Room was beautiful and clean. Special treats left for us in the room and fresh baked cookies on arrival were wonderful local touches. Room was quiet and very comfortable. Great location for a quick walk downtown or evening stoll by the water. Breakfast hosted by Julie was phenomenal. She is such a warm and welcoming host despite being busy keeping on top of making and putting out fresh items. Overall it was an awesome experience we hope to do again and again.

The Rosemount Inn is an enchanting historic B&B located in a quiet area. After you stay in a place like this, the big box hotels won't feel so inviting. Steps to historic downtown Kingston with many sights and restaurants. Recently renovated top to bottom, with more of a couples/ adults atmosphere. Gorgeously appointed rooms, "Nespresso" machines in each room, freshly baked cookies upon arrival, very comfortable beds and a spa like bath. The owners Lucy and Matt were wonderful and extremely attentive, top notch customer care (communicated by texts). Breakfast was delicious, and the friendly chef also went above and beyond to ensure everyone had what they needed. Delicious coffee, fresh fruit, baked goods with homemade jam, breakfast wraps on a panini press were just a few of the items offered. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this exquisite gem! Thank you Lucy, Matt and the Rosemount staff for facilitating this lovely get away experience.

Lovely Inn, one of the best I have stayed in. The checkin/ checkout is contactless and very convenient. All of the staff, especially the breakfast chef were very pleasant to interact with. The breakfast was delicious and they are willing to accommodate any allergies or dietary restriction. I am celiac and can’t eat gluten so the chef made me a special plate every morning and kept it separated from the regular food which I really appreciated. In addition to that, they always had fresh cookies in the lobby in the afternoon/ evening, they even made me some gluten free cookies which they put in my room while we were out. The inn itself is beautifully designed, clean, in a good location (5 mins walk from downtown Kingston) and is filled with history. The only issue we had was the room for 3 people felt a little tight and we wished there would have been a tv in the room. Overall amazing stay and I am looking forward to returning there upon my next visit to Kingston.

This was hands-down the best B&B I've ever been to. It was comfortable and beautifully designed, the right balance between historic and modern. I loved the gas fireplace in my room and the large shower. The gorgeous parlour, which was empty much of the time, was the perfect quiet spot for relaxing and reading a book. Breakfast was served buffet-style and offered something new each day. The variety and quality of the food was outstanding: breakfast sandwiches, fruit, pastries, croissants, and more. The chef came out to greet me each morning as I was getting my breakfast to ask how I slept and if I needed anything. The Inn was within walking distance of downtown and the waterfront, so I didn't have to use my car too much. I will definitely stay there again if I'm ever back in Kingston!

My boyfriend and I booked this place last minute and it did not disappoint. We are sad to have only stayed one night. From the personalized note from and welcome champagne from the owners, to the kindness of the Inn Keeper, and the chef in the morning (apologies for not remembering names) we had such a nice and welcoming experience. Would highly recommend staying here if you have the chance. Great walking distance from all the restaurants and although we didn't get dessert out after our dinner, we came back to the Inn where there were homemade chocolate chip cookies on the entry way table. :-) The breakfast in the morning was delicious and the chef came out to check on us to make sure everything was to our liking. The hospitality here was incredible. Thank you for a lovely stay!

I absolutely LOVE this hidden gem in Kingston. First of all, it is esthetically gorgeous in decor. The property has lots of green space and little places to sit and enjoy. The patio has seating with a fire to stay cozy by. Our room was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious with 2 sinks and a huge shower. Again, tastefully designed. I love the gift of Rosé bubbles and chocolates. Fresh chocolate chip cookies served late afternoon was a yummy delight. The breakfast was beyond my expectations and certainly the best one I have ever had in a long time. The chef makes everything from scratch and there was something for everyone at the breakfast table. The Innkeeper was friendly, helpful and available to answer questions etc. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in the Premium King room on our wedding night and had the best experience! It felt like we had arrived in Italy when we entered into the beautiful stone arch door. I loved that they had real keys in envelopes, it felt like such an authentic experience. The interior is so beautiful and modern, they've done an amazing job with the renovations. The room was lovely, spacious, with a super comfortable bed and complete blackout curtains. They left us a cute note and some chocolate, and allowed some of our friends and family to deliver gifts and flowers as well! In the morning the breakfast was filling and the staff were so friendly, they felt like family. I only wish we could have spent more time there! We're already planning an anniversary stay.

The Rosemount Inn is a gem, and their staff is fantastic. It is the perfect blend of availability for any questions, and privacy. We’ve stayed here 3 times now, and each time was unique, restful, relaxing, and recharging. The most recent was for our anniversary & the staff was so warm & left us unique special touches that made our stay very memorable. The Inn itself is beautiful with its original history, and the updated design is styled perfectly, with the rooms, bathrooms and beds being incredibly comfortable & welcoming. Breakfast in bed is a treat, but it’s the food itself which is absolutely delicious- definitely homemade touches within that will start your day on the happiest foot. Without doubt, we will be back.

All I want to do is return for another week! My husband and I had such a lovely time in this quiet inn. The building itself is just gorgeous and I love the design elements in each room. The breakfast boxes were absolutely delicious and the chef did an amazing job catering to dietary restrictions. My gluten free box had food that was tasty and soft! Check in and check out was self serve, but the staff were wonderful at communicating via text to see if we needed anything. And oh lord I LOVE YOUR PILLOWS! We want to return so badly for our anniversary but you are booked :( We will definitely find some time to return to this gem. Thank you Rosemount Inn for giving us the quiet escape we desperately needed!

