I have to post this because the airlines are always getting a bad rap when in reality they do a remarkable job 99% of the time. I arrived to the airport really early and went to check my bag. I figured I would get some work done while I waited. When Ana D. (Woman at check in) saw my departure time she asked me if I would want to get home earlier. I of course said yes and she booked me on a flight getting me home 3 hours early. For those that travel a lot you can understand how extremely nice this is especially on a Friday evening when you've been gone all week. SO THANK YOU ANA D. with UNITED AIRLINES! And you can bet I am writing her bosses to inform them of her great customer service.

My friend had a flight tonight and to Montreal. He was leaving Buffalo and had to go to Washington Dulles to transfer and go to Montreal. The plane he was taking left Washington Dulles and went to Buffalo before going back to Washington Dulles. The first flight got delayed for almost 2 hours and my friend missed the plane to go at Montreal. He asked to all the staff from United airlines and nobody tried to help him. It's the worst airline company I have ever seen. Doesn't care about their customers. I will never but never go with them and I hope no one will. Very bad experience. Very frustrating. I hope my friend will get a compensation and a hotel room for it.

We were taking a united airlines flight from NC to Canada with transit in IAD. The early morning flight from NC were delayed for 3 hrs due to an issue in their de-icing truck. They had to borrow Delta airlines truck ( I guess Delta has a better and newer equipment) causing us miss our connection. We arrived at our final destination 8 hours late. The worst part is that the airlines don't even want to honor their own Notice of Rights for Canadian travelers and pay us the penalty specified for Canadian passengers. Very bad customer service. This airlines are not recommended at all.

United and baggage service in YOW are definitely the worst customer service, the most useless and the least knowledgeable staff I have ever met. Being a regular traveller and a SE Gold Star Alliance member. I’ve had the worse experiences with united. United service and United baggage service at YOW. Absolute poor service. Deserve 0/5 stars. They just tell you to call and contact united and once you do United tells you that claims should’ve been done in person during the incident. Anyways 100’s of dollars and time wasted.

Very rude staff. I arrived an hour before my flight, they rushed me and told me i'm late. I checked in and ran to gate. Flight atendant at the gate was surprised of me being there. I asked if it was the newark flight, she said yes. I told her they told me im late did i miss the flight? She said boarding hasn't started and told me i'm supposed to check in 2 hrs before (in a very rude way). It's a tiny airport and I always come an hr befofe when I fly air canada and was never treated so rudely

If I could give zero stars, I would. No luggage after 24 hours and a terrible tracking system that still does not give me any updates. I talk to an actual person and I am told my luggage has arrived but won't be delivered for another thirteen hours. Customer service is not important to United. If I can find another carrier with a decent schedule, I will actively avoid United flights in the future.

I have been traveling with united for more than 20 years and the service has only gradually worsened in those years. the food is very bad on international flights. if you travel in economy class treat you as if you were traveling for free. They hardly look in your face and are always serious.

Ticket service that outright lies to you regarding payment deadlines, customer service that's slow and lies about calling back, only accepts credit in person without telling you beforehand, horrible experience

Worst Airline Ever!!! Never flying with them again!! Worst customer's service, worst flights, always delayed or canceled. They dont mind keeping me at the airport for 2 whole days.

Horrendous airline. Always delayed. My flight was cancelled completely and I was stranded in Colombia without compensation.
