I spent about $100 on an order form here one night. I paid for two sauces (peanut and garlic sauce) to go with various things. The garlic sauce was put in with my order of wings (same container). I did not order garlic sauce for the wings, that was for my shrimp rolls. The sauce leaked all over the wings and because the wings were hot, the styrofoam container melted and garlic sauce leaked all over the entire bag of food including all over my shirt and house floor when I collected the delivery. Ruined my shirt, ruined my wings, made a very big mess and I didn’t even get to enjoy the sauce with my shrimp rolls. SKIP the dishes online says any issues with food delivery is the restaurant’s issue. When I contacted sukhothai, they offered nothing but to say that it was the delivery drivers fault because they “grab” the food quickly and are “careless”. I reminded the restaurant staff that they put my garlic sauce in the same container as the wings and that it shouldn’t have been in there since I didn’t order it to go with the wings and that the driver wouldn’t have put it there. Unfortunately sukothai offered nothing to make up for the fact that the wings, sauce and a few other dishes were ruined before arriving. And SKIP takes no accountability. . Careful if you choose to order from sukothai. No one cares about the quality of the food you receive and there is no make up for poor results. A shame since I’ve been getting food here for years. Also the restaurant is very pricy so disappointing to pay for ruined food. Also frustrating that ppl are pushed to tip SKIP before the driver delivers the food because in my case I apparently tipped a “careless” driver that “grabs” food from the restaurant

Sukhothai in Winnipeg is a must-visit for anyone who loves authentic Thai cuisine. From the moment you walk through the doors, you are greeted by friendly staff who provide excellent service throughout your meal. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with tasteful decor that transports you to Thailand. But what really sets Sukhothai apart is the food. The menu features a wide variety of Thai dishes, from traditional curries to stir-fries, soups, and salads. Every dish is expertly prepared with fresh ingredients and authentic Thai flavors. One dish that stood out to me was the basa red curry. This dish featured perfectly cooked basa fish in a rich and flavorful red curry sauce. The spice level was just right, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. It was obvious that the chef had put a lot of care and attention into preparing this dish. The menu also includes a range of vegetarian and vegan options, making it a great choice for anyone with dietary restrictions. And if you're unsure of what to order, the staff is more than happy to make recommendations based on your preferences. In addition to the great food, the service at Sukhothai is top-notch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They are always happy to answer any questions you may have and make sure that you have a great dining experience. Overall, Sukhothai in Winnipeg is a standout Thai restaurant that is not to be missed. With its good service, nice atmosphere, and delicious dishes like the basa red curry, it's clear that this restaurant is a cut above the rest.

I support this local family owned restaurant and the food is easily the best Thai cuisine in all of Central Winnipeg. Yes, it is even better than it’s local competition Bangkok Thai. What makes it so special is the hard working Mom and Pop in the kitchen preparing food while their Daughter manages the rest of the staff (her very own children, cousins, siblings, etc.) all the while, bringing a degree of passion into her customers’ experience. The tasty authentic meal truly is a bonus after being apart of their family by eating in the Sukhothai Restaurant! I first tried this restaurant when I immigrated to Winnipeg from the states and it was a really small place with not a lot of organized staff and the commitment they had to customer satisfaction was so above and beyond anything I had expected for a restaurant that it kept me coming back on a monthly (sometimes weekly) basis. Although it has grown into a large and upper scale dining environment, it is still just as customer oriented with the passion for the food and family. It is truly felt just as strongly now as it was in 2009, when I first stumbled upon the restaurant in my neighbourhood! I have celebrated a number of birthdays here and plan to continue with this for birthdays to come! They treat you like family here and nobody cooks better than mom!

