Purchased patio furniture plus many other goods last Monday for garden work. Am a complete novice but experienced exceptional customer service and attention from LAUREN. Her friendly, relaxed but professional attention was of great benefit. She took plenty of time to arrange delivery -- way out of Newtown area -- to help choose paint colour and prepared the tinting herself. She was of great help and a first rate ambassador for Mitre 10. Definite management material. My shopping was delivered that afternoon and courier man helpful and relaxed.

Mathew Mathew Mathew, best service I have ever had, knows about everything and can show you how to use it. Carries all my purchases to the counter and puts them in my shopping trolley. I am 58 years of age and a single women who has no idea how to fix things around the house and garden. I have not seen customer service like this since the 60's, this gentleman is a gem. Don't let this one go, he is invaluable. WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU COULD GIVE HIM A VERY WELL EARNED PAY RISE. Lovely friendly nature as well, this makes all the difference.

Hi there, I just wanted to get in touch to let you know what a fantastic customer service experience I had in your store yesterday with Brendan (I think that was his name!- young guy with short brown hair). I needed to hang a wall hanging and thought I would just get a couple of hooks to attach to the wall, however I was shown a really great way to hang it as well as having it fitted in store and the railing I purchased cut to size. Just discovered that this is the nearest hardware store to my warehouse loft. Very friendly staff as stated in other reviews. It's so unusual to have floor staff these days , let alone friendly and knowledgeable floor staff that give you the time of day. I purchased zip ties to fasten a box on my electric bike for dog sitting and some paint to paint a vintage camera. I could see there was a lot of stock so this will be my go to hardware store in future.

Seriously Great store. Best staff I've dealt with anywhere. They're knowledgeable, helpful, are polite and have a great sense of humour. They stocked what I was after and showed me straight to the product. The Store appears to stock almost everything that you'd get at a larger Hardware. Their prices are competitive. There's parking out front, across the street, out the back, everywhere actually. I'll not hesitate to continue to shop here.

The staff here are always super friendly and helpful. They listen to your needs and requirements every time. Prices are excellent also. I would prefer going here rather than the big warehouses just for the customer experience. On a side note, there is a young guy working there that must be a child of the owner.. he alone gets 5 stars. His service and manners are far better than people twice his age at other stores. I would like to say a belated and incredibly warm thank you to Liam. I came in needing wooden frames and Liam hand cut them in store for me EVEN though they didn’t offer that service. He ended up glueing and clamping them onto the paintings and letting them dry in store over night, saving me a lot of stress. On Mon 21Aug23 my Yr 12 daughter and I walked into the Newtown Mitre 10 in search of a cutting solution - Liam, the Manager, stepped up immediately offering his assistance. A poster - a HSC submission -needed to be precisely cut and Im so happy to give Liam the biggest wrap for his diligence in problem solving this for us. Thank you Liam. Matthew guided me to the right product (not the most expensive) for my job. That $15 saved me buying a whole new tap set for a few more years. Sunlite Mitre 10 have saved me hours of fighting Sydney traffic, just to buy a tap washer from that Big B Barn down the hill... plus their prices are as good, frequently better. Have been coming here for the last 20 years. They moved around King st and are thankfully still there. Ross who has been working there is a living legend. Whatever you need to know, he knows it. It arrived on time and when I came to pick up, one of the staff member offered to carry it to the car for me. I'm very happy with the service, price and smooth order process. Highly recommended!

I went twice to Mitre10 at Newtown, Sydney about two weeks ago. I was impressed with the cleanliness and the orderly layout. I was especially impressed with the dedication of the staff - in particulary the lady named Petey and the man named Oscar - who made a real effort to contact other stores to ensure I got the parts I wanted. Big as it gets and it on the heart of Newtown on king street you can't miss it they have everything you need and the staff are excellent at what they do next time your around drop in and see for yourself I bet you will be surprised at how big it is you still gotta remember that there ain't much mitre 10 shops around in the Sydney area.

Had a quick but efficient trip down to mitre 10 last week to purchase some hot pink wall paint for my daughters room renovations. There was a handsome young man named mani that helped me out with deciding colours, he was patient and sweet, my daughter wont stop talking about him, she's developed a little crush. 11/10 Mitre 10!

Came into the store with a very minor request and cheap item to purchase but that didn't stop the team and especially Liam going above and beyond to help me with my needs. Liam put lots of effort into finding a solution with enthusiasm throughout the whole process. Fantastic customer service and greatly appreciated.

I have had nothing but positive helpful staff and a great range of stock on the shelves every time I visit. You don't need massive warehouses carrying a million of the same thing. Sometimes more is less and this place is a perfect positive example that you don't need to be supersized in your shopping experience.

Best customer service. I had a problem with a faulty vacuum cleaner. The lovely Serena called the manufacturer for me, she then called me back with a reference number and I spoke with the manufacturer and I got a refund. The staff are always really helpful, knowledgable and nice!!

Real friendly team at mitre 10 newtown. I ordered a fire pit online for click and collect, and Ross was amazing in helping me carry this to the car (this was 25kg!). Petey was lovely at the cash registers. Overall, I was very happy with my visit and will definitely come back.

Helpful when you want to spend money, but beware their return policy as you will be treated as a second class citizen. If packaging is damaged or missing they will refuse a refund. I expect much better policies from a large company. Will take my business elsewhere.

A very good experience, I was in and out in under 5 minutes with exactly what I wanted. The staff were very friendly and helpful, Matt knew exactly what I needed and where in the store to get it, and gave me advice too. I even got a free beach footy!

Fantastic staff! The store itself is not always stocked up with a full range of products (due to its compact "metro style" size), but the fact that you can always find a helpful and knowledgeable staff member totally makes up for it.
