I was unfortunate enough to have to stop in at the TD in City Centre on Feb 10 late morning. I luckily do not bank with them but needed to certify a cheque from them. It started off fine but as I waited with the teller for a call back on the certification, an elderly gentleman had come in the city centre doors to come do some banking. Mall security approached him because he was not wearing a mask (not here to debate either side of that) he did not want to put one on and asked to just speak with the bank manager as he had an appointment and was a long time customer there. The situation became louder with the man begging to be treated like a human being and not thrown out like trash and as this was all going down.... the teller dealing with me was laughing with his coworkers and who I assume to be the branch manager (fairly young man with dirty blonde/ light brown hair, grey suit) and commenting about how they hope security let's him past so THEY can then throw him out. As this is all happening I am literally sitting there CRYING because this is now our world. In 2 weeks (hopefully) the mask mandate will be lifted and they would have greeted him with a smile but yesterday.... this elderly man who us a CUSTOMER of theirs was mocked and ridiculed in front of other customers by staff and management. It was absolutely horrifying. I too am to blame for not standing up and saying something in the moment but I needed to complete my business and feared this would not happen if I had spoken up. Disgusted with the way this whole situation was handled by both the mall security and entire staff at this branch...

Ami is great, and some of the staff are nice, but the service is extremely slow. They are almost always understaffed. Today I was there and an extra person jumped on to help with the line the was flowing well over the queue and into the middle of the bank, and then as it started to lighten up, he left and said someone else would help. Then another lady closed her station after him, and of course the line built up again. After waiting at least 30 minutes, I finally get to a teller and she wasn't able to assist with my situation because she had to call other places, and then she to,d me I should have used the Green Machine so I didn't have to wait and that they were short staffed. They're always short staffed. I've been coming here for years now because of the location, but I'm getting fed up with their lack of service and consumer care. Two tellers for a line of 20-30 people is unacceptable. Hire more staff, train them well, and stop trying to get people to leave so you don't have to do your job. I'm definitely going to be finding another location. It's not worth it to stop in City Centre when it takes you close to an hour to speak with a person. I've noticed this pattern at many TD branches in Edmonton. If this doesn't change, I'll move my service elsewhere. I would recommend others reading this do the same. For your own time and benefit, you're better off somewhere else.

Extremely disappointed dealing with Armaan S. who wasn't professional Business specialist. We were setting up business savings account through phone call and he didn't even check to see if we have received the important documents before hanging up on us. Later we realized those documents that needed our signature wasn't even sent. Had to follow up multiple times and never heard back even once from him. Went to another branch to try solve the issue and realized that the account was frozen due to insufficient information that was supposed to be submitted by Business Specialist!! It took branch manager to hunt him down to send us a copy of documents to get signatures. Then the issue still remains the same after our signature was submitted. This is unacceptable as the delay has been over a MONTHS which stop us from getting a credit card for business that prevent us to run the business. It's been a challenging time to run business especially for a small business! "Simple things" as how the business specialist call it, can't be move forward from a bank is unacceptable!

My fiancé had a large deposit put into our account by a very well known law firm sharing a building with this particular TD. The deposited was informed there would be no hold on the funds, as it was an in trust cheque. The teller deposited this cheque without having it verified or endorsed by a manager, and put a all hold on our account leaving us with $100 dollars until it cleared. After calling the bank all day, we were informed by the manager that they would release the funds if the law firm verified the cheque and to call back the next day, after numerous attempts and calls to have OUR money released we were confronted with a terribly rude and unprofessional call from the manager that resulted in being hung up on. We live across the country and have absolutely no access to our money. Promises were made and broken, and the customer service has been absolutely atrocious. Will be pulling all money from TD and going with a bank with a better reputation for good customer service.