Went to this restaurant last night after seeing many good reviews. Went to the restaurant around 7:00pm and restaurant wasn't full. We waited like 3 mins before we yelled to their kitchen because no one was at the front and all we hear is laughing and talking from the kitchen. Finally someone came out and seated us right at the front table where the door is. No apology was given. We ordered their pad thai w/ Shrimp and green curry w/ chicken. Pad thai w/ chicken and red curry came out... We looked at the waitress and asked that's not what we ordered... and she was questioning us, instead of checking her order sheets. These dishes were for someone else and ours were waiting at the kitchen. No apology was given again. Food wasn't good at all. Very mild taste and not sure why there are so many people saying food is amazing here. Seriously... Waitress never came back to check our food or to offer more water. We finished our dishes and waiting for our waitress to bring the bill. She wasn't there at all. So we had to ask another waitress and she went into the kitchen and called her for us. Long story short... 1. Service was super bad. 2. Food wasn't good at all. There are many better restaurants. 3. Not worth your visit or time. Please.

Wish I could give a higher rating. I loved the food and the service when I was at folk fest. Have come to the resturrest twice now, on our second visit we ordered little spice and and extra veg, they came out with a big plate that was through the roof spicy (tingle your ears kinda spice), after waiting longer then we should have for our waiter to check up on us, he then quickly replaced the dish as we said this was not doable...when they dropped off the new plate it was half the size of our supposed extra veg dish we had just seen earlier. The explanation we got when questioning it's size was "that's just how it's is" even tho we saw the extra veg size on our first dish that they brought us and there was a clear difference.. On both occasions they upsold us by asking what kind of rice we want to come with it, it was not mentioned that it was extra and didn't come with the dish itself untill it was time for the bill. Both times I had not felt like a valued customer, just someone to pay the bill and I'm only left with a bitter taste in my mouth. Definitely room for improvement!

This is my absolute favourite restaurant in Winnipeg. I haven't been in a number of years due to living away and COVID. Every other Thai restaurant I try across the country I compare to here and I've never found a match. COVID is taken seriously here. They screen for proof of vaccination and insist on hand sanitizing or washing at the door. Tables are adequately spaced. You can feel very comfortable here. The food is magical, honestly. My mouth is happy. Family favourites include the lettuce wraps, stuffed wings, kang phet soup, pad nut puck, pad thai, and mee krob. We've been ordering this for years and occasionally add in something new to try. We've been coming for 20 years, so we've tried a lot! Service is absolutely amazing. Johnny is an absolute gem and his memory of us as individuals is outstanding! Thank-you for keeping my taste buds happy and being something I look forward to (and crave) on my trips back home.

This is 100% the best Thai restaurant in all of Winnipeg. Their peanut sauce is to die for and every dish I’ve tried is better than the last. Awesome staff who always remembers my allergies and different order combinations. Haven’t had a bad experience here in the 20+ years I’ve been going (even back at their different location!). They did renovations and now can serve so many more people but even at its busiest time you never feel ignored and your food is always hot and quick to arrive.

Extremely disappointed of the customer service offered at this restaurant. It’s a shame that the food is quite decent for Winnipeg but the people over the phone who has taken our order over the phone would sigh each time we asked for price question belittling our humanity. Aside from the language barrier, these people will not apologize for their unprofessional behaviour. Mistakes our order and still have the audacity to sigh at us as if we are taking up their time. These people have no sense of customer service etiquette. especially the ladies working there and serving. The guys who waiters are more understanding and compassionate than the impatient waitresses. It’s a shame. Especially when the owner of this restaurant is running for the office as counsellor. You do not have our service and our vot

Went with old standby green curry. Picked spice level 5/10, which matched the heat I get from other restaurants that don't ask. There were some more unique items on the menu as well which I'd like to check out. Was curious about the pumpkin red curry, but got told it was butternut squash? Plenty of interesting drinks as well, though the two I ordered were a little lighter (ice/water) than I would have liked. Nicer atmosphere than most Thai places, at least at a medium price range.

Vegetarian options
My daughter is vegetarian so this place is always a place she comes to when we eat out. Most of their dishes have option for to choose your type of meat or tofu or just vegetarian.
Parking
They have their own parking lot behind the restaurant. Small but parking was never a problem for us on a week night.
Kid-friendliness
Lots is spacing between tables. Options to get no heat on dishes, kids always love the crab Rangoon and stuffed chicken wings!

Decor is nice, food is very good and service is great. My only criticism is food portions are rather small for the money we paid but I guess that's the price of doing business in the post COVID era. Will come back again to sample other items on the menu.

