Bought three 12 inch veggie sandwiches last Friday for 24 dollars with barely any vegetables in them. I was served by two new employees and all the sandwiches had three to four cucumber pieces, three to four tomato pieces and some part of sandwiches had olives, other vegetables was sprinkled in some part of sandwiches in a very small quantity excluding hot pepper and jalapeno which i don't put in my sandwich. The whole family complained that I just bought bread with so little vegetables in it. I wanted to go back and complain about it but I did not. Today I bought two sandwiches one was made by new employee and other sandwich was made by old employee. Old employee sandwich was ok but new employee sandwich had barely any vegetables. I told him to put more vegetables in the sandwich and he said the owner would be upset if he put more vegetables in it. He put three pieces of olives and said ok buddy what sauce you want. I told him to put more vegetables and the second new guy jumped into the conversation and started to argue with me. I told them i don't want to argue. I just want decent amount of vegetables in the sandwich so I don't feel that I am eating only bread and cheese. It has been more than 2 years that I am going to this subway every Friday and have the same order. All the other employees knows my order and never had a problem. I guess the new employees are told to put less vegetables in the sandwiches. Please ask for more vegetables if you see they are putting very less vegetables in your sandwiches. As for me I am debating if I should go back there or not.

first I want to say that I go to Subway very often however this is the first time that I've gone to this particular Subway. I ordered an oven roasted chicken salad and my partner ordered a steak and cheese sub. I noticed when the worker Olivier heated up my chicken, he used an old container that I could see had dried up chunks of oil at the bottom. It looked as though it was solidified bacon oil. Either way it was dirty and not to my satisfaction. Olivier did not seem keen to take our order or to make our order to our liking. He threw on very little toppings and we had to ask him for more which was very uncomfortable because we don't usually have to ask at other subways. The steak from the steak and cheese didn't look very fresh at all. My partner then asked to make a mocha coffee and Olivier's look onhis face was that he did not seem interested where my partner had to ask does it take a long time to make? Is it complicated? Once it was made, my partner went to get sugar and all there was was Splenda. We asked for sugar and Olivier said what is there is all we have left. considering we already paid for it we had to take it. We done tried it and it didn't even taste like a mocha it tasted more like a water down hot chocolate. Absolute disgusting! I've never had to make a complaint like this but I think it's something that needs to be looked into because if this customer service happens to us I can only imagine how much more people it would happen to.

The worst service ever!! They are unprofessional, un organized, slow, and they mixed up the order to go... we had to drive back, then wait in a long line up again??? We Could not wait! Because of all the lost time I had to leave and drive my friend to work. And go back....when I returned they offered me the returned cold sub??? Wow !!! & handled by another customer & no refund offered . So they made me a new one. I asked them for a refund also. Or the cold sub as well! And she said no they were going to keep it!! Plus she said no to the refund ...all you get is the new sub!! With no regard for my time , Gas and frustration?? I told her she knows nothing about the service industry or how to properly fix the situation!!! My time alone is worth way more than a stupid 5 dollar 1/2 sub.....never going back to that location ever. And most likely any other subway for a very long time. That WILL include my employees. Co-workers and friends and family! Some people have no Clue

It’s the worst place lately because of the stuff been hired there. I came to the store No staff was there I waited 15 minutes stuff She came from the back. She said was in the back didn’t even say sorry …I made order where she said she doesn’t have tuna, and she doesn’t have steak which is I don’t believe her she was cleaning and everything in the back. This kind of staff are killing all businesses… I left with nothing. The main reason are they’re international students fresh to Canada. They work next day from their arrival with no trainings nothing the reason why because they are connected to somebody here and they get the job with no requirement and that’s happening in every business unfortunately in ottawa .

Some of the worst service I’ve ever had. They treat you like they don’t want you to ever come back. Waited for 15min while the employee was flirting with the last client in a foreign language while my subs were toasted and air chilling. Then she asked for us and the three other people who just came in to pay in advance because her “system was resetting” so we waited even longer my food just sitting there toasted and air chilling. They didn’t even know what they wanted yet and she pressured them into paying. Then she finally put my three subs together. It’s crazy i been coming to this subway location since i was a kid over 20 years ago and I’ve watched it turn into this incarnation it’s a shame.

Rushed and rude service, even though my husband and I were the only ones in there. The second you walk in you can see the staff are visibly upset that they have to serve you. They put considerably less on the subs than other locations, things like not filling the scoop for the steak meat all the way, only putting maybe 4 slices of tomato on a foot long, barely any lettuce. If you ask for more you're treated like a criminal, but then they push meal deals when you get to the cash even if you say "just the sandwich" 2 or 3 times. When the sandwich is unwrapped its a giant mess and not even cut all the way through. All the tables have been dirty every time we've been here, to the point we've changed our minds and taken them home to eat instead.

WORST SUBWAY IN OTTAWA - Sadly..a few times now in store and delivery. Now I’m at the point of a bad review. Much deserved one. I paid 30$ for my sandwich from Uber eats and I got the coldest sandwich (this is being toasted). I called to let him know and he says “it’s not my fault Uber is late” My sandwich had like no steak in it..it had no extra sauce on it..thankfully I didn’t get the extra sauce because it looks like it hasn’t been rotated (OLD) and discoloured. If you want a soggy gross sandwich that tastes like it’s been sitting forever go here and waste your money only to throw it out.

