on here every now and then. I might revise my review once I've tried everything they have to offer. Be wary of coming to visit on a lean wallet. Between good food, music, and drinks you might find yourself spending more than you intended. That's a testament to the service and atmosphere that you'll get here at the Hub Social Club.

Great place to stop in. Service is pretty quick, and the food is very reasonably priced and comes in large servings. The staff are friendly and there is plenty of seating. I find that they are a bit overzealous at checking people's IDs and photographing patrons as they come through the door, but I suppose they don't want to get in trouble with serving alcohol to underage people.

Daily beer, cocktail, soup, and entree specials. Booze and spoons is a must for all cereal lovers. The food menu, including the specials will never disappoint. It is my favourite place to grab a bite on campus. The daily evening events are great if you need to wind down from studying. Service is good, even during its busy hours.

First time me and my sister came here we waited over an hour and did not get served even though we told someone about the wait. I decided to give the place another chance because things happen. Came here again same person who made us wait was working. The place was dirty the food have no flavour.

This is the pub located in the University of Manitoba campus. It is not just for students, everyone is welcome. They have drink and food specials almost every night starting at 8pm. It's not too expensive and the pub has good vibes. I have even seen people study for their tests here! …

Phenomenal (and only) place to go to at the University of Manitoba for drinks and bar food. There's vegan and gluten free accommodations, and the owner is very kind! The renovations look nice and it's definitely a great place to go if you want to de-stress from the woahs of school.

It's pretty cool place to eat n drink. Even have few games you can play and also have big screen TV to watch games.... it's really good place to watch games and drink... everyone is welcome here students and general public.... Even students study for their exam at hub

Love this place, one of my fav in city to hangout with your friends and party. The booze is always cheap compared to all other pubs in the city. Food and specials are too good, best value for both food and booze. Wednesday nights are packed, you get beer for $2 …

Come here for the food, drinks, student culture, and by occasion sporting events and to hang out. I used to visit the Hub, and formerly when it was Wise Guys, every now and then when I was a student. Cozy modern bar with TVs and some pool tables as well.

I came here often for lunch with a friend while studying at the university, and it was always a good experience. The staff is very friendly, there was always enough room to sit, and they have a good menu with reasonable prices.

The only good thing is the salad and the fries. Their famous burger tastes bizarre. Do not expect a regular burger taste at all. Not for me and I will not go back. Some of the waiters also have some attitude.

The pub was under renovation so we couldn't get in. It would have been nice to have found this info online so we didn't waste our time time trying to get in.

Came here on a Friday night and the food was great but the music was so loud I was shouting at my friend across the table the entire time.

Too few option on the menu; food size is not really big; the only choice on UM campus at the night; the food menu is mediocre.

Ambience and service were great, 2 flat cokes stopped the 5 star rating.
