Rude worker kicked me and 4 friends out of the store for little reason ?! I hit my friend lightly with a stuffed animal they had in a large bin. Put it back right after. Just a reminder that I was not yelling, screaming, or breaking any merchandise. However when she saw this, she came up to us and said, “Time to leave”. I understand that maybe I wasn’t up to standard with ‘store etiquette’ but I wasn’t hurting or distracting any other customers or workers. If she had told me kindly to put it back I would have. Instead she said , “Stop looking at me like you’re a five year old and leave already”. She was blonde and she looked 30 or older, and I didn’t catch her name. It was at the Bayshore location. I was planning on buying a record player for my 15 birthday today but I completely could not. She even made sure that we couldn’t go back in at all!? Im never going to that store again. If Sunrise record people see this they should actually start hiring workers up to standard.

The staff are great, the selection at times leaves a little to be desired but you can usually find a decent deal on something every time you check their stock. Clean store, friendly staff, great experience, my constructive criticism is to perhaps get some staff or customer input on your ordering and I promise your sales would double. The Carlingwood location is also great, staff have been known to work at both stores and again, can't say enough about them being great to see!

Puts a sign on the door that says 15 minutes for people to take a break, then takes longer than 30 minutes for said break. When people are on a tight time schedule, and don’t have time to be waiting this is ridiculous. This store kept 3 people waiting outside waiting to shop.

My mother was sold an album that had a slit in the side. The album inclusions are missing. She didn't realize it and gifted it to me for Christmas. We're both very upset that they'd sell something that either a customer or staff member opened and stole from.

The retail store that is the anchor for Bayshore. Fun to search through at the non mainstream merch. Very enjoyable to search through new unused obscura. DVD, Blueray, official T Shirts, vinyl. New version of an old school record store post online shopping.

I still love a music store. My son has found a love of records and because of a limited budget had trouble narrowing his selection. He did not have to just settle for a limited selection. The staff we more than willing to help and converse about the albums.

Great store lots of movies and music and more. The staff will go out of their way to help you looked for a one specific movie or record,they have my studio ghibli movies I cant find in regular stores .you guys are doing a great job keep it up=)

In the old Aeropostale store (you can still see the old branding, funnily enough), this Sunrise is a nice sized location with a large Anime section, and a lot of variety to find what you need. Their organization for the names of artists can

A decent selection of mainstream artists. Still easier to buy online when searching for underground artist. We were in the store for over 15 minutes and I didn't realize there was even a sales associate. Terrible customer service.

Whoever was working at the Bayshore mall today is miserable and obviously hates their job. Was going in to buy a bunch of records but went elsewhere instead (odds and sods on Clyde Ave). Won’t shop here again. Rude service.

May as well fully remove the “metal” section since it’s basically a shrine to Metallica and Slipknot/other light bands. Also not impressed that the “metal” sign is still up and that was there was Dungeons & Dragons merch

Was in the store Sunday and i wanted to thank Chris for his helpful behavior that makes all the difference in a store like this one … we continue to shop because of people like him and their great clients service.

They have a pretty good and varied selection of CD's, Vinyl records, boardgames, and DVD's. Probably the best selection of movie soundtracks I've ever seen and that's counting when Sam's and HMV were still around.

Ridiculous high prices. Save 25-30 percent and order on amazon.ca with free shipping. Decent selection but some of the prices make me angry. Compact Music on bank has way better prices as well

Store is very clean and music and DVDs are nicely organized. The cashier last time I went was very helpful and recommended a bunch of new shows based on my purchase.

Small, cluttered store with inexplicably high prices. Chances are you can find the movie you want next door at Walmart for less than half the price. I know I did.

Been to this store before really nice people. Show up today and 9:02 am mall opens at 9am, and a sign that says back in 15 min is on the door.