My husband and I spent our 21st anniversary at this historic Inn in Kingston. The setting was spectacular. The interior decorating was top notch and so creatively put together. I loved how along the stair case is a framed wall of Jane Austin's classic novel. We stayed in the coach house which was splendid. The little touches of champagne, a delicious gluten free breakfast chocolates in the fridge upon your arrival are some of the amazing touches we enjoyed. If you are a history buff you will love this Inn. It is within walking distance to amazing shops and restaurants. Lucy and Matt the owners have done a fantastic job and have lovely staff. I hope to return there in the future and highly recommend it. Thank you!

Rosemount Inn is such a beautiful historical masterpiece of architecture and history on one of the most beautiful streets in Kingston. The rooms are beautiful. The service is great. They bake fresh cookies every day for guests. What an extra add on! The breakfast was lovely and made with love and care by the wonderful chef. She was so sweet. I would 100% stay here again when visiting Kingston and I suggest you do too if you love history and beauty.

We had the most amazing stay at the Rosemount Inn. We couldn't be more happy with our time there. It was the most flawless contactless check-in (they had our room ready early without any problem so we didn't have to wait around). The room was beautiful and pristine and we were welcomed with chocolates and some bubbly. Breakfast came in individual boxes and we had some tricky dietary requirements (vegan!), which they were so wonderful at accommodating. They never made us feel as though it was a hassle. Every afternoon, we came back to fresh cookies. The customer service was also fantastic. If I could give a 10 star review I would. Best B&B experience I've had!

I just spent 2 nights at the Rosemount Inn and can't imagine staying anywhere else while in Kingston. Based on previous reviews and photos, I expected the Inn to be nice and it exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect for me. A short walk into downtown and to the Queen's campus/waterfront. Although check in was contactless, there was regular text communication from the owners, Lucy & Matt. My room was so beautiful and comfortable and had a lovely view of the garden area. The breakfast was delicious and the staff went out of their way to ensure that you had everything you needed. I loved the quiet luxury of the Rosemount and will definitely return!

My husband and I stayed in the stunningly designed Classic King for our honeymoon. I can’t speak highly enough about our experience, from how effortless check-in/check-out is, how delicious and high quality the breakfast was (shout out to the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies in the foyer every afternoon ), to how beautifully designed this boutique hotel is. The location is on point, and the staff are incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming. We truly felt at home, and look forward to returning in the future to celebrate our anniversary.

Our 2nd visit, the first being during COVID, so this time we were able to go to the restaurant for breakfast - breakfast sandwiches, home made scones and jam, oatmeal, fruit toast and other options they will make for you - lovely. Very much appreciated the care taken to avoid single use plastics. Lovely old mansion, with fitting furnishings and decorations. Very nice sheets and towels. Room number 9 was large with a big shower and coffee maker.

We had an amazing stay at the Rosemount! We felt very well welcomed and taken care of. Every little detail was very much appreciated, from the little gifts in the room to the snacks in the entrance! The place itself is beautiful, not only was the room gorgeous, but the shared living room and garden as well! Every space was super clean and the bed/pillows very comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely great, most of it home made and tasted delicious! The chef was very nice and made sure we had enough of everything, even offered us to take some for later. We would love to come back anytime! Thanks for everything!

Well what can I say about the Rosemount Inn? Can an establishment be pretty reasonably priced for the location, have excellent service, friendly staff and a beautiful property? Well, the Rosemount Inn is all of these things. Breakfast was top-notch and the chef Michelle was an amazing person. She was very friendly and had an infectious energy. We looked forward to breakfast because of this. They were very accommodating of dietary restrictions (celiac disease). Exceeded all of my expectations, and now I know where to stay if I'm in Kingston again. Thanks a lot guys!

Our recent one-night stay was our first visit to the beautiful Rosemount Inn. We were made very welcome on arrival, and we were very impressed with the fabulous decor on entering. Owing to a cancellation we received an upgrade from a Queen sized to King sized room for no extra cost. Our lovely room on the ground floor was very clean and comfortable, with a surprise treat in the fridge! The breakfast the following morning was delicious, all the baked items made in the Rosemount kitchen, and very friendly service. We look forward to our next visit!

We splurged on the last night of a much needed vacation and road trip. The property, room, staff, breakfast, amenities, cleanliness were all 5-star! Our room had perfect bedding, towels, great shower, espresso coffee maker and a fireplace in our romantic room (if ONLY it had been cold we would have lit it!). Appreciated the care of friendly staff, the LGBT+ heart in the window, and the text reminder for all guests to be respectful of noise this large lovely house where sound probably travels. It was quiet, peaceful! We can't wait to stay again.

We stayed in a premium king room for our wedding anniversary 2 weeks ago. The decor, furnishings and color choices were all very bold and classy! There were lots of thoughtful, high-end touches that really added to the overall boutique feel of the inn. The staff were extremely responsive and went out of their way to make us feel welcome in spite of the "contactless" check in/out process. I highly recommend a stay at the Rosemount and we plan to return for our next anniversary.

I stayed here for a weekend with a friend. We wanted to have a movie night so we picked the Edwards Suite and it was absolutely perfect. The room was clean, well decorated, TV had access to all the latest streaming sites, and they even left us popcorn! Breakfast was great for both days and they were super accommodating to our requests. Location of the hotel is also perfect - just a 5min stroll from downtown shopping area.
