I had gone to this store to pick up an order sent to me via purolator at this pick up location and the staff member here explained that I needed a parcel slip to get the item. After I had explained that I do not get a slip in the mail due to the app that the item is shipped from, the store clerk called the manager to discuss and make arrangements so I could take my item home with proof of ID. It turns out the item was shipped through UPS by the sender and not Purolator. Their UPS scanner was down and the clerk offered to take my phone number and call me when the system went back up. He called me within 5 minutes of me leaving the store and had the item ready to go. The staff at this store have always been so kind to me when shipping/receiving items through UPS/Purolator and although there was a hiccup, it was handled with professionalism, kindness and patience. I wanted to say my sincere thanks for helping me out today. A little kindness really does go a long way

My father, who is visiting from Nova Scotia, and I went in this morning to check it out. He wanted to buy lottery tickets. The total came to $9.00. My dad gave the teenager behind the counter $20.00. The teen said Thank you and just stood there. My dad said you’re suppose to give me back change. The teen said ok and stood there blankly as if he has no idea what to do. My dad proceeded to say you owe me $11.00 back. He said ok and opened the till and did nothing. My dad said two $5 and a loonie. He gave my dad his change and then left to go to a room out back. I realize this is a new store and they’re still ironing out the kinks but a teenager running a store by himself should be able to do basic math and have basic customer service skills and not leave customers alone in the store.

If you're a parent of an autistic spectrum child NEVER GO there. These ppl are fake , she knows my son is autistic. The tantrums I am embarrassed about. My son as most autism spectrum child runs out even with . She knows I come every time. Within 1min . She had the audacity to 1. Leave him there like a bacterial growth. Doesn't even comfort him or give him a blanket she called the police whom said all was ok. Even when she saw me in 2the store she just kept talking Not ohh the mom has arrived . I have already tolerated the over priced product you will understand what your actions inspire others to do. #autismcommunity don't need owners like this in the community.

10/10 would HIGHLY recommend. I visited this store for the first time tonight, and was so warmly welcomed and shown around. The store is clean, with a great ambiance and isn't your average "corner store". It has everything from the essentials, to the goodies, and then to the slushie/coffee/hot chocolate/menchies treats! Such wonderful people, incredibly kind, and friendly. It's a huge asset for half moon bay, and I foresee many trips to That Corner Store :)

I was in for the first time tonight around 8 very nice setup you can buy coffee, cig,lottery ,slushies, freal shakes and a lot more and the girl on the cash was amazing we did a mess and she said she will take care of it ,she looks so experienced with great customer service skills .glad that we have a corner store in the area my kids love it .it looks like they are settled well now , will be coming back for sure .

That Corner Store – it's truly a gem in our neighborhood! I just love how you walk in and they greet you by name. It's like stepping into a friend's home. I can't get enough of their deli sandwiches – they're perfect for a quick lunch, and the coffee corner is my favorite spot to unwind. They always seem to have a new coffee blend that smells great.

Visited today to drop off a UPS package. I drove by the place the first time as I missed the turn into the parking lot. Upon entry I was greeting by a friendly staff member, which I was pleasantly surprised by, as customer service is harder to find these days. I'd recommend stopping in here to drop off packages, or to pick up some essentials.

I recently visited a gas station with significantly lower prices and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The staff was friendly, the facility was well-maintained, and the location was convenient. I highly recommend this budget-friendly gas station for its affordable fuel and excellent service.

A small convenience store, conveniently accessible, tucked in the Halfmoon bay community. Easily accessible for last minute items or late snack cravings. I was here for checking my lottery tickets. Found the cashier to be very friendly and helpful.

The owner is rude, especially to children. Yes I can understand the stress of dealing with children but you’re a business. Conduct yourself appropriately if you want repeat customers.

My daughter goes there every single day. And the people there are so nice. My daughter always smiles when she comes back home because the workers there are pure hearted.