Subpar experience - its very hit or miss and better in the morning. Compared to Subways like Merivale Mall (5 stars for me) I can see why this is the lowest rated one in my area. Ask for double toasted cos they put it in not long enough at all. Food is really subpar fresh, again, depends on the day and it can be OK, but I just wouldnt count on it reliably and want the web to know theres better options for Subway around.

Tried to purchase on the subway app which I have used multiple times. I attended the store to pick up my order however it did not go through. I showed the manager Arsh what was happening and even tried to order online in the store ( the app was having issues)and he was less than interested to assist. Buying on the app would give me 3 subs for the price of 2 subs. The manager refused to honour the deal and told me to call Subway or the owner. The manager might as well not be there if he is not willing to make a decision other than call Subway. We attend this location very regularly. We will never spend another dollar in that store. It's not about the free sub it's about people using their brains vs acting like robots.

I went to buy a sub and the service was awful. The female worker working there barely paid any attention when I was ordering and made me repeat myself numerous times. She threw the toppings on the sandwich as if to throw a tantrum and sometimes the toppings would spill onto the counter missing the bread. She kept trying to rush me and speed the process up by skipping toppings and sauces I want. I noticed she did the same thing for the customer before me. The sandwiches were fine but the service is absolutely awful.

The customer service is absolutely horrible. I ordered four sandwiches for curbside pickup and no one delivered jt, so I entered the store. There was only one person working and she was picking and choosing which orders to do first, not following the time orders were placed. It took an hour for me to get my food, where everything was done wrong. My food wasn’t what I ordered. They put the wrong sauce and ingredients, I didn’t even bother going back. It isn’t the first time either. They’ve messed up my order almost every time.

Just wanted let the owner of this place that he has lost another customer, The employee looks like he hate customers, didn’t look at me once and was speaking to another employee in Hindi and didn’t give a rat A.. about the customer who pays! I have been a customer of this location since 2012 unfortunately not anymore. I have to say what happened to Canadian friendly customers service? Unfortunately this is the reality. Hope Subway head office reads this and take action.

Dont bother ordering it online to pickup. Ive done this a bunch of times and almost every single time its never ready when its supposed to be. Or just give them an extra 30 mins past whatever pickup time it says. Food is decent but they cant follow directions properly unless youre there in front of them. You ask for toasted and its not toasted. You ask for extra sauce and they dont bother. You order a specific drink and then guess what they actually gave you.

Wow, such terrible experience from this location. I came in and the 2 ladies didn't even greet me. They were talking amoungst themslevs. Ignored me. I finally said hello loudly to interrupt there chit chat . They also made my sandwich wrong. Bread went in the oven, but was NOT toasted. Bread also seemed really old also. Her name was Sukhdam. Terrible. I don't know, Barhaven is getting worse and worse. Sad. Avoid this locations and spend money elsewhere.

I got a foot long and asked the server to cut into two halves instead of keeping it a footlong and she charged me for the 6inch sub twice. I tried to explain her but she was not able to understand and kept on arguing. I asked for no tomatoes but I got 4 tomatoes in my sub! Poor service!! There was a big communication gap - should be given proper training.

Subway become my go to place for my lunch mostly 3-4 times a week. I only eat sub with veggie patty, but they don’t carry it all the time! It’s 4 out of 10 situations I get my order, most of the time they’re sold out. I wish they have it in stock all the time!!

A poor experience. The food is fine, but the employees at this location can't stop their conversation to do their job The entire time I was dressing my sandwich they spoke amongst themselves with other employees hidden in the back. I was not offered a combo. They turned on the debit machine, said nothing and shoved my sandwich towards me- and carried on with their chat. It's just rude.

Ordered off Uber Eats. Extremely dissatisfied. It took them TWO hours to prepare just one chicken teriyaki sub. When it arrived, it looked like a mess. Even when trying to eat it, it was cold. I will never be ordering from this place again and I strongly suggest you avoid it as well.

Ugh! This subway always isn’t up to par. But today, we ordered 2 foot-longs and they drenched them in mayo and dressing/mustard. I even asked for light Mayo and dressing. It made the bread soggy and then whole sandwich was just a soggy mess. The lettuce was also bitter, which means it’s old. We had to throw the subs away after a few bites. Avoid this location!

Store states that it is 24/7, but this is the second time I’ve tried to go to the store after 0200 and unable to purchase any food due to the cash unable to process any orders for more than half an hour. Staff very friendly and respectful, but unfortunately the cash is always out of order overnight.

It's usually clean here. Sometimes there's some dirty tables. Bathrooms are immaculately clean. Floors are tidy. Behind the counter is clean as well. The staff are very attentive in my opinion and are friendly as well. I love coming here as subway is my favorite place to eat. I've eaten at other sub places and can't find one that even competes.

Absolutely positively disgusting. This place Is beyond “gone down”. I was served rotten vegetables and my blt sub smelt like fish. I kept asking for the fresh ones that were covered up beside the rotten ones and was blatantly ignored. I mean…absolutely disgusting. I will never eat here again.

I just went to the subway at 3777 Strandherd. Worst ever. I had a couple bites of chicken terriaki and chucked it out of the truck.The female worker toasted the sub for 30s but the bread didn't get toasted, it was raw and soggy. Ive never had such an experience. I feel robbed.

Was served by two very friendly workers this late evening! I'm not sure if one of the boys was in training, but I appreciated his attention to detail. Every step of the way he made sure my sub was being assembled to my liking. Great customer service!

Who sells chicken that is 51% soy then sues the CBC for bringing the news to light then dropping the lawsuit cause they had no case. Subway is the absolute worst. I'd recommend starvation over subway anyway if the week.
