Full of sharks and hopeful punters. Footy is now mitigated bad behaviour on and off the field, which is nice. Who knew so many people went for Cronulla? Poor things. They might do quite well this year, if Fifita can hold on to the ball ;-P... Excellent venue, loud and rowdy, the fundamentals of getting in and screaming go sharkies still remain, even if the stadium is named for an online betting company. Yargh! What have we come to? Gamble responsibly, or better yet don't gamble at all. Just another tactic to keep your life together... Always loved the footy for the family values it promotes and things like our 7 year old niece playing in a between halves game of rugby league. You should see her run! It really is a game for everyone!

I played rugby league there back in 1984 with Joeys JRLFC as a team we didn’t win the grand final, but were runners-up. The team would practise at Kareela Oval after school hours in the afternoon, and then during the winter play at various sports ovals on the weekends. I was the worst player in the best team with not much confidence. At the end of the grand final my team were given two trophies and two pennants one from St Joseph’s, and the other from Cronulla Sharks. There was an overnight stay at Gerringong with the team. I could have continued playing rugby league, but due to my slim build I left. I do respect rugby league as a sport, and my team was reported in the Leader for the grand final, so it was a significant event.

A fabulous family friendly ground where you can bring your kids and watch a game of footy. We stood on the Family Hill which is marked as alcohol free on the ticket, although there was the odd person enjoying a beer or a glass of wine on this hill, but it was all very civilised. Don't come here expecting health food, the options are limited, mainly pies, hot chips and hotdogs etc. But that is part of the magic of coming to watch the football. The grounds are well kept and there are plenty of seats in the stands if you wish to purchase seated tickets. We had a great time on the Family Hill.

Dear Management, I would like to enquire about the Cronulla Sharks plans in thanking all the supporters who couldn't make your "Fan Day" yesterday. There are many supporters that would appreciate it if Cronulla Sharks could organise something along the lines of a ticket tape parade throughout The Shire so the players can acknowledge the supporters who aren't fortunate enough to be able to attend "Fan Day" . The Sharks must realise they have an obligation to a community who have supported them through thick and thin for the last 50 years. Kind Regards, Gerald McMillan

Watched my 1st game at Shark Park on Sunday May 1st. Was a great day. The only complaint I have about this park is that I was sitting in the general admission chairs, there is a small rise in the concrete behind these seats which I tripped on and fell down the stairs, first aid was excellent but I think there is a need for this strip of concrete to be painted with bright yellow so that it is noticed. After my fall there were several other adults and children tripped in the same spot as me.

I love going to support my team, and I know that the ground is under construction, but please more ladies amenities, we miss a lot of footy lining up, while we watch the men walk in and out....good talking point while we wait, and waiting to get a drink don't get me started. I know our ground is not near as large as others, but come on, there must be something that can be done, would be interested to know if other clubs have the same problem...UP UP

Went to the Sharks v Sea Eagles pre season match. So far my family have been to the ground 3 times with the security guards kicking us out the GA seats every time we have visited. This time it was unacceptable as there was plenty of vacant seats to the left of the stand and, we were told the club didn't want to open this part of the stadium. Sure enough 15 minutes after we move more people sat in the same spot and they were allowed to say there.

I have attended this park for many sharks games and various events and have always loved attending. Staff are always helpful when any concerns arise, the layout of the stadium is easy and the atmosphere on game night is great. The size of this stadium is big enough to host a well sized audience whilst also being small enough to appreciate the intimate nature of a smaller NRL field. Every seat is a good seat and get you close to the action!

  • Holly Corpe

This is a nice ground to which you can bring the family. The 'family hill' is alcohol free, which is good of you want to have a family focused night. Lots of engagement and activities for kids in the family area too. There are also plenty of bars, if you're keen on that. Not a lot of food options. It's mostly pies, hotdogs and that kind of thing. Nothing fancy. You can get coffee too.

Great game, great venue - but parking and leaving the area by road sucks! The police close off roads to (supposedly) speed up the traffic flow, but they are so incompetent all they achieve is even worse congestion. If you need to get out of the area within 2 hours of the end of the match don't go to Shark Park, watch it on TV instead.

  • Amanda Mckenzie

Came here to watch JT’s last game of NRL Footy in New South Wales. We lost however, how often do you get to watch a Future Immortal of the game play one of his last matches. The amazing thing though is that Sharkies supporters were very hospitable, despite knowing full well that I did not barrack for their team. Good People …

  • Lachlan Steele

One of the most crowd friendly professional sports fields around. The crowds can sit or stand really close to the field from any side of the ground. A wide variety of seating, our if you'd prefer you can find a spot sitting of standing on one of the ample grassy slopes that ring the venue. Great atmosphere.

  • Jason Peters

As a Parramatta supporter I walked away not happy with the result. However, what a great ground to watch Rugby League from. Also great facilities, food outlets, easy to get in and out of the ground, more than adequate security and well behaved crowds. Gives suburban grounds a great lift. Well done to all.

  • Kevin Tuite

Absolutely disgraceful to be standing in a que at a sporting venue for over 45 minutes for service of alcohol, only to be told what was a 4 beer service, has been cut back to 2 because, they have kicked off,you won't have any worries with RSA.or intoxication, will watch at home next time.very embarrassing!

