Great Church! Amazing Clergy, who take their relationship with God with sincerity and conviction. They work hard to make the church a place that's not just another church but a place where one can witness and live out their faith. The Anglican church varies from other Christian Churches in that its experiential. You look for the Spirit and the Lord and become engaged. It's not overt, but it calls you deep into a relationship. One cannot give up. It isn't obvious nor instant nor easy but you use persavere. God calls you. We are caught up in our own world therefore we can't easily have the intimacy we desire. This is an Anglo Catholic Church ( high Anglican). The depth of experience is as much as you want it. Remember you must engage and seek/ ask. It won't come to you but it will knock.

Two weeks ago I returned to St.James after a fifteen year absence. Before, I was a member for many years, but my history there is rather troubled and tangled. Back to now, the liturgy and music are as wonderful as ever. I know we are in a pandemic, and i understand the importance of social distancing, etc., but this still does not come across as friendly or welcoming place. Also, i was followed by another man into the washroom. I don't know why, but it did feel a bit creepy. On my way out after the service one of the priests did greet me, but didn't seem particularly interested in engaging. Don't know if I'll return or not. I have really been harmed by church.

One of the oldest churches in Vancouver. Services are beautiful. A gorgeous old Interiot that shows its years well. A beautiful small chapel at the back of the church. Services in the Anglo Catholic Tradition. All the priests are wonderful and an outreach program for street in DTES is run by Fr. Matthew . A wonderful place to visit, a fantastic church home, well worth checking out. Dont let the location deter you from experiencing this very very special place.

Now this is rare to give a 5. I give it because of the Staff and Priests as well as a lovely, old charm Upper Catholic style church. This church is in Vancouver Canada. I recommend looking them up on internet. A definare 5 for me. Btw the church is Anglo-Catholic

Very friendly, open staffs and its interiors is lovely. Been to this church several times and have to say its simple, easy to adapt and not too congested in seatings. Very comfortable and peace of mind and calming. Missed Church! Thank You God!

My heart does sink on days when I see such low turnouts for Sunday. I pray Jesus leads me to this beautiful house of God more often; that I may work ways for my local brothers and sisters to follow as I do... Amen.

A nice bit of old school architecture near the core of Vancouver. The building is clean and well kept. The only drawback is parking, it is limited but we found a paid parking spot just across the street.
