What a great experience! We dealt with the Home Depot for the purchase of our granite counter top and were served by Sudad who gave us outstanding customer service! We could not make a decision by looking at the samples in the store so Sudad suggested that we visit the showroom of Stoneworx. My husband and I made an appointment with Lisa to visit the showroom to view the granite slabs and make our decision. Upon entering the lobby, the first thing we noticed was a custom made kleenx tissue holder. We made a mental note to order one to sit on our new counter top and match it. Lisa was terrific to work with. We looked at many slabs and weren't seeing what we wanted. Lisa said that she had a suggestion but that it was a little more expensive. We asked to see the Fantasy Brown that she recommended. This beautiful stone was definitely misnamed but gorgeous and just what we were looking for. It should be called Fantasy Grey! We ordered the counter, back-splash and kleenx box in November. The measure was booked and completed within a week. The counter top and kleenx box were delivered and installed before Christmas. The backsplash was installed the first week of January. The staff that measured, delivered, and installed were all courteous and professional. They wore masks while in our home since this happened during Covid. I would confidently recommend the Home Depot and Stoneworx to family and friends. It was a pleasant experience from start to finish and we are thrilled with the end result. Thank you!

So I went to home depo at Burloak yesterday interested in getting the 8 foot Boogie man for my halloween display that I do every year. I was really excited to get this guy. I went in and they were sold out at all locations in Ontario. So I asked the manager if I could buy the floor model. The lady there told me no and said their manager there had said that they wouldn't sell the floor model. I thought this was dumb because they don't have any to sell anyways and it doesn't look like they are getting more. So I left disappointed. So I decided to go to the location by guelph line and spoke to the manager Hashmeet Dahalay. HE WAS AMAZING. I asked him the same question and he said not a problem at all. He even took it down himself for me and gave me a discount as it was a floor model. The customer service at that location was WAYYYYYY better than what I had just experienced at the burloak location. Great customer service is something that is lacking in the world right now so I was really happy to see that great customer service does still exsist. Thank you so much Hasmeet for making my day. I highly recommend this location if you need anything for your home. Thanks again.

I am a frequent customer of The homedepot. I bought a whole bathroom at the homedepot. I swiped the cards of different banks twice. The first card showed that I failed to swipe, and then I changed the second card and swiped successfully. But I checked with the bank and the bank told me that the money from the first card was taken, which means they charged me twice. I have been buying materials at The homedepot for so many years, and this is the first time this happened to this store. I have communicated with this merchant many times, and the manager of their store is always evasive, and their reply is that they cannot find this. I just don't want to refund the money, which makes me so disappointed. A company as big as The homedepot will do such a thing. Maybe it's just a problem with the management of this store. I have no choice but to ask the bank to negotiate with them. I hope they can handle it. I hope that you will check your bank when you buy things at 3050 Davidson Ct, Burlington, ON L7M 4M9 The homedepot in the future, so as not to be deducted indiscriminately.

FACT: this was the absolute BEST service I have EVER HAD at Home depot. I was in to buy a ceiling fan, i was served by "Chris" ......I wa unsure what I was buying, he never rushed, he took time to answer every question, he made recommendations based on personal experience and actual facts. He even stood by while I called my wife in case there were other questions. Thank you Chris you made this experience extremely positive. As well, all the other store associates were extremely friendly......no less than 6 or 7 associates said "hello" to me on my trek from the entrance to the electrical department. This is quite an anomaly as everyone know......normally when you enter retail stores nowadays especially big box stores, the workers do everything they can to avoid you. So this is a shout out to the Manager of this Home Depot......clearly you are and have made "customer service" a focus in your store. Well Done!

Our upright freezer quit working early this morning so after checking online who was open by 9 am, we decided to go to Home Depot. The salesman was great, as well as the lady at the order desk. Knowing that we had to get a freezer immediately because we had nowhere else to keep food frozen, she offered us a 3 hour delivery which we took. Sure enough we got our new freezer, the delivery man took it all apart and removed the packaging, but said he doesn’t carry any tools and left us with the hinges on the wrong side and the unit teetering! Calling Home Depot for help, I was told that I should have taken the 3 day delivery!!! They did say they could send someone out for an additional $150 - $200, wow what amazing service, NOT!!!!! We certainly won’t be buying anything from them anytime soon.

