I have to stress first that the staff and director was lovely and helpful. In the end I was happy with the ease of the process. However you do pay quite a bit for this ease and helpfulness. I was quite shocked and surprised by the high fixed costs of the funerary process. The costs of moving your loved one and fixed staff fees are outrageous. They do provide you with a couple of discounted paperwork services that, honestly, should be complimentary considering you can do them online yourself. The premises are old, dark and dated. The standard selection of urns and caskets again are gaudy and overpriced. We ended up ordering online, as a lot of people do, a lovely less expensive urn. The standard cremation casket is non eco-friendly mdf. I didn’t feel any pressure to pay immediately but I did regardless. Overall the process was smooth, professional, pleasant but informal and extremely expensive… and we didn’t even have a service for our tiny family. Someone needs to do a study on the industry. Even my deceased father said it’s not cheap to die in Manitoba.

Very pleased with our experience! Caitlin was attentive, open minded and clear on how things are run there! She listened and understood all that we were looking for & followed through with our requests! There was no pressure, no sales talk, etc! We worked with them & they worked with us! They were quick in helping attend to things! Which was the huge part of our request! The ambiance is warm and welcoming! The classic look of the building is wonderful! Was some of their pricing on things high…sure! With that being said they never pushed their options on us…. Re : urns, catering! This is my first time, personally, having to directly deal with a funeral home & left there feeling at peace! There are some things that still need attending to but I have the confidence that everything will go smoothly! So patient, so kind, so professional. I felt so comfortable talking with them like they were old friends. I would highly recommend them for anyone wanting a Funeral Home for their loved one. I dealt with Caitlin Meilleur she was a pleasure to work with. Very friendly and pleasant. She’s also very professional. As difficult as it is to plan a funeral she answered all my questions and did not pressure in any way.

My grandma went in there and never came back they just came outside with a vase where she went I don’t know but im still waiting outside
