okay, so yes, the classrooms are somewhat old (but some are blue with fancy white ceilings and are pretty nice) and the bathrooms too. we also do not talk abt the junior uniforms....(stuffy tunics) but, it's a pretty good school, and there are HEAPS of curriculars. rowing, fencing, debating (highly valued here), public speaking, drama, basketball, volleyball, netball- you name it- is here. there are also heaps of clubs! abt debating- we do premier's debating college as well as eastside. in eastside, we go against other prestige sydney schools (such as sydney grammar, sbhs, knox grammar, etc the teachers are pretty good, too the only thing is that the five minute break in between period two and three is literally no help because it's over by the time we get to our next class, so please, on the behalf of everyone else, extend thisss oh, yeah, starting year 7, you have to do two languages. they can a a combination of Latin, French, Chinese and Japanese (you have to put them in order of preference) I'm doing 2 languages atm You can drop these languages (i think in yr 9 though) anyway, pretty good school if you're worrying abt travel, I travel about 1 1/2 hours, and trust me, it gets a bit easier, don't stress would recommend moving before yr 10 tho, so that it doesn't get in the way of HSC stuff would totally recommend this school

Amazing school!! Would recommend if your daughter can make it in! The teachers here are pretty nice and they will help guide your daughter through her years! It might take you a bit of time to get here, it takes around 1hr and 10 mins for me (Auburn), but it is all worth it because the girls here are a supportive bunch and you can see them as your classmates, best buddies and competitors. They have a lot of extra-cirricular activities like: debating, rowing, fencing, hockey, water polo and more! The school for both academics and athletics which is also one of he reasons why it does so well! A few bad things about it is how there is NO AIR-CONDITIONING. Secondly, the prices for the canteen are pretty expensive but due to inflation, I guess it makes sense. If you're interested for more information, you can check out their website!

as soon as I got to this school the teachers started swearing at me and the other students threw sharks at me. not a fun experience. when I sat down for lunch miss connel came up to me and slapped me with a fish then did the macarena on the table with mr harisson while I sat there sobbing my eyes out. in maths class mr mcquillan bought 7 pizzas for the whole class which was good, but then he proceeded to eat them all himself! whenever one of us tried to take a slice he'd bark at us. to top it all off, mr wright entered the classroom in a shakespeare wig then ripped merchant of venice in half with just his bare hands while singing it wasnt me by shaggy in a terrible jamaican accent :/

this school is good and Mr Jones makes it better. I love walking into math classes knowing he will passionately teach us with a smile and is always happy to help with any questions even if it comes from tutoring. You can tell he is fervent in math and teaching. He is a very kind person and I love his iPad system because it looks so neat all the time and I also find it more interactive. Even when I walk in the hallway he is always eager to talk even if it isn't math because he's so nice. I've been taught by him since he came and i seen him become more confident in teaching, and I know he will only continue to become a better and best teacher.

Graduated from potato sacks woop woop (however that still doesn't mean I'm not a Bollywood potato ;D) ANNNNYYYYWAYYYYYSSSS now onto the actual review SGHS is a fantastic school which is not only an academically inclined school but also a school which is athletically inclined and focuses on you (BEE YOU). This is irrelevant but like can we introduce slurpees to the canteen bc why not (ye I am a fat unhealthy child who craves slurpees 24/7) Yep I'm done. Ps. No I'm not hehe ;D

like this review if you game in class EDIT: i hate this school with every fibre of my body and will hate it until the day i die Because there are too many people in the light rail we have to go to school 5 minutes early, maybe if u didnt each so much of our canteen food u wouldnt take up so much space in the light rail

The school comes highly recommended by me. And the very have blue review no criticism made of concerns going to be given I would say from 16 line that's 1969 74 and cancel love deferment but I wouldn't have gone anywhere else thank goodness I could Run a fast 100 metres

I hope from this post the teachers won't track us down using the technology they just bought with our $2000 pa, pp funds. Don't put your daughter in pain by coming here. The students are lovely, most are mature and humanitarians but teachers are another story.

This school is too Westernised for most Asians' taste. Really out of touch with virtually all East Asian immigrants' livelihoods. The main populace is ABC and ABC Desi, with the rare case of a Chinese-born person. Most go out of their way

super cool school apart from a few teachers, we get way less funding than sb but we don’t spend it all on sports. some corridors are mouldy and the canteen charges way too much. great school though with good classes, the rivalry with sb

My son went to this school and he was abused and left out of school activities because of his gender. I would like to review this zero but my son is very sad and now goes to north sydney girls and he is happy there i hate this

Best school, they have lots of hot waifus and anime boys, plus they have terrible taste in manga but I still like it cause I have bad taste too. What do you mean I actually did go there I swear-

It's a pretty okay place. Though the school is quite old and doesn't have air conditioners in the classroom, it's a good learning institute and helps students understand subjects well.

I attended this school for 1 day and left because I was being bullied for being a "guy" like bruh. Anyways I now some special ed school not sure y but hey its great.

Decent school, nice interior and extior, only complaint is that i got kicked out when i was trying to set up cameras in the bathroom... Big sad and SBHS sucks

Loved this school for my daughter. However always wished they offered Spanish as a language option.

To attend this school you must be Asian, Indian or an Aussie nerd.....I love those 3 demograhics!
