I've always had great service here. My fiance and i came here for a haircut. But unfortunately they dropped the ball today. My fiance came for a haircut and we we're told to come back in half an hour and they will cut his hair. We said okay. Left, came back but this time another lady was behind the counter. I said hi we were told to come back for his hair appointment. She said did you make an appointment with your name and number? I said no. They didn't ask us for that information. We were told to come back and we could get his hair cut. We even asked where the other lady was and she told us she's busy with another client. We kept telling her we were told to come back for the haircut but she wouldn't accept it since we didn't leave a name. It's not like we were told we would be squeezed in. We were told to come for the haircut. Then we were told we would have to wait another half hour to be seen. We said no. And walked out.

Singletons is owned and run by Kittson Investments who are group of businesspeople taking advantage of young hairstylists that are trying to get into the business. If you really want to help or support the people working at a singletons, ask if they're willing to cut your hair at your house or give them your contact info so that they can still get a hold of you after they're locked out of the computer system by head office as soon as they give their 2 week notice. Also, several former employees are currently getting screwed by the CRA because they didn't file a T4 for short periods they worked for singletons at the start of 2017 because singletons never mailed them out. They posted them on some website and never informed non current employees. Many basic hair salons have tight margins, but singletons doesn't play fairly and I ask you not to support them with your business. Thanks.

I would give this place a zero if i could. My experience was terrible. The "hair stylist" i had probably never cut hair before. I asked for a simple hair cut that any hair dresser can do without issue. She spoke very little english and when i complained about the length she cut it at she proceeded to pick up my hair off the floor and put it up to the existing hair i had left on my head and said to me this is what i asked for. I will never go back here again. A normal blended hair cut with a scissor finish had now turned into me fixing this mess myself with a pair of trimmers at #1. Very horrible and uneven. Clearly didnt care about the customer. Very poor choice if you plan to come here.

Have had my haircut at this location for more than 20 years. Today I had the absolute worst cut over that time. They failed to do most of the usual things like checking the neck line a with a mirror, trimming the side burns, ... . Spent 15 minutes at home cleaning up what they failed to do. Seems like they are more intent on selling you product over a quality hair cut. Unfortunately my last visit.

Jennie is an excellent hairdresser! She used the hair products on me that I use at home (AG) and layered my hair the way I wanted. I even liked the way she styled it and I'm fussy about that. My only complaint is that I have short hair and I was charged for a "long hair" haircut (I didn't realize this until I got home and put my glasses on to look at the bill).

Came here for the first time and I am sure will be my last. Way too expensive for the level of service they provide. Also, a variable price model for a service? $25 for an inexperienced hair stylist and $31 for a "senior stylist". A simple 15 minute clean up for $30? No thank you!!

I am a regular customer of this salon. Got my hair cut from several hairstyles. So far all of them are good and professional. However, if your stylist is a senior stylist price is more than 35$ with taxes for a man hair cut.

Worst haircut ever. My sons hair is uneven every where. Could not even get the hair over his ears even on both sides. Poor kid was so upset. So today I have to take him somewhere else to have it fixed . Will never go back

I Called, they had an available appointment time that worked for me the same day! The salon was clean. My hairdresser was attentive to my needs and vision, very collaborative. I ended up with a perfect haircut.

Can't speak for women but this is definitely not a place for men. The lady ruined my hair. She did not know what she was doing. I had to wait almost a year to grow it all back and get the style I wanted.

Love my hair! Had so many compliments. The staff and my stylist went out of their way to give me an amazing customer experience. Great service, nice atmosphere, and I was very well taken care of.

Had an appointment. Showed up for it. Then someone comes in from off the street and because they hairdressers know the people, then make you wait another 30-45 min

Hui is an excellent hairdresser. She gave me a very nice hair cut and colour which fit my face and style. I really liked it and highly recommend her to everyone.
