I needed some Belacan but I could not remember its name. Shrimp paste yeah? There was something missing from the curries I have been cooking in my warehouse apartment. I wanted to make a real Malaysian chicken curry or Captains Curry. Like the kind of thing you would get in the back streets of Penang lah. Then I remembered Thai Kee IGA which has just about everything you would need from an Asian supermarket. It also has a butcher in the shop and a veg department , so I could get every ingredient I needed. But while I was there I decided to go shopping for more Asian delights. The tea section is pretty amazing alone. I purchased a teapot which cost about 13 bucks. And lots of tea. I bought a selection of things. I am impressed with the labelling and packaging of the goods. Bright colours like a Pop Art gallery display. Actually, I did buy things just for their colour and the fact they would cheer up the warehouse. Oh yeah I did find the Belacan too. I think it's fermented shrimp paste in a block. And some Malaysian curry powder. Happy with my home cooked curry. It's a bit crowded yeah but that can only be a good thing.

This is where you can find (almost) anything. If you're looking for Asian snacks, or condiments, they have them all. For me, It's always exciting to see whats on their snacks display corner (pardon me for naming it that) but you'll see random things there. From cute and fancy financiers to character macarons, to scones, and cakes and all the cute little desserts (I'm a sweet tooth). The scone, is my favorite. I don't know who's the genius created this nunettine scone, but oh my it is perfect, with a hint of apricot jam and a thin layer of meringue(?) on top. It is SOOO good! It's not too sweet. I enjoy them with a cuppa black tea.

I love their selection of international snack foods. That includes American chocolates and cereals having prices lower than most other places. Onto the bad. Employees here must brush up on their manners - one staff pretty much shoved his loading cart right in front of the section I was browsing at even though it was painfully clear I was there. Also for the checkout staff. May I recommend the importance of saying 'thank you' and 'next, please' instead of the antisocial glares and being a tosspot. A little goes a long way.

Love this Asian supermarket! One of the biggest selection of Asian goods - Japanese, Korean, Southeast Asian etc. I had to stop myself from over-purchasing and mainly because I couldn’t carry more. Definitely can’t beat the variety. I loved that there are instant noodles sold in single packets so you can easily try different flavors and find out if it is for you! The mart is quite crowded, so be ready to get in line for payment. I’ll definitely be back, with a trolley next time probably!

Always love how many things they sell here! It's my go to grocer since I work quite close and it's easy if I want something quick and easy for a snack. I love that during the moon festival period, they have a big pop up stall in the building! Legit so overwhelmed by how many different brands and flavours they have available. There were also some mooncakes that were on sale too! So convenient really

The large supermarkets is on the 2nd floor of Market City in Haymarket area in Sydney There are goods and food for typical Australian souvenirs such as Naugat, chocolate etc. As an alternative place to buy souvenirs. Comfortable, affordable prices, friendly service. Disabled friendly because escalators are available.

Great prices, super super organised. Everything is meticulously organised in cuisine ect. Friendly staff at the register and they have a nice fresh veggies/fruit section. They also have a butcher and a good selection of frozen meat/seafood. Awesome place, will always walk out with extra purchases.

An Asian grocery store. We had high expectations to look for varieties of groceries here but end up in disappointment. The supermarket is big but not extensive in varieties. We found that many groceries store in Melbourne chinatown are better in varieties than this supermarket.

For a super market inside a shopping centre, this IGA is great for range of product. Their tea choices are very extensive. Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Korean. They have it all. Very impressed
