Pretty dissapointing experience. We went for my mums birthday. Right from the first order for a drink, the waiter was not interested at all in serving us. We went for the set menu B for four people, my parents who are frequent here asked if we could exchange a chicken dish for a beef dish instead, after a few back and forths they were dismissive and said if we wanted a beef dish we should order additionally, we went ahead with it anyway. The food was ok, not fantastic, but ok. There were about 3 other tables and they did not bother to turn on the AC even with their open kitchen, we thought this was down to a covid reason, but they eventually turned it on. After dinner, we were the last table left and they turned the ac off. The kitchen staff and service staff decided to join the dining area and lounge around while we were finishing off. The waitress who was clearing our table dropped a glass onto my dad when clearing, she did apologise numerous times, but she was handling more than she could lift. My parents love this place, but I was just very dissapointed with the whole overall experience. This place feels like they do better with takeaway than a dining experience. I would not choose this place to celebrate a special occasion.

Season Thai is a great local restaurant in the suburb of Gordon, stylish and cosy with an appetising mix of chef and traditional street food from the land of smiles. Staff is very welcoming and accommodating, do you want a window table? No problem. Or perhaps a larger setup for a group of friends? No problem. They will take pride in making your dinner memorable. The food is delicious and the owner is not afraid to try new recipes to entice you with new sensations. I speak highly about this place because I never get bored with the food. And the food is always consistent at high quality. Dishes are cooked as per original recipe, not mixing with local vegetables like others do. Sometimes you can also meet the humble and generous owner (Kun Act, or Mr. Act for Australians) who will greet and chat with you a little, sometimes about his new recipes or genuinely be interested in you. Highly impressed, from a regular patron.

I had a quick lunch here recently and had a mixed feeling about it. I ordered Thai omelette + rice as part of lunch menu and it was quite good despite the rice was a bit hard. Price was quite good value for money, especially for Sydney North Shore area. The place's ambience was not bad, the place was spacious and quite bright. However, the customer service from staff member needs to be improved. I don't like the fact that a waiting staff was very keen to take my plate away right after I finished my last spoon of rice. They seem like to drive away customers from table as soon as possible which is not necessary since there were many empty tables anyway at that time. You can pay by credit card with a surcharge of 1.65% which is quite excessive compared to other places which usually add between 1% to 1.5% of surcharge.

It was one of my worst experience today. 3 of us visited the Season Thy Restaurant today for lunch. They bought my entree first, but I had to wait till my friends get theirs. It was very unpleasant. Than, they mixed our food and by the time we find out, we already eaten from it. So I got what I didn't wanted. Then we realized they don't split the bills. They wouldn't even give us a separate amount either so we can somehow put together the amount we own. This is a new trend!! Oh we don't split the bill. Everything for our guests....... by the way the restaurant was empty so they can easily loose a customer..... When I said I'll never come back again they said it's ok. There is no customer service anymore unfortunately.

I have to give one star even though this restaurant not even worth for one star only, as this restaurant is the most disgusting comparing other Thai restaurants in Sydney. To be honest, if there are a minus score I will give a minus score. We love Thai food, but tonight, we ordered deep fried barramundi fish with apple salad for our dinner, but we got a cold, smelly and rotten barramundi fish. Furthermore, the customer services terribly rude and unprofessional. I complained about the smelly fried barramundi and being ignored and just grabbed my money without apologising. A terrible place and definitely we will not be coming again as we has wasting money, time and feeling to enjoy our dinner night.

Food was ok, then we felt sick later. The worst part of the experience was I can’t believe how rude the waiter behind the counter was when I was paying for the meal. I asked for a take away box after paying for the meal and the guy behind the counter was extremely annoyed and told me off for not asking prior to paying for the meal. He then charged me an extra dollar for 2 take away boxes. I was so disgusted with the way I was spoken to that I left the leftover food at the table and told them to keep the money and that they had lost a customer. NO CUSTOMER RESPECT,NOT COMING BACK.

UPDATE July 2022 It was busy on a weekend during lunch hours. We all loved the lunch dishes we ordered - great value, authentic and tasty! ‐------------------------------------------ This place came highly recommended by a colleague. I was here for dinner and the dishes were well presented and tasty. I was told their lunch menu is good too. Generally eating out means way too much sodium intake than my liking, and this place was the case. The dishes were lovely going in, but towards later the meal, I drank a pitcher of water probably due to the hidden sodium in the sauces.

I love Thai food and often order from Season thai when I am around Gordon area. Some of there dishes are amazing and so flavourful. My recent order was Veg cashew nut n chilli jam noodles and veg panang Curry with rice.Plus extra fresh chilli on side($0.50) Noodles were good, nicely charred full of vegetables but I couldn't taste much of chilli jam flavour in there though there were heaps of roasted Cashews. Panang Curry on the other hand was full of flavour and went very well with rice. No complaints, I will be ordering again, will try some other dishes.

Food is nice, but service rushed. We hadn't finished our entrees before mains were brought out. Although restaurant says it closes at 10.00pm, we were kicked out at 9.15pm while we still had plates on the table - no offer of coffee or dessert "because we close at 9 30". Door to Pacific Highway was "jacked open" from 9.00pm (11°C outside) while a bloke changed light globes, so it was cold and noisy. Floors were being mopped from 9.00 pm too. Pretty awful dining experience, actually. Who closes at 9 30pm on a Friday night. Super disappointing.

