I went in to get fuel on Friday evening after work. I filled up, and went to pay. The debit machine was working very slowly and timed out, so the cashier ran it again. I opened my mobile banking app to see if I was charged twice, and I was. I showed him the dual charges, and he told me to call my bank, as they had to be the ones to reverse it. No problem, I get in my car and drive off on hold with RBC. The bank tells me the store has to do the refund but that they do see two transactions, one two minutes after the first. I call the station, the guy is super rude and condescending, refuses to give me any information at all. Won't give me a manager's name, won't call a manager because " They won't pick up ". Can't help at all. I'm beyond frustrated by this point so I call Shell customer service. They can't help me either. I ask to speak with a supervisor, Johanna tells me there is no supervisor or manager there. I ask to speak with the escalation team, she transfers me to Christy. She tells me no one can help me and that she will come in on her day off to fix it. I say okay and head home. I call the station in the morning to speak with the nameless manager - I am connected with Ahmed. He tells me to call my bank, because he can't help me. I call RBC *AGAIN* and get the transaction numbers. I call Ahmed back with them, tell him to check his reconciliation from the night before and that I'll be by in the afternoon to get my refund. He gives me a 1 800 number to call. They're closed. There HAS to be a simpler solution to this. Why are there no policies in place? *EDIT* I got my money back - then was called a week later by a store employee telling me she was fired for giving me the refund I was due, and that the store was calling the police on me for theft. Shell corporate got the area manager involved, who called and I suppose told them to stop threatening customers? I haven't received any sort of apology for all the trouble and threats.

I've been coming to this location to wash my cars for years. Normally a good experience. Today's experience did not follow suit. I had an issue and when i brought it up with a staff memeber all I got was arguing about my issue telling me I'm wrong. I told them I didn't want anything other than to bring up my issue. My experience wasn't the same as it had been in the past. I wasn't looking for a free wash or anything. I just wanted to let this person know about this experience compared to my other visits at this location. This person continued to argue and then tried to get in my face. They said something to me in their language so I can only assume it wasn't very nice. This person then disappeared. At this point all I wanted to do was leave. So I quickly rinsed my car, paid for the wash and as I'm trying to leave this person comes out and is following me out of the car wash still arguing and at this point yelling. This person then stood in front of my car as I was waiting for traffic to pass so I could leave the lot. I honked my horn and then had to drive around him to be able to leave. Will definitely not be going back after being treated like that.

So previously going to the car wash I felt like I was getting ripped off. So on my last visit I took note of time entering the carwash. Instantly I noticed time was different from ticket and time on dash board. (Only by 2 minutes). I proceeded to wash my car. Rushing because I know they charge by the minute. 90 c a minute. From when your ticket is printed. Once finished I went inside to pay and was told I was in there for 20 minutes. (Okay what ever). When I got back to my car it showed me on my dash board that I was only in there 16 minutes. Idk I realized I'd save more money at a different carwash that doesnt charge by time from when you entered. I don't trust this place

I had brought my car to this car wash. I was starting to use the hot water when I noticed it was spraying out wax and not the water. I brought it to the attention of the Woman inside and she gave me a hard time and even rolled her eyes at me when I asked why it was spraying wax instead of hot water. She said she would not do anything but would get the manager to call me, I gave her my info and have yet to hear back from this place. TERRIBLE BUSINESS. It has been over 3 weeks and I didn't even get a call or any sort of explanation. Go to the Shell on Henderson and knowles. They treat you way better.

I walked in to buy a drink. When I walked in 3 young men were standing in a circle behind the counter, all talking to each other with their backs to me. None of them wearing shell uniform or had name tags. I didn't know if they worked there or were robbing the place. They didn't acknowledge me, or say hi. I got my drink and went to the front counter. When I put my drink down to pay, one of them walked around from the counter and cut in front of me and used the pin pad to buy something with out even saying any thing. Very rude. The service has really gone down last 4 or 5 months.

This gas station sells good quality gas. Majority gas stations will buy high ethanol gas which attracts moisture to gas tank and hense gives start issues for seasonal equipment. If you have a boat, seadoo, skidoo, lawnmover, etc get gas at this station. I can confirm my seadoo had no issue starting with last year gas leftovers from this gas station where as I would always have that problem getting gas elsewhere. Ethanol should be prohibited in gas in any miningful quantities. There are only a handful gas stations in Winnipeg that has ethanol free gas.

paid with my debit card at pump, authorized $ 40.00 gasoline pump did not deliver gas. went into station to get gas or money back from station employee .was told I needed to retrieve my money back from shell canada. it took 4 months to return my money back to me. employees and station owner very rude and did not want to deal with the problem. will never purchase from that station ever again.

Sometimes with big chain companies, you lose that personal touch...but I had an AMAZING experience here!!! They provide the perfect experience from car wash to gas and snacks. I go out of my way to fill my car and get my snacks here, they always have something funny to tell me and I always leave smiling bigger than when I came in!!!!!

To the 2 geeky boys that work Saturday lunch hr if I want to heat up my chicken and quinoa once a week bcuz I don't eat the garbage u guys do Just let me no need to be rude and ignorant. Miss the older lady that was usually there she was nice! I'll think next time before my hubby or I spend our money at this shell

Just a quick in and out carwash, time is money, no courtesy 4 minutes to park or pay like it used to be. Your paying for your time in the building. When are they going to move the cartons away from the drive-in door and un-wind the tangled hoses?

Never go here for the car wash. First of all the cashier can’t count to save their life. I wash in the car wash from 6:32 pm and I paid at 6:38 and they charged me for 14 minutes. ARE YOU ON GLUE. But of course the thing where u print out

Excellent experience. Actually I visited SUDS CAR WASH and the cashier was out of the world "ANGEL". Helped us after hours to get our car Mat's washed as my kid had thrown up inside our truck. African gentleman was super nice. GOD BLESS

I used too actually work for shell and in the training they make you watch a short video on how their gas is processed and they are by far on top of the game.. research literally proves why and how shells gas is better and cleaner then

I like the fact the car wash is based on time, no coins required. But it's tired. I washed my car and the sprayer wouldn't stop spraying soap even when I had it set on rinse. Service inside was slow and poor.

My tires were unexpectedly low, so I stopped in to put some air in them. $1.50 just to turn on the air compressor, which I ended up paying twice because they didn't run long enough to fill all my tires.

Lovely gas station with the most helpful staff I've ever seen. One of the employees (I believe his name was Ramon) even helped me at the car wash when I was having some trouble! 10/10 would come again!

Staff is always good. Good wand wash. Located in a slow traffic side street with easy access to main roads. Car wash discount coupons with fuel purchase. Has air pump as well.

service is good, it was not possible to pay by card in 2023. They ask you to pay in cash, it’s good that you don’t have to pay in silver or gold like in ancient times.

Great place for a car wash. $9 Monday to Friday. They have recently upgraded all their equipment in the wash bays. Super soft brushes that won’t scratch your vehicle.

Pumps are always out of receipt paper or give the message “receipt inside”. If I pay at the pump I shouldn’t have to go inside and wait in line to get my receipt.

The carwash is a rip off, vaccum is TERRIBLE barely has any suction, ended up paying $24.00 for a job I had to finish with my home vaccum. Thumbs down for me!

Good place to get gas, car seams to run better on it then coop. Just suxks you have to prepay but service is really good so makes up for it!

Only 4 pumps available and when this location is busy, the entrance/exit becomes very congested and can be difficult to navigate.

Fill up and wash my car here regularly. Usually don't have to wait to get into the car wash and staff are always friendly.

I go here for the car wash. They charge your for how much time you spend on washing your car. The rates are very good.
