If I could give zero stars I would. I pre-booked my parking online for Saturday night at 7:45pm. I arrived at the parking station to find there was no parking spots left as more and more cars were streaming in. I pressed the button for help on the boom gates as the pay station was closed at peak hour on a Saturday night. No one answered. I was at it for 5mins. I then had to google the phone number for emergency’s in the parking station because I didn’t know what to do. I finally got through to an assistant after 10mins who told me that the parking station was full and for me to get out. He would not offer me a refund and proceeded to tell me that just because I pre-booked may parking doesn’t mean there would be a spot for me. Not only did I not get a refund but I was 45mins late for a restaurant booking because I had to deal with this and drive around Sydney CBD trying to find another parking spot on a Saturday night. I will be going to NSW fair trading because these crooks think it is ok to take your money and not provide a service. Pre-booking secures a spot, that is how it works in every other parking station.

What a terrible experience. I was extremely disappointed with this parking facility. We had pre-booked and paid through Secure a Spot for Saturday 24th April evening at approx 6.45pm. We were able to enter the car park using our pin number but we found the carpark to be completely full. In addition, there were many other customers in the same position so it was very difficult to manoeuvre around the garage. Several other patrons were parking in non designated spots making it even more difficult to get around. It took us 30 minutes to negotiate our way back to the exit. By then there was a long queue waiting to get in. By the time we found another parking garage we were very late for our restaurant booking and the whole experience had ruined our special occasion. I will never use this carpark again and I am now reluctant to prebook through Secure a Spot. There is clearly no control over the number of cars being admitted and no one at the carpark to assist.

Absolutely horrible carpark, $69 for a minute or 2 over 1hr 30mins. This was due to the fact that both of the machines upstairs were broken and did not let me pay by card, neither the tap and go or insert worked. It took the person on the call end over 10 minutes to actually start talking and when they did it was utterly unintelligible. We ended up just walking away from the machine as we couldn't understand a single word. The parks themselves are weirdly scattered around and it is very weirdly laid out, it is also very dark inside. Also note "Secure Parking" is their trading name, it does not imply that their parking garage is secure by any means. They also state they won't be held liable for any damage to your car, as "Secure" is "just a name". If I'm paying $69 for my car to be kept off the street, it'd want to be secure. Would not recommend at all.

Ticket issuing machine was broken on the way in - was waived through by the attendant, then when trying to exit was kept for 15 minutes while the attendants continually messed up trying to let us pay. In the meantime all of the angry people behind us started coming up to complain, however there is no room to reverse or get out the way or a second gate. The attendant got all of our details including name number and email address but still wouldn’t let us get out so we could pay on the move. They tried to make us call a number to pay on the phone which cut out before it let us enter our details so they had to call us to then do it again... then after all that we had to buzz again and wait another few minutes before they answered and finally let us out?!?

Daylight robbery this place. If I could give them no stars I would. Had a meeting in the city so I prebooked an 1 hour slot at 8:15AM - 9:15AM which cost me $32.10. I was running late and arrived at 8:30. Left exactly an hour after I arrived at 9:30 and was charged an additional $40 for "exiting the car park outside booking conditions". They advertise that prebooking saves time and money, but what they don't tell you is that if you don't leave at the precise exit time, you get charged extra. I would have never prebooked if I knew that. I only paid $32.10 for my original 1 hour booking so where does the $40 figure come from? $72.10 for an hour of parking is a joke.

Only reason I am giving 1 stars is cause of the location and the little customer service. Honestly not going to ever use this car park again way too expensive especially when I arrived 10 mins past 5pm just to get the night park rate and the ticket time stamp said I arrived a 4:56 some may say not much of a time difference but $40 is definitely a difference so expensive (they should definitely fix this as it’s a nice way of ripping). After calling the help lines on the website and the pay station multiple times we got no response and than after 20mins of sitting at the exit gate did we get help. Thank you for the help eventually but won’t be using again.

