Generously, 1.5 stars out of 5 (rating it a 2 as a forced round up to fit within Google's review system). Genuinely cannot understand the praises given to this restaurant by other reviewers. The service was nothing special, and the food ranged from fair/passable to sickening where any of the overly oily fried dishes were concerned. Credit where credit's due, the prices are good value but is it really a deal when you're paying less for bad food? Note: This didn't affect my rating, but it's worth pointing out that this restaurant serves Western Chinese cuisine. If you were looking for more authentic Chinese cuisine, have another reason to avoid this establishment.

Best Chinese joint in the Greater Bankstown area. Fresh vegetables, astounding flavours, distinctive individual meals, 3rd generation genuine family business. The grandfather is still in the kitchen cooking. Definitely not upmarket but you will often hear locals boasting that they have been going there for 20 or 30 years. Currently Joanne is managing the shop and will often be chatting feverishly to customers at tables. Trust me, you will go back after your 1st visit. Best Chinese new year celebrations outside of Chinatown if your lucky enough to score a table. Do it!!!

Went there for a Birthday Dinner with family, 4 people plenty of food & complimentary fruit 'n' fortune cookies at the end. Great selection and prices. all fed for under $100.00 great attentive service. have had their takeaway for will try to eat there more. thanks (even the new girl was great) thank you all. UPDATE : 19/03/2022 - just had takeaway delivered WOW!!!! less than 20 minutes (approx) from hanging up the phone to being handed to me at the door. 6 dishes/types all cooked perfectly. praise , praise.

Came for some plain rice takeaway and was told $4 a plastic box. 2 boxes for $8 of just plain rice. I had $7.55 In car coins and said that's all the silver coins I got. Was told one would have to be small and no discount. 10 minutes later was given small rice.... Really upsetting as rice is usually $2 a box.!?!? Even though I paid double the price and still you had to haggle me. Ruined my mood and night. Went home and had to tell my family this story of why I could bring back 1 small rice and 1 big rice....

We ordered satay noodles which were pretty okay. Mid way through eating i had found a price tag in my food. We also ordered satay vegetables ( which does not state that it is chilli). When the plate comes out we find it it’s packed with chilli. I asked the worker nicely to please return it and take it off our bill because no where stated that it had chilli, the worker tried convincing me that it doesn’t contain any chilli or spice until she finally walked away and removed both dishes off the menu

I went there and ordered chicken and cashew nuts with fried rice - no pork/ham. I received the dish - with pork. Showed it to the owner who tried to tell me that I have not mentioned my special requirement. He then took the dish back and brought out another a few minutes later. I suspected that they has given me new fried rice and just flipped the chicken and cashew nuts form the old dish onto it. Yes, I moved a bit of the chicken and a couple of pieces of ham slid out from under it.

Great place if you want to try Chinese food we all are accustomed to and well known in Australian culture. A restaurant lost in time from decorated maroon curtains and furniture to fortune Cookies and fresh fruit served at the end of every meal served. Take away and delivery available. Food tastes great not a show stopper but satisfying enough to fill your appetite. Warm and friendly service staff are welcoming towards guests comfortable place to entertain family and friends.

Answered rudely, kept me on hold for a long while, then finally when I spoke to a lady, she was rude and had little patience for me, took me a good 5 Min to tell her my order, then after all that trouble I was told the delivery will take "much longer than an hour". I said if they had mentioned that earlier I'd have not bothered to order, she said "ok don't worry" and hung up on me. Appalling customer service.

Nice food however i ordered Mongolian lamb without onion (delivery) and i get a half filled container with hardly anything in it. We called them and were informed that onion is a filler so u only get half.... its a joke when they still charge u full price for half a meal. Very disappointed as we have ordered from them many times before no one was willing to help us.. we will not be going back!

my parents have been going there for over 20 years and still it has never disappointed, the best chinese food you will ever get. staff are so nice and the atmosphere is great. 10/10 recommend.

Great restaurant, friendly staff, tasty food and always some freebies which is a nice touch. Been going for years and can honestly say that I have never had a bad meal there.The duck with orange sauce is amazing! - my favourite, and the special fried rice is the BEST I have ever tasted, full of chicken, prawns and pork, ham- delicious!

Went in today bought the hokkien noodle with chicken plus the chow mein it was so so BAD I CHUCKED THEM IN THE BIN no flavour bland just terrible do not recommend at all what a waste of money and time worst Chinese I have ever eaten in my life snd I love my Asian food you guys turned me off trying to Chinese places ever again

Love this restaurant have been going here ever since i was 5. Love how its a family owned business and everytime we go in they greet us and we talk about the memories weve had. The food is always amazing, fresh, and full of flavour. The environment is also so comfortable and welcoming. Definitely the best Chinese food

Great atmosphere, service and food. I have been going to this restaurant for over 20 years and have not found it's equal. I highly recommend the spicy chicken wings if you like chilli and garlic. The in house delivery service is good and bonus items depending on how much you spend

I love this place and get takeaway on a regular basis. Staff are nice and friendly. Quick service and nice food. I love the mini spring rolls, curried chicken, combination short soup (that's a meal in itself very hearty meal) amongst other meals. Nice atmosphere and clean.

The 3 stars is for the service. I loved the service. But the food is below average. Spring Rolls were not cooked and the wonton soup was underwhelming. Good wontons, bland soup. You can’t win ‘em all I guess. But the service, great friendly service.

Our go to Chinese!!!! Lovely staff, cute venue and awesome old school music you'll sing a long to! They even serve oranges and fortune cookies after your meal. Highly recommended chicken wings and all the sizzling plates! Great price too.

Customer Service was OK. I witnessed with my own eyes a staff member leave the restroom and entering the kitchen without washing their hands. I felt ill afterwards following my visit to this restaurant. Would not recommend.

Food is excellent. The home delivery service has also been good in the past, though, lately, 45 minutes means 90 minutes, and 'over an hour' can mean more than two hours. Still, it's the best Chinese food in this area.

Used to go here about 25 years ago & it’s just as good as I remember! If a restaurant is busy on a Tuesday night then you know it’s good!

While the service was good and friendly, the food was pretty bad. The boiled rice was hard and dry, the food were way too sweet and the beef felt really old.