My go to Thai restaurant! Thai is my favourite cuisine. I have tried many thai restaurants we have in winnipeg. And this place undoubtedly serves the best thai food. Food is yummy. Go there for the food! You wouldn't be disappointed but be careful when they ask you for spice level from 1 to 10. Do not go higher than 4 unless u love chillies lol. Anything more than 4 is too spicy. To stay in the safe side order spice level 2 or 3 as at this spice level you get all the flavors and perfect spice and delicious food. This is a must try thai place in winnipeg. Do try the stir fry dishes with crispy noodles instead of steamed rice and their Tom yum soup is the best!!!

Was visiting the city back in late April and decided on some thai food. Papaya Salad: This one had a very weird taste and was super salty! It didnt feel like how its supposed to be. Totally was not feeling this one. The other two snacks, some sort of chicken wings and calamari was okay. The calamari came with a peanut sauce which was odd and no lemon. I would have preferred a different dipping sauce even for this dish specifically. The thai iced tea was as expected but a tad sweeter than I like it. I probably wouldn't visit again as I've had better thai food.

Enjoy the food but find the service is inconsistent. Returned for dinner after a recent and impressive lunch visit but was left disappointed. I found it a nice touch to have lime or lemon water often meant to cleanse the palate but did not receive the same on my second visit? We were Immediately asked if we had a reservation but there where plenty of empty tables throughout our night. Despite there being ample attending staff our waitress seemed hurried and inattentive? Comparing my solo lunch visit to this dinner time visit I'd have to say I was disappointed although food taste and price are most definitely in their favour!

We have eaten at Sukothai in the past and had good experiences. Yesterday, we ordered delivery through Skip the Dishes, and were deeply disappointed with the difference in quality. First off, one of the dishes we ordered came with rice. There was so much rice in the dish that there was room for very few vegetables--a much smaller portion than we've had in the restaurant for the same price. Secondly, two of us found hair in our food. Sukothai has a website, but clicking on "contact us" only sends you to the skip the dishes page, leaving no option to contact the restaurant with a concern other than phoning.

  • Ben

Currently finishing up my experience here as I write this review. We waited over an hour to be seen by a server (we had to go the hostess and even then it wasn't right away). This is particularly frustrating because it was not busy and multiple groups walked in after us and were served before us. Once we saw the server, she apologized half heartedly for the wait. We also had to ask for drink menus after the hour wait. The kitchen offered us 5 spring rolls to our table of 7 to apologize. Food itself was alright, but had the party not insisted on staying, I would have left without a doubt.

  • Stacy

I make an effort to stop by here every time I'm in town. Being from Vancouver, I have some standards that food have to meet! And this place has definitely met them. I've tried the Mee Krob, pad Thai, and green curry. The coconut rice is a must to go along with any curry, as it is cooked right, and fragrant. I've done both sit in (twice) and take out. First sit in, service was fantastic. Second one, not so much. Our server didn't come back to tell us we were twenty minutes past last call, and we had wanted a dessert. I'll still come back though, but probably just do take out.

  • David Jones

The food was excellent - I am not usually a Thai fan, but this was very good. Staff were friendly and efficient. Took Covid 19 precautions seriously (hand sanitizing required; took my temperature too). Lots of empty space in the restaurant due to the pandemic, yet it felt comfortable, not too empty or too full. The only complaint is parking. The road beside the restaurant was under construction, and while a rear parking lot does exist it is very small and cramped. Other than that, an excellent experience. I will return for sure.

  • Jon Mcpake

Well here goes, the food is average to good depending on the dishes. I have never actually had a bad meal here. On the negative side the portions are sized are on the smaller end for a Thai restaurant. Price wise it's a little steep, for what you get. I actually order for pick up ($60) 2 dishes and an app, and was provided with no rice for the 2 curries. A little ridiculous if you ask me. I would recommend you try Vanxai over on St. Annes. Food quality is on par or better, portions are larger, prices are lower..... Just sayin.

  • Kam Singh

It's authentic Thai food..with fresh ingredients. There's alot of vegeterian dishes. My favorite are the coconut broth soups. You can have the food very spicy if you like. Great for a delicious spicy Asian meal.