Do not park here! Absolute robbery. Wish we knew before we booked dinner close by. $50 for just over 1 hour is disgusting. These people should be investigated. Clearly capitalizing from being the only car park in the area. With Covid affecting the hospitality industry, we really want to support this industry but it makes it really difficult to head out to this area knowing parking is minimal and this car park take advantage of you. Secure parking should be ashamed of themselves. The restaurants in the area need to get on board snd sort this issue out otherwise they will be losing many customers.

Nightmare of a place! $49 flat rate on a Saturday night for two hours. When coming back to leave tried to pay on card but their mechanics don’t take card. If you do want to pay by card you gotta go to the operators booth on ground floor. No one was there! Tried to buzz to talk to something but no one wouldn’t answer. Drove up to see if you could pay at the boom gate like other places but they don’t take card. Only cash! Had to go back out on the streets looking for a atm to get cash out to pay. Do yourself a flavor and park in one of the many other parking places in the city.

  • Tom McCormack

The machines either don't work or don't want to give you a receipt for business expenses. Pressing the button gets you someone in Manila to help you which then requires an exercise in extreme patience. I ended up having to use their phone system to pay by credit requiring the keying in of my CC details all in the name of getting a receipt. Also they let you in even if the car park is full so you have to double park in a drive way but still pay $79 plus. Stay away from them and go elsewhere. If they could work out how to cut costs further I'm sure they would.

  • Sally Shaw

Car park is $89 for 2hrs or more Mon-Fri!! Attached is the current rates. Does not state height limit on entry except for trucks entering. My vehicle is 1.9m and I didn't hit anything so I would guess that's the height limit-ish. Yes, when you initially enter, if you turn right then right you'll hit a dead end and have to do a 5 point turn to turn around. The layout is very odd and it's difficult to see what is a car spot and what's blocked space that can't be accessed. Does not recommend for daytime parking.

  • Mellissa Petzler

We were issued a faulty ticket and told by staff to go through and phone the intercom to be let out. When we went to leave we were told to phone through and pay via the phone as for some reason we weren't able to pay with card on the machine? We called the number to pay and it hung up on us. Took us about 15 minutes to pay and we were trapped in front of about 20 other cars. There was almost a fight in the carpark due to the incompetence of this company. Don't park here it is dangerous.

  • Beatriz Edmilao

Do not recommend. When we went to pay the machines didn’t work and when we went to buzz in for help, the operator wasn’t too helpful. We spent 10-15 mins trying at the (2) machines then decided to try just paying at the boom gate - after not getting anywhere and wasting more time. Ended up being charged $79 which was $10 more than we initially were meant to pay. Tried buzzing in again but no one answered... Eventually gave up and just paid the $79 as we just wanted to get out already.

Absolutely appalling, I paid $98.00 + a $2.45 surcharge on pay wave, totalling $100.45, your rate for the any time of day over 2+ hours is $89, I was parked in there for 2.5 hrs, this is criminal, this is robbery, they exceed there own cap of $89 also a different rate for the weekends, the ticket machines have signs next to them, outlining costs and charges, yet they have exceeded this. DO NOT PARK YOUR CAR THERE, FOR YOU MIGHT SUFFER HIDDEN EXTRA FEE'S

  • Anna Lignou

This is a terrible organisation. We parked there on Saturday night to attend a restaurant and paid the exorbitant price of $50 for a few hours when most other car parks charge $15. We lost our ticket and they refused to charge us the flat fee of $50 but instead charged $90. All they had to do is look at the camera to see what time we entered. The person on the phone Brije refused to budge at all. Don’t ever use Secure Parking they are extortionists.

  • Mat Froggatt

We were locked in your carpark along with many other customers last night (Sep14) due to your payment system being down at both your payment machines and boom gates. Situation quickly deteriorated when the person on your intercom refused to let cars leave or offer any reassurance. It looked as though there was going to be a fight triggered by people's anxiety until someone forced open the boom gate so we could leave. Disgraceful....

  • adam winkworth

An absolute rip off! $84 for slightly over 2hrs on a Sat. afternoon. I will never use this car park ever again. Pricing not clearly displayed. Ruined the rest of my evening feeling that I'd been taken advantage of. Happened to another couple. Little did I know there there are other car parks within several hundred metres charging as little as $15. I have a real problem when the cost of my parking exceeds the cost of my meal.

