I’m not sure if this place has changed ownership as it seems to be a whole new team working here. However since this team/ownership change, the curries have changed and are very watered down now. We have been getting takeaway from here for years, but have not enjoyed the food we have eaten the last couple of times over the last month.

Just bought a takeaway dinner from here this evening. The lady at the counter was so sweet and patient as I asked about the different dishes, and I can say this was hands down the best tandoori chicken wrap I've ever had. The portions are generous and it's good value for money. More

I always get the butter chicken and rice. It's only 9.90 takeaway for a decent size and it is amazing every single time. Couldn't put a fault on these guys. Very friendly and let us try different ones as I do not have much experience with Indian food. Definitely recommend!

Ordered delivery and was not great. Had chicken tikka that tasted only like capsicum, chickpeas masala that were hard and grainy, aloo paratha was like cardboard. Such a sad experience. Had higher expectations from reading the reviews. Still hungry, many regrets.

The best Indian in town. You can actually taste the herbs. It's rich. The meat is always tender. The portion sizes are generous and you can choose your spice amount ... best Indian in the inner west.. maybe even Sydney Keep it up guys.. love it

I usually like their biryani! But as an Indian I do not appreciate if my curries are overly sweet. I get that it’s to suit the local palate, but it’s not how it’s meant to be. Butter chicken was overly sweet, hardly buttery. Samosa was nice.

When ordered as takeout this food might not be all that impressive. I think that’s the issue here as this place markets itself as both a dine in and takeaway and that is a bit damning. But if you’re in Newtown and you’re willing to take the

Only order here if you are prepared to wait. Ordered at 7pm for delievery at 7:30, order kept getting delayed until 9pm when they cancelled my order. It will honestly be quicker to book a plane ticket to India and learn how to cook the

I came here a few months back, a place selected by my friends. I usually avoid Indian food due to the spices however I really enjoyed the food at this place. I ordered the mango chicken. It was sweet, hearty and filling. I didn't even

Been regularly ordering here for years and food was always incredible. Recent ownership change has changed the recipes and I’m extremely disappointed. If anyone knows where the previous owners went, please let me know!

I had been liking this place, but lately the take away has been getting more stingy - about 3/4 rice, and only 2 (!!) pieces of chicken. Quite disappointed as the curry is tasty if you can get any of it. More

The food and service was very nice. We tried the Palak paneer, Tandoori Chicken, Kashmiri Chicken Tikka with rice. It was so full of flavours. Definitely a reccomendation to everyone. Dont miss out yall

At last a decent Curry House on King St. Does not look promising from the outside but the food is beautifully cooked. Nice and spicy, you can ask for extra spice when you order from the menu. More

Curry wasn’t nice. Had potato and eggplant... it was very dry and had no sauce. Yellow lentil dahl was ok but still not really nice. Onion bhaji was best I’ve had and nice dipping sauce.

Good value and tasty Indian introduced to me and endorsed by an English friend who loves a curry. He and his English friends agree, one of the better indian restaurants in sydney. More

Was initially sceptical about it due to the name tandoori express but thought I'd give it a shot. Unfortunately however I wasn't proven wrong and it was pretty poor quality.

WOW! Give it a go for yourself! I've always walked past this place and never been that bothered by trying it with its relatively ordinary interior.

Very friendly staff. The food was so delicious and tasty. The meat in the entrees meat platter was so tender and flavoursome. Plenty of seat. More

Our chicken in our Tika masala was completely raw and uncooked. The lamb curry was also way to salty to eat. Avoid at all costs!

Its taken me 20 years of living in Australia to find a curry that's anything close to my home town of Bradford, UK.