  • Local Tourist

Shark Park is an awesome place to watch the NRL. Great family atmosphere, fantastic pre game entertainment and always a vocal crowd. One of the better NRL stadiums to watch the footy when it comes to atmosphere. The sharks football club has done a fantastic job in creating a great night out.

  • Chris Eves

Up Up Cronulla. Has to be the best of the smaller stadiums to watch NRL. We love the hill on the northern end of the ground, the kids love to play on the hill while we watch our beloved Sharky's run round. Upgrades to the league's club should be unreal once finished. Great work Shark Park

  • Brandon

Usual type of stadium. Parking is a nightmare and you often have to park a few blocks away and walk... Which at the end of the games is nuts with people all over the road. The actual seating, toilets and drinks/food are as expected. I think the ticket prices are actually very reasonable.

  • Greg Ward

Great experience last thursday German spicy Kransky with sour kraut onion ketchup and hot english mustard in a tasty fresh bun was great The way the Club paid tribute to Paul Green was excellent Then My beloved Sharkies went on to absolutely smash the Cowboys Well done Cronulla Sharks

  • Edgar Badawy

Not being a football fan or sports of any type can't tell you much about the Sharks but I'm sure the club has many pokies that sometime ruin people lives and destroy families, it happened to me. There is a large car park at the front that was free to use when I was there.

  • Lachlan Steele

Really great place to watch the sharks play. One of the best stadiums for atmosphere. Everyone is so close to the field. Though the facilities aren't great. They need to increase the number of toilets, food and alcohol vendors to reduce the massive queues on game day.

  • QUeSTIONABLe

I have been a massive fan of the cronulla sharks since my early childhood, it's a fun afternoon out to watch some good football, its a shame the food costs so much and the stands are relatively small but also make sure you don't drive there parking can be problematic

  • Martyn Williams

Went to watch the Sharks for one of their last matches at the ground before they begin construction on the new stadium, which is sorely needed as the amenities are showing their age. Usual range of food and drinks. Toilets are crowded and a mess after half time.

  • Heavy Buddha

A lot like Brookie, Shark Park is a small stadium with two small stands. Paid parking is non-existent and getting out of the area by car can be a nightmare. Best to wait 20 minutes or so for the police to reopen the road outside the ground

  • PJ O'Connor

Nice and close to the action so I can't imagine there is a bad seat in the house. Facilities are a bit dated and location makes it a bit difficult to get to the ground but found the bus services back to Cronulla after were great.

  • Tony Fox

Development underway - Woolooware Town Centre Stage 4 - constructing a new public precinct around Shark Park with shops, premium hotel, commercial tenancies and luxury apartments. Shark Park will be a centrepiece of the project.

  • Joy Young

Went for a concert which was excellent. As everyone probably knows the whole area is in the middle of renovations an new buildings. Staff were very helpful, didnt eat there, was told food not up to par, so ate elsewhere.

  • GEORGE BROUSSOS

I went to watch Sharks v Manly and I thought if you're a Sharks member you can park opposite the oval but you couldn't had to park a long way if someone has difficulty of walking it will make it hard for them

  • Kyi H

Great stadium and atmosphere but they need to remove those speakers that are in your view all the time and faster drinks service. Lining up for 70min (no exaggeration) isn't acceptable. Otherwise 5 stars

  • Dan Clarke

Home of the mighty Sharks! Pretty much no parking with construction going on but they have free busses to/from Woolooware and Cronulla train stations. Short beer queues too compared to other grounds.

  • Hayden Paul

Good stadium for watching footy! Easy to get around. Managed to get a park 200m away. Beer options pretty average, need to follow Lottolands lead and get some decent priced flavourful beers there

  • Ian Wills

The home of the mighty Sharks! Still under renovations and the eastern stand is a bit of a mess. Food options have improved although finding something to eat before you go is the best option.

  • Philip Pollock

The Sharks home ground might not have the best looking stadium, but it is the best ground to watch footy at. Extremely suited to families and a great place to have a beer and watch sport

  • kirrin pedron

Must admit not the best ground to watch footy at. Parking atrocious getting out of the ground not the best. I hate to say it because I love watching footy at suburban grounds.

  • Seggie Chetty

Best place to watch our favorite SHARKIES NRL club.Once a shark always a shark.Love this place n spend time with good mates. Ex Natal shark. Going to this place since 2004.

  • Raph

Came here for my first Sharks game. Didn't disappoint the feeling was ecstatic when the sharks came onto the field. Will come back when there is another home game.

  • Scott Edwards

Nice ground with good atmosphere. The hill where you can drink is quite small and they shut the bars 20 mins before the end of the game which is rediculous.

  • Andrew Heald

A wonderful local stadium to watch footy at. There are plenty of food stalls/bars to service everyone & a wonderful set up ground with a massive family hill

  • susan jedrzejczyk

Never stepped foot in this place wouldn't not a footie fan, overpaid and too much media for bad behaviour. Too many doing wrong making rest look baaad

  • Adam Ambler

Can see a big update to what we had 2 years ago? Car park still being built. Food, toilets are better placed. Same outdoor seat and old TV as before?

Nice stadium. Good seating positions. Great drink choices and above all amazing Sharkies crowd.