  • wi2923

Never come to this place again. $72 for an hour and bad design of parking with sudden dead end without a sign. Thanks for ripping me off! I thought Secure Parking may have the best price than Wilson but after this experience, I change my mind. I regret it so much I park in there! Not even worth 1 star at all! If you want to make a huge profit, at least put the pricing before the entry, so people not falling to your traps!

  • Sai Ganeshan

Paid by cash at the machine which wouldn't print a receipt and was asked to pay again at the gate. Had to use the call button and when they finally responded you could barely hear what the attendant was saying before the gate was finally opened for us. Several cars before us and no doubt after us appeared to have the same issue. Hopefully more people see these reviews before parking there.

  • Catherine Smith

Absolutely disgusting service. Spoke with the most condescending carpark attendant who basically said the issue was at my end funny as i managed to set the account up on my phone and when trying to book parking which i have done twice i had to get them to set it up. Wake up Secure Parking your system isn't working and your staff are rude

  • Emilia Ukhanna

I prebooked a week before for Melbourne Cup and paid $89.00 and I arrive there 10 minutes before the entry time booked ,they don’t allow me to enter and once I entered the car park there was no parking bay available and when I buzzed the attendant they tell me Sorry the car park is full ,New management was their excuse.Very disappointing

  • Michael Barter

These guys charged an extra $89 on my credit card unauthorised and no one is there to answer at customer service. Had booked spots online for a work function. They wont even answer my emails or phone calls. Don't give them your credit card details unless you want the same to happen to you. I only wish i could give a zero rating.

  • National James

A broken carpark. You can't pay, you can't get out. There's no staff, nobody on their intercom, nobody on their emergency line. Basically you're locked in unless you have someone who can hold the gate for you. We had 5 cars waiting for 30min can't work out how to get out, can't pay, can't get help.

  • Christian Kiss

Worst place to park. Poor signage. Unclear rates. Total rip off. Was charge double rate on weekend after returning 5-10 mins after 5pm. Signage doesn't indicate this at all just shows a standard $42 rate which in itself on a weekend is a rip off. Ruined an otherwise good day. AVOID!

  • Hamish Petrie

Not only is this carpark a rabbit warren, the exit gate technology had an error & customer service took what seemed like an eternity to manually let me out. The secure parking app is also a useability disaster versus Wilsons seamless Ux, hard to beleive poor app usability in 2023

  • Parnesh Chand

Parking spots are spacious but the ticket machine is a hit and miss. Very expensive. Yet to try the ‘book online’ for the cheaper parking option. On a few occasions I have had trouble claiming my parking through work because the machine does not print a receipt. Frustrating.

  • Fiza Schulz

Does not even deserve a star. Very poor customer service. Can’t book online due to website issue, all they can tell me is wait a couple of minutes then try again. Other than that, no help. Waste of time. If support can’t help why are you there. Hopeless!!!! Never again.

  • Dharmesh Patel

Pretty shameful. I had booked some parking last year which we had to cancel because of covid. I received credit in exchange, however despite my several emails and credit was never refunded back to my card. In the end, it is now showing as expired. What a scam!

  • Liana Kaloumaira

Honestly this parking is shocking, booked online and when I got to the car park I was shocked to find that they allow cars to access the car park whilst the car park is at full capacity is just frustrating, ended up having to park next to a cement pole.

  • Rochelle Michell

Was charged $57 for 10mins on Good Friday. Went to buy easter chocolates from one of the fre shops open. Sign out front only had "From $9" no other rates listed. No signage saying flat rate. False advertising. When I called the intercom to

  • John SYD

I understand you pay a premium top price for this top location, however, it is appalling and despicable to pay $71 for 2 hours on itself, but add to that, where my car was parked on level B4 it reeks like urine, dry p*ss, literally foul,

  • V N

Very dangerous to drive in. The ramps are narrow and do not have blind spot mirrors. Especially driving up/down ramps.. so just have to pray that oncoming vehicle has their headlights on! Also, the rates are ridiculous to say the least...