FYI - Western/Eastern populace . . . Although late banking hours are a plus, convenience is overrated when it comes to what this bank has to offer Jane/John Doe! Their public relations and service practices are frankly obtuse. Communicating between departments is a concept that lacks. If you do not use this bank, don't start now. If you do, get the heck out of there and empower yourself to be free from their invasive, unaccountable and uninformed staffing. There are very long waits in line all day long regardless of the branch location. Many issues experienced with all banking staff and services!!! Bank elsewhere as soon as you are able either eastly or westerly,; keep clear of this financial institution - it just sticks! Hint: past staff members have shared there happiness because employment is NO LONGER at these banking institutions starting with {t} and ending with {d}. If there was a zero star, I'd give it to this branch of TD. I don't want to name names as I don't know if it's the bank or the staff I dealt with for my mortgage who's responsible for not getting back to me. I set out to buy a home last year & had such a positive experience securing a mortgage at the TD by Century Park, Edmonton. Sadly, I had to cancel that mortgage as I wanted to borrow more & had moved downtown. My new application was in March at this City Centre branch. Efforts to get someone to tell me the state of my mortgage application has been useless. It's now 5 months & no one has told me anything...especially not the staff I applied for mortgage directly with who I emailed & left messages with OVER & OVER again. This is a bank I've been with since I came into this country in 2012. Way to go, treating your customers like nothing. They must either have great customer base & don't need anymore or negative reviews don't affect them.

Tellers are usually nice, but when it's not busy I've noticed they take extra time checking things I didn't ask for and going through my account when I don't want them to. I'm usually just there to make a deposit. Even after I told her I was signed up on easyweb and recieved emails she insisted on double checking and I really didn't appreciate that. Last time she didn't say anything just went typing away for an unnecessarily long time and then tried to get me to sign up for an account I had no interest in and wouldn't really work for me at all. It really bothered me to have a teller all over my account trying to do things I didn't want or ask for and I just have to stand and wait for them to allow me to go on with my day.

This particular location is ALWAYS backed up with a massive line. Regardless, today I went and there was a man standing at the entrance to screen people, but he was over at the welcome desk chatting with the lady working there. I went to use one of the atms and it wouldn’t dispense my money, just kept making noises. I went to tell the man that was supposed to be standing at the entrance and instead of leaving the welcome desk to come and hear what I was saying, they both wanted me to shout to say the atm wasn’t working. Then all he says from across the bank is, oh it’s probably out of cash. Like ok? Take 30 seconds out of your conversation with your coworker to attend to a customer.

If I could give this branch 100 stars I would I came here after I completely was disrespected by another bank (not TD ) and only had ID not my bank card (as I left card in hotel room) These ladies at the teller treated me with upmost respect, like my home branch, in fact everytime I have come to this branch I have always been treated with upmost respect, and it is an extremely busy branch as well! The ladies smiled laughed with me chatted me up and made me feel extremely welcome and cashed my check no questions asked! Thank you TD keep up the amazing work as a customer I’m greatful for kind compassionate employees and service!!!

A bunch of slow, useless pajeets that higher eachother based on race and not merit. These foreigners take up high paying jobs that don't add any real value to the economy, but leech off of the wages of real workers through bank fees and taxes (yes the fed subsidizes banks). Our woke, corrupt government will never address the obvious race based nepotism because only whites can be racist. Send them all back, this Indian invasion is causing the majority of our inflation and the quality of student/manager/financial adviser (all parasitic jobs) we receive from their kind in no way offsets the damage to our economy.

Feb 14, 2023 12:51 pm Another customer and I, while waiting in line, watched two tellers joke about the customer in front of us, an older gentleman, after he left. They were not at all discreet. Unbelievably, this is not the first review on here about this type of thing at this branch. I can't believe that it is condoned. I've left messages for their Customer Experience Manager. Samantha has yet to return my call. Perhaps she is too embarrassed or does not think it is important. This was the most disrespectful and unprofessional thing Ive seen anywhere.

I went to that branch and made a cash deposit through the ATM machine, after 48 hours I noticed on my baking app that nothing showed up yet. I went back to the same branch to see what was going on. The lady at the counter wasn't helpful, when I stared asking more questions about where did my money go she told me that there's nothing she can do about it and that I have to leave the bank, she even called the security to kick me out while all I was doing was asking where did my money go. P.S until today they never gave me any update about the lost funds.

Do not open a personal or business account with TD bank. The monthly service fees are extremely high. Customer service totally treats you like trash. They do nothing to help you out at all. They are just out to get your money with zero returns. The merchant service is so bad they cut you off without you even knowing. With no excuse at all. This is hands down a terrible bank to deal with. Your business does not grown with this terrible company because they are to strict with loans and lending. That you will never get anywhere with this company.