Service: 5/5 Food: 4/5 Food was very quick, but not as hot in temperature as I would have liked. Pad thai had lots of fresh bean sprouts and garnished nicely with peanuts and cilantro. Green curry was flavourful and had a nice variety of vegetables. Portion size is excellent but prices are 3-4 dollars too expensive in my opinion. I paid about $15-16 for each dish. Looked closed/not very welcoming from the outside but there was a nice ambience and dining room inside. Will definitely come back here.

Excellent choice for a taste of Thai food in Winnipeg. There are many Thai restaurants in Winnipeg, but this place by far has the best customer service, very good COVID-19 guidance (following protocols), great dinning set up (atmosphere and decor for in person dinning) and great food. Good portion size for individual dishes and reasonable pricing. We really liked the food and the overall experience and highly recommend to try it out (support local).

  • Benton Attfield

Not bad! Had the squid salad, chicken Pad Thai, and red curry with beef. Pad Thai was just alright, was a little more salty and less sour than better Pad Thai I've had. Curry was also ok. The squid salad was very good, just the right amount of heat when ordered as a 5/10. Service was very good. The ceiling lamps were quite dusty which was a little distracting hanging right above your table, but overall the inside of the restaurant is clean and nice.

  • Kurt Lew

It's been a few years since I've eaten here and I'm not sure what happened in the interim. We had spring rolls, which were bland, and mango salad, which was more filler than mango--mostly celery--and very heavy on the cilantro. The Pad Nut Puck was tasty but, again, probably a third celery. Highlight of the meal was panang curry, which was as rich and flavourful as I remember. Nicely spiced. Disappointed because I remember this being better.

  • Jessica Morris

Absolutely Love their food. - I have allergies to legumes- and they have been so accommodating, while providing me with safe food handling, and amazing dishes. I have ordered many times- and we have never had a problem with anything served. Curry is so delicious. The Pad Nut Puck is my favourite, But again- the care they take in preparing and serving the food for me is more WHY i keep coming back. I would recommend everyone try this place

The restaurant is located on Osborne and has a small parking in the back. The interior is comfortable and looks inviting. The service was prompt and courteous. The waitress made sure our glass of water was always full and came to ask us about the food. The flavor of food was okay. The chicken Pad Thai was not particularly memorable. I am more used to a dryer version that is stir fry, this one had lots of sauce.

  • Patrick W

Food, atmosphere, and service were all great, but I would have appreciated if the menu was more clear about which dishes were vegetarian, and which weren't. Every ingredient listed in the salad is vegetarian, but it came with a fish dressing that was not in the description. Everything else was amazing, but it sucked that I ordered a salad I could not eat.

Our first visit to Sukhothai, and we're really sorry we hadn't tried it sooner. Definitely some of the best Thai food we've ever had! We tried the Mee Krob, the Yellow Curry, Cucumber Salad (amazing! And blow-your-brains-out spicy!), and a bowl of Tom Yum soup. Everything was excellent, and the young lady looking after us was one of the best servers ever. We'll definitely be back soon.

  • Pediatrica Inc

Terrible service. We wanted to sit in the other room but we were told it's blocked out, even if people are already sittting there. When a couple of customers came in, they were asked if they have a reservation and they said no... they were led into the room we wanted to sit in. Way to get caught lying. Oh, and the food tasted exactly like Thai Express. Don't waste your time here.

This is the second time I have been to this restaurant, I was too hungry so I order the wrong dishes, it was my fault, I thought the dinner was ruined by myself and then the owner found I was upset, later she end up with offering me the right dish I want for free(second pic), changing my whole night mood! Best service I had ever meet in Winnipeg and definitely will back again !!

  • Eric Knobs

The lettuce wrap platter appetizer is huge plate and a huge value. The garlic oil that comes with it is sweet and savory and I wish i could get the recipe to make at home. Had the green curry rice as an entree and was equally delicious. Be aware of the spicy scale. I ordered a 6/10 and it was very spicy, the way i like it!