  • Karla Oliver

A massive rip off!!! Parked there on a Saturday at 2pm thinking it was $44 and got back to my car at 7pm and was charged $88. When I questioned it the phone attendant was super rude. Would never park there again. Absolutely disgusted

  • Lee Tee

The fact that I was scared off by some of these ratings is a bit crazy. It is so close to everything and when we went there was ample parking and you have to expect the price for being so close to the Wharf or don't drive in, simple.

  • Leenie Mayfield

$90 to park for 2 hours on a Sunday! OUCH!! The other reviews are right, signage doesn't let on what amount you'll pay so they sting you hard. Something should really be done about this, it's just not right.

  • John Cincotta

Please be careful and read the faint grey print informing you that the "Night Rate" is $20 for online bookings only. We paid the flat rate of $44 for night parking after 5pm when expecting to only pay $20.

  • Eddie

Machines never work. Call the operators and they never pick and when they do 20 mins later they refuse to let you out. When you can't pay for your ticket. This hasn't happened once. More like 3 times

  • Tim KaPe

So called 'Early Bird' deal is a joke. Other competitors give you a timeframe from earliest entry in the morning to latest exit in the evening. These guys charge you the full fee if you try to leave

  • Fatima Yassine

Not the best experience. One lift crowded expensive Pay machine not working No aircon in waiting area or lift . Only advantage close to wharf oh btw a surcharge as well. Using Apple Pay

  • Ali Jabein

OMG those parking rates. $29 minimum charge just gettingthroughthe boom gate. even after hours. someone need not deal drugs to get rich quick without putting an effort. not recommended

  • Abby McGrath

Outrageously overpriced and the man doing payments was rude and condescending. You’d think for the price they charge they’d at least have some decent staff. Do not use this carpark.

  • Vijay Raisinghani

Car park was full and they had no way of letting customers know at entry...waste of time. Car park is so poorly designed with sudden dead ends and not much space to turn around

  • Andras Kocsis

On last Sunday, we parked on Shelley street parking. The first 3 hours we paid $42.00 and after without we moving the car we paid another $42.00 for 1 hour . Thanks guys

  • Vini Japiassu

Ridiculous pricing!!! $49 flat rate for Saturday?!? Just ridiculous Update: I have booked online with Secure Carparking and paid$13 just 450m away from Barangaroo

  • Parissa Ghanem

Wow! I was planning to use this secure parking tomorrow night. But from what i have read it seems like it is a nightmare to park there. So, won't be using it!

  • Matthew Boulton

$42 on a Sunday?! What a joke. There's a place one street back for $19. Also- and this was the worst part- not advertised into you're well underground. Avoid

  • Rebecca Whitby

The price you make people pay is ridiculous, i was mortified $49 for not even 2hrs is ludicrous, i wont be recommending your parking station to anyone!!

  • ja.

This was a super confusing car park, you had to drive around + around + around in many circles to get here. Nice service though. Expensiiiiiive too.

  • ayo gimenez

Do not park here unless you are a walking atm machine. 49 dollars for weekend parking! Go for the wilson parking on Erskine, $20 flat rate.

  • Nicola Franklin

Paid for my ticket at the pay station, then had to pay again at the gate. No response on the call button to resolve the issue.

  • Nadege Essoh

If could choose 0.5 start i would. Worst parking ever. No car slots available, $49 for the night fee too expensive, no signs

  • Craig Smith

Good location in lower Barangaroo - but is quite expensive particularly at night when many car parks lower their tariffs.

  • Noel Davidson

Easy to access, plenty of parking, I found it very reasonable compared to many other nearby sites, no issues at all

  • Robin Crisman

It is far cheaper to park at Quay West and take a taxis on the weekend than to park here. Prices are exorbitant!

  • jennifer harris

I was ripped off there. Won't use it again...bought my parking on line and then had to buy a ticket. Ripped off

  • Rita Zofrea

Doesn't show price when entering it as it is covered with a black poster. Do not ENTER. Total rip off. Scammed

  • Amy Dalton

Very helpful. Cheap weekend parking. Finds you locations to park near you with the various rates listed.