The employees working at this branch do not have complete information on most of your request. I want there 3 times and for different requests like RRSP Home Buyer Plan withdrawal, Wire Transfer, etc. All of matters were not handled properly. Rrsp request sent to wrong department in td waterhouse. If you are an avaerage customer with limited anaytical skills than this is not the branch for you. You need to always cross check these guys with other branch employees to make sure they stand true.

The branch manager is NOT really qualified for her position, cold face, sorry, I didn't owe your money, DO NOT give me that face. not think for her customers, sorry is easy to say, but after you consider more as you have tried your best to help. There are tons of Banks in the city, if your bank does not have more competitive character, how come you want to get more customers, sending letters to each home not really help your bank survive in the world. Hiring a better manager is a key.

Went here to deal with an estate from a lost loved one. Started January 18, 2022 with an associate. That associate passed me along to another associate on April 8, 2022. Not sure why it took almost 3 months for someone to do nothing. I have called different times of the day, even broke through the menu system options (lol), calls go straight to voice mail and are never returned. The service here is worse than dealing with the government. Not much trust here!

Best TD in the city! Everyone I have met with have been so friendly and understanding. Especially the young staff, they clearly love what they do, and go above and beyond. They made me feel so comfortable applying for my first credit card, student loans, and TSFA. A great big thanks to Santhosh Balachandran and the other investment consultant I met with today 06/21/23 (I'm sorry I did not grab your card!) They were so lovely and deserve the best.

While at the ATM inside, I went to withdraw money before catching the LRT. While making my withdraw, I saw that there was a few hundred dollars more than I actually had. While viewing my statement, I went to the teller at the front desk and was spoken to in a very rude tone like maybe as if I did something bad while letting her know in an honest way of what happened. The teller also never thanked me at all. Weird sort of shtick.

Dealt with this specific branch for our resent mortgage. This is by far the worst bank we have ever dealt with. Very slow and asking for an insane amount of information. We have had mortgages with previous big banks and NEVER had this many issues. We are putting over half the house amount down and we have secure jobs. We are closing in 2 days and this branch is still arguing about our income. I will never deal with TD again!

I am impressed with staff Olayinka Olanrewaju she had a excellent costumer service. I was able to know what are the offers the bank for me. I only went there just to withdraw cash but while doing my transactions she mentioned to me the offers. Without her mentioning it I would missed it. She caught my attention for other services, now I'm working on mortgage renewal and be with TD. - TD bank City Centre branch

What I particularly like about this branch of the TD bank is that, they are a big bank, and they know it. There are usually a lot of people in the bank, or so it seemed on the day that I went there. The staffs made sure to ask everyone if they had been helped. They are always making sure to check to see if a customer has been helped or not. I think they have good customer service.

I wish i could give no star for this branch. This one has the most laziest staff ever ...even after seeing a v.long queue they never jump and clear it ..instead they just sit and serve like the queue is not at all visible to them or to any of the managers..its all the duty of the manager to clear up the queue. I think the managers here are the laziest so the staff.

Probably the most unprofessional banking institution in Edmonton if not Canada. The staff, more specifically the Bank manager Anna, is incredibly rude, unprofessional, not helpful in any capacity and just a horrible person to deal with in all . Stay away from this bank and the staff.

Big bank, but never enough tellers to handle the line up of people waiting. If your banking during your lunch may as well eat while waiting in line. If you can, just use the ATM. And have some good entertainment on your smartphone. They should put seating in the line too.

I went in yesterday for a simple transaction and the girl had an attitude for no reason? No manners whatsoever. I was so rattleed by her demeanor, I almost left without my change. I've been with TD over 10 years and this was the last straw for me. Not cute, guys.

I have been to many locations and this is by far the best. They serve you very quickly and efficiently. I am especially impressed by the representative named Mohit. He is very detail oriented, and goes above and beyond to ensure you get the best service.

Went there to get a bank statment for 2022 as I needed it for the tax, the teller told me they max they can provide is 3 months statment. For 12 months they have to request it and it takes 24 hours so she wanted me to come back the next day

The lady I got at the counter, her name was Immaculata, absolutely rude. Wasn't very polite, her attitude felt like she didn't seem to want to be there and when I asked for bills to be broken into smaller bills I got a lovely eye roll.