Nothing is perfect, otherwise this would be five stars. Parking out back; pleasant, well lighted with big picture windows. Our food was excellent, we had the lunch menu. I'm a big eater, but I was satisfied with just the soup and starter for $10. The menu is large, but not overly so. Everything seems to have a vegetarian option. Definitely recommending Suki Thai to my family.

Revisited this places in the first time in 10yrs (moved out of province) and was just amazing as I remembered it. Red curry soup and shrimp glass noodle salad all the way. One slight downfall is we were in the larger room and a party reservation came when we were half way through our meal and it was soooo loud and nearly impossible to talk amongst ourself at our table even!

  • Almeida D

I love the food here! It's so savory! They'll ask you on a scale of 1-10 on how spicy you want your dishes to be, and I recommend going for 9 or 10 if you like spicy dishes. The service is also very nice.

Called to place a take out order. Was told to order through Skip as there was a private event taking place at the restaurant. Skip order kept getting pushed until it hit 2 hours and canceled. I ate toast for dinner- thanks a lot Sukhothai. 3rd time something like this has happened. Won’t order again. Too bad because food is good but service is 1 star. You can do better.

Having lived in Thailand for 2 decades, I can confidently say this is the most authentic Thai food I have eaten in Winnipeg. The flavours are good. Food is always consistently good. Going there on a very busy night or day can leave you waiting very long for your order. Sometimes the wait is worth while depending on hunger level. Definitely the best Thai restaurant.

  • Van Deedo

Don't waste your time here. Two things consistent about the other reviews are bad food and worse service. To those who say the food is good, their tastebuds are shot. I'm Thai and the food here is nowhere near authentic. I should patronize my own, but I'm embarrassed by the quality of service and food from this so called restaurant. Stay away. You've been warned.

  • Marisa Cline

Sukhothai has always been my favourite restaurant because of their incredible food, but tonight they went above and beyond with their customer service! After skip the dishes didn't deliver our order and then basically ghosted us, Sukhothai quickly resolved the whole situation. So impressed with the service we received tonight! Best food, best service!

  • William

The one Thai woman working is a moron - onion and garlic allergies - explicitly warned them to take extra care, got a bowl full of onions, if you have allergies concerns goto Bangkok Thai on Osbourn instead they at least listen when taking your order. This was my third time giving sukhothai a change. Garbage service. Highly recommend going else where.

I think this place has the best Thai in the city. Everyone that I've ever talked to about this place feels the same way. Try to reserve seats in the old section as it's a little more comfortable and intimate, the new section which they added a few years ago is big and just doesn't feel as comfortable. My go to dish is Mee krob with chicken.

Efficient friendly service. Beer that was ordered was not brought to the table, but was not on the bill either so just a miscommunication. Food was good, not outstanding, but I would go back and try different items. Parking lot out behind is VERY small, and if someone parks poorly, like they did today, makes it tricky to back out of.

Best Thai restaurant in Winnipeg!!! Been going here steady at least once a month for years and it is incredible. High quality ingredients that are so fresh and everything is always consistent!! Not to mention an amazing family who runs it :) Crab Wontons, Tom Tum, Massaman, and Kang Karee are my favourite!!!

Such a disappointment ! Food quite good but expensive regarding the quality of the meals. Problem in the order and the manager was so unrespectful and unpleasant despite the mistake was on them. I used to love this restaurant but I feel that it has gone downhill. Though the red curry soup I got was good, the pad thai was very bland. Service was also very mediocre. The waiter was very apathetic. Would only go again for the lunch specials, not worth paying dinner prices there in my opinion.

I've only been a couple times but the food is fantastic. Simple fresh ingredients cooked to perfection. You can get your plates as spicy or as non spicy as you would like. They have a great inexpensive lunch menu and the dinner menu isn't much pricier. Highly recommend for a date or group meal.

Some of the best Thai food offered in Winnipeg, but I find it very expensive. That's why this place is a "sometimes treat" for us as opposed to an all the time thing.. I find that the service is consistently fine. Everything is clean (including the bathrooms), and the dining area is very nice.

Friendly staff were very helpful and accomodating for the large birthday parties that were going on. In both cases (a nearby group of tables and the table I was at) we had brought our own cakes which the staff helped with. The food was very good as well. Try the Thai Iced tea, you'll love it.