Today I went to this Home Depot location. I am a new painter, but my mom has been a painter for 15 years. Today, i was on the phone with my mom and I was talking to her about what paint i should purchase. I was then rudely interrupted by a woman named Teresa. She was trying to sell me different types of paint, and I was unsure of what to get, so i called my mom. While on the phone with my mom she kept interrupting me and being very rude. she would not let me buy the paint i wanted to as she “didn’t recommend” it and kept on insisting i dont buy it. I did understand her concerns but at the same time, as a customer if i want to buy a product and i never even asked her for help originally. i am very disappointed in my experience here, as i was treated very poorly and like i knew nothing.

Burlington location has been great in general. Having a problem with their appliance customer service about not being able to arrange haul away service for the old washer and dryer, after purchasing the new pair end of 2022. At first the installer refused to haul (and asks me whether I can lend a hand), then it seems that the responsibility falls on me to keep calling their customer service to get a solution. Finally was told that they are not going to honor it because it’s been dragging too long. This is not what I expect from Home Depot where tens of thousands of bucks have been spent. You just turned away a long time royal customer.

I am a 71 year old, with a torn rotator cuff and torn bicep tendon. Lifting and carrying are nearby impossible for me. I was so pleasantly surprised today, at how accommodating and helpful 2 of your employees were. I was at the Davidson court location in Burlington. I only have one of their names ….. Rick at the ‘help desk’ and a fellow who cut a piece of wood for me . It’s so easy to write a negative review, but so much better to acknowledge great customer service. Want to recognize salesperson (Suadad) who went out of her way to help me buy a fridge. She was professional and knowledgeable. I was going to get HomeDepot credit card to save $100 but here system froze - she contacted your IT dept (several different people) but couldn’t see to fix the issue. So, I paid by my own credit card. The technology issues were not Suadad’s fault and she apologized several times. She did everything she could and I really appreciated that. She should be recognized for excellent customer service

Purchased a washer, dryer, and install/takeaway of the old appliances. It took over three months from first delivery and hours on the phone with their customer support line to finally get it done. The employees of the store are good people in my experience, but there's nothing the store can even do to help; everything goes through call centers, including trying to get fair compensation. Do not buy large appliances from Home Depot, you're absolutely screwed if there are any issues.

Be careful of the Home Depot credit card - I got it due to promotion - tried to check and pay the balance in store - was told that not possible. Tried to register online and got an error message saying to call. Ended up spending 3 hours on phone to resolve issue and rep was rude and arrogant. Ended up cancelling my Home Depot credit card - lots better options out there for credit cards. Do not recommend - not worth the “promotion” for first time use of the card. Borderline scam

Purchased a mini fridge from this store and it was severely damaged. Massive dents on the front and in the interior, on top of that there was zero padding or protection inside the box. When exchanging the fridge at the Hamilton location the same fridge had foam padding on the top, bottom and corners of the fridge and wrapped in plastic. It seems that someone returned the fridge and Home Depot neglected to check on the condition of the fridge. Customer service was excellent.

Love Home Depot and this store doesn't disappoint. Clean and organized with good stock. Good and consistent prices. Fantastic Christmas selection and displays. Help in departments is usually available, but has always been friendly and knowledgeable. They have a great system with their self serve order pickup lockers at the entrance. Parking and access to the parking lot is fair.

Kevin in the appliance department in Burlington is the most kindest man ever. Our oven stopped working weeks ago and using our air fryer was getting old. So went to purchase a new one and was greeted with the friendliest smile. Please let him know that the first meal I cooked was shepherds pie and it was amazing.

Best Home Depot location, the staff will sit there with you and help you figure out your problem and I never feel rushed. Rental department will look at the job you're trying to do and tell you the exact thing you need for the job and don't try to upsell you on stuff you don't need which is super cool

They started parking their rental fleet in the pro parking spots. Which wasn't the case before. Now contractors are parking infront of the bay doors to load and its a mess. They need to sort this mess out asap. Sooner or later someone will get hit with all the congestion.
