After making a purchase I realized it was more expensive than expected, I looked at my receipt once out of the store and saw a 13% service charge. I felt a bit duped as I spent 20 min in the store and never saw the tiny sign about the service charge. The makers are paying rent to the shop and then the shop is quietly charging a significant fee to the customer. I like the idea of shopping local but will find another way.

Wonderful shop with a wide array of gifts - for others or yourself - made by local artisans. All sales go 100% to the makers which I love. Stock changes regularly depending on who's displaying their wares so it's fun to see what's new from week to week, but there's always a nice selection of jewelry, soaps, candles, apparel, art, food items, and generally cool stuff. Shop local!

I love shopping local and supporting small businesses - this shop is both. So many local artisans have their goods on display. You can get candles, original art, sustainable living items, body care and so much more. This will be my new “go to” for gift giving and anytime I want to treat myself.

I first became aware of this business when I received unsolicited anti-Semitic messages from one of their “makers” online. After a very minimal amount of research… most of this stuff isn’t handmade. Save your money.

My favorite place to shop in Kits. A delightful assortment of locally made arts and crafts. There is a nice variety of different goods. This is a great place to shop for a unique and meaningful piece.

Lovely store. I could spend $$$$$$ here but chose to control myself and only got some amazing Vancouver prints. Will definitely be back for more locally made items worth a visit.