Edit: change your google hours One of my favorite spots for food. Delicious assortment of stir fry, curries abs soups. Also good selection of appetizers; rice rolls, spring rolls, lettuce wraps etc. prices range from $12-17 for main dishes. Soups around around $11-15. Friendly good service.

  • Tea Hee

I tried a few of their dishes. The best ones are the mee krob and the chicken kare (yellow curry). The other dishes are fine, but not on top of my list. The service is excellent and I would definitely go back to order the same dishes and try others.

Very good Thai food and atmosphere! I’ve been here about five times, and especially like coming here in groups of 6-10 people. There are lots of vegetarian options. Service is fast and friendly, but you can also linger and have long conversations if you want. Will come here again!!

  • Debbie Vanderburgh

We enjoyed the food and the pleasant, friendly service from our waitress and from the owner. This was our 2nd visit to this excellent restaurant. I particularly liked the Tom Kha soup, Massam curry, and the Pad Thai. We ordered a lot of different dishes and enjoyed them all! More

Awesome place! Very clean and well spaced out. They have a hand washing station at the door which was a nice touch. The food was amazing, the star of the show was the Tom Kha soup which just got better with every bite. Also the red curry was delicious. Will definitely be back!

  • The Fantastic Mr. Fox

BEST IN THE CITY. This place has hands down the best red curry coconut milk soup in the city. Literally everything on the menu is good, I've heard multiple people say this. The staff are absolutely great! Do yourself a favor, go there and get a mango smoothie. Your welcome

  • John Russell

Excellent meal. Every dish was flavorful and the service was excellent. The coconut rice, although a side dish is a stand-alone masterpiece. The place was very busy but ran smoothly and was very conscious of keeping areas distanced and sanitized. Definitely recommend.

  • Chris and Stephanie Ashley

The best green curry coconut soup in the city imho. Get it with coconut steamed rice. Large soup and rice serves 2 people. Their crab wontons are also excellent. Always clean, courteous staff and fast service. Free parking at back or on side street behind restaurant.

  • Labarynth Maze (LabTV)

Pad Talay and coconut rice need I say more? We have been here twice seated at the front of the restaurant. Food came fast but we waited for our bill for twice as long as it took to eat our food both times we visited. Will order take out when we return here instead.

  • Emily

I feel this restaurant is underrated. It's almost never busy when I go, but it should be! The food is delicious with generous portion sizes, and the servers are always very fast and attentive. If you like authentic thai cuisine, this is a great place to check out!

  • Jadyn K

My favorite Thai place in the city. It is amazing quality and worth the price I have been a regular customer here for years and not once have they let me down! great vegan and vegetarian selection and the most incredible Tom kha soup I have ever tasted.

  • Joshua Matthew Harris

I have yet to see a business with such attention and dedication to COVID compliance. Amazing food, as always, but the efforts that have been made to make customers feel safe is above and beyond what other establishments are doing. Bravo, and thank you.

  • Geraldine Fitzgerald

Fast, friendly services. Food was outstanding. My daughter's favorite place so we have to go everytime she is in town, which is no hardship. It happened to be her birthday this trip and they gave her fried bananas as her dessert, it was fantastic!!!

  • Kael Onchulenko

By far some of the best Thai food I've had. Perfectly prepared and an amazing dining experience. Highly recommended

Made a reservation more then a week in advance and they completely forgot about it. This was a surprise dinner and they just completely forgot about it and almost ruined the surprise. So the service was not really good but the food was delicious.

  • Val T

The food was quite bland. Having gone to this restaurant in Toronto, I expected the Sukhothai experience to be similar to my previous experience, flavourful, authentic and fresh. Instead it has left me searching for better Thai food in Winnipeg.

  • Dan P

Best Thai food I've had in the city! The green curry soup with coconut rice is the BEST. Had the absolute best food pickup experience I have ever had yesterday. They are so friendly and generous. Even got a free dessert for Valentine's Day. :)

  • J

This place was awesome a few years ago. Had pad tai today. Overcooked beef, couple sprouts, 2 stands of carrot and half a peanut on clumpy noodles that kept the shape of the take out container when I dumped in on the plate. Not worth OVER 17$.

  • Josh Kahanovitch

Consistently excellent, with numerous stir fry, curry, and rice dishes. Always comfortable trying something different knowing it will be stellar, though some staples include the crab wontons, the chicken stuffed chicken wings, and sticky rice.

  • Grace Mateo

Have been going to this local staple for the best Thai food in the city for many years! The service is always impeccable, the atmosphere is constantly upheld to excellent standards, and their location is legendary. Will always recommend.

  • Annette Alixroussin

We went to celebrate a birthday dinner, the food was delicious and fresh tasting! Great service, atmosphere and well spaced tables in this season of the pandemic. Highly recommend if you like Thai food. We definitely will go back!

  • John Vinar

Very good service and meal. Mine entree (Pad Phet)was a"6" on a scale of 1-10. Normally don't like too hot. Was perfect. On right in picture. Left entree was Pad Mee Kee Mao. Also called "Drunken noodles" Both were delicious

  • Tony Donovan

I love this restaurant. When my friends and I get together, we have vegans, vegetarians, people with celiac disease, carnivorous individuals, etc., and this restaurant can easily satisfy everyone in the group. Such a fan.

  • Kristina Elkins

Great Tom kha soup but a little pricey. Staff were nice! you have to enter around back

Not only is this food delicious and amazing every time I order it but they will also go above and beyond to fix the mistakes of skip the dishes. What a wonderful restaurant with great food and great customer service!

  • Richard Haugh

Food portion very nice. Staff very friendly and take the covid situation serious. They have a wash facility at the door and have you wash your hands and then take your temperature before letting you enter to sit.

  • Arnella Myers

Really great options and amazing food at a decent price. My only concern is the time it takes for service. While the wait is not obnoxiously long, it always takes some time before someone comes to take an order.

  • Ramsey Zeid

My experience at Sukhothai was amazing from start to finish. This family run business is amazing. From the time you walk in, you are treated like family. Amazing food, amazing service. Definitely recommended!!

  • Josiah Reimer

Fantastic restaurant. Great food, kind service. I would suggest if you're not very experienced in spicy food, to order everything at the level 2 spice. Definitely still get some heat but nothing overwhelming.

  • Ewelina Januszewicz

I absolutely LOVE their fish sauce! I once for fun asked them if they sell it by buckets, and they actually do! Besides that, they have the BEST thai food in the city. If I could, I would eat there everyday.

  • Bob Davies

Excellent choice for Thai food. Green coconut curry soup was the best ... Geta a side of coconut rice to add. You won't regret it. We got a couple of other dishes, but it was the soup that was exceptional.

  • Don Porter

The dishes are flavourful and the staff are friendly. Be careful with the spiciness though. What other restaurants would classify a medium spiciness is much spicier here. Be sure to ask if you are unclear.

  • Ema Santos

Best thai food in the city! Family owned, owner's are super friendly. Everything I've eaten there has been delicious. Salad rolls, lettuce wraps, red curry soup, mee krob are some of my favorites!

  • Kyle Owens

Delicious, fast, affordable. Great service and pleasant setting. I have yet to have a truly 'signature' dish that I would insist on having again, but I look forward to going back until I find one.

  • NZ

The crab rangoons, tom yum soup, stuffed chicken wings were really good. The mango salad and pad thai could be better.

Really good service. A little pricey and have to wait about 15-20 minutes for the food, but I go there every time to get panang curry and rad naar, huge portions and so tasty!! Worth every penny!

The service was good but the food was kind of slow , super busy at weekend . The coconut rice was super sweet and aroma we love this .

This is my favourite place for Thai food in Winnipeg. Authentic flavours with a good variety of dishes for very reasonable prices. Try the pumpkin curry, Tom Kha Kai, and the laap (larb).

  • Brandon Stuebing

My go to Thai spot in Winnipeg. About as authentic as you will find without travelling to Thailand. The green curry and coconut curry soup are superb! So much flavor with every bite.

  • Sejuti

We had their stuffed chicken, Tom yum soup, and spicy chicken grilled wings. Everything tasted extremely good and flavorful.