Strongly not recommend. Very disappointed and disgusting customer service. It happened many times, their witness or waiter is showing very bad and negative attitude to customers. You can barely see them smile to their customers. They also encourage customers to pay cash instead of using cards. If you can pay cash, you will get a free drink. I paid once with cash but they did not provide me an tax invocie. There are so many other Thai restaurant around the area, I will never go to Seasonal Thai anymore. Good luck to the business owner.

Our first visit for nearly 10 years and we were very happy. The restaurant is fairly large and has a spacious feel. Friendly staff and excellent food. The betel leaf prawn entrée is amazing, the special skewers were delicious and the satay sauce (side order) was particularly good. The crying tiger is a modern interpretation and is fantastic. Also had pad see ewe and the stir fried crispy pork belly. All the dishes were delicious and generous serves with plenty of fresh tasty veggies.

Usually ok, but yesterday the service was absolute garbage. We ordered some food at 5 to be picked at 6:30 but when we came at 7, they hadn't even started, and when I came to pick it up they realised that they hadn't even started the order. Then, they started cooking everything and held us there for another 45mins. Then, when we paid, they offered no compensation, whatsoever, for making a mistake and gave us no discount. Like come on, what kind of service is that???

Had a food delivery where my friends ordered a curry and it was spilt during transit and they refused to replace it with a new one. My friends moved on and while we at their place tonight we ordered from there again and after placing the order they called back and brought up the incident and they refused service even though they are regular clients who hadn't done anything wrong. Very poor customer service, take your money elsewhere

If I could give it zero stars I would. Ordered and only half my meal arrived. Incredibly rude lady on the phone told me she would send it with her own driver then decided they couldn’t be bothered. Made me reorder on Uber ($20 in delivery fees for one meal!!). Then said half said sorry and she’d give me a credit if I ordered with them again, then hung up on me. We are very regular customers and eat mainly lunchtimes. Most of the time we have excellent service and the food is always really good and good value for money. But today we were charged $2 extra for tumeric rice, this I find totally unnecessary as the tumeric rice is served on several other dishes. the charges for extra chilli, takeaway dishes etc are acceptable, but not the rice. Very disappointing and its the first time its occurred. I would appreciate a reply..

Nice and clean place. We ordered vegetarian cashew nuts, the special fried seafood noodles with satay chicken skewers. The food is really delicious and well priced as for the mocktails, it was nice and good mix of fruit juice. The staff are friendly and well presented. We'll go there again. Best deal between 3-5om

Resteraunt is clean and well patronised. Takaway Food portions were very good but the food had no flavour . I ordered the pad thai with beef and the noodles had no texture. Curry puffs were very good and had good tasting filling. Chicken satay had no peanut flavour at all, however the chicken was tender and well cooked sadly there was no sauce. Food was well presented, good portion size, but overall lacked flavour - i am sure a one off...

Partnered with Liven in 2022 however put on sign stating no longer accepting liven credits on 12 May 2023. Even Liven did not know the shop done this. Really dodgy and caused people to waste time getting to their shop to find out the bad news. I can't even obtain a refund as they did not notify Liven. Super dodgy, I imagine they will cut corners on their food as well. Stay away.

My favourite restaurant!! I cannot recommend Season Thai more. They have the most delicious local Thai food in Gordon and wonderful, cost eat in options as well as delivery and pick up options as well. Almost always buy extra to eat the next day!

Wagyu beef bbq and cryting tiger is nice 8/10. Fried rice is a bit dry 6/10. Bbq squid is unusually soft 5/10. Fried crispy wonton and crispy pork is nice but i would prefer actual pad thai 7/10.

Lovely Thai restaurant on the north shore with authentic dishes at reasonable prices. The tumeric rice and Tom Yum soup were especially good. Ample parking available across the road. Recommend booking online a day prior.

I would give them no star if I could. We went for a lunch on weekend, worst service from the ladies who were in charge of the bar area. Chatting to each other, laughing, don’t want to serve people, limiting where we can sit when there’s no one else in the restaurant. Hope the owner cares enough.

Excellent food, large dishes, large menu, great service. A spacious place for covid concerns and great cleaning and hygiene. Update: The first time we went was perfect, the second time was not, the massaman beef was appeared reheated and the beef seemed old, I didn't enjoy that meal much at all.

Food was tasty. Portions were not that big. They require you to check in using a QR code and do temperature checking before entry. Service was efficient. Restaurant has a nice view closer to the big tree on the side lane, so try to get a table closer to that instead of close to Pacific highway.

This is a 6 star restaurant. A rare combination of exceptional food, customer service, and incredibly good value. Every dish sampled was first class and far better than expected from a local Thai restaurant. Incredibly good value even at twice the price. I think I've found a new favourite Thai

So amazing to stumble upon this Thai restaurant in Gordon for lunch. Lovely ambiance and great staff. Lunch menu was very affordable. We tried the Masaman beef curry and Chilli basil chicken mince, both ticks all the right boxes, very flavoursome. Highly recommended.

I chose Seared Scallops and Sizzling Beef and I really liked both plates. They were cooked with the traditional Thai-species and we were so good. Of course, you have to like the cilantro. I strongly recommend for people who want discover this kind of cuisine.

Good quick service, good taste, good price. Clearly labelled gluten-free options which was good for me. Everyone was pretty happy with their dish. We ordered the barramundi, a gluten-free fried rice, chicken panang curry, fish cakes and a coconut drink.

Our "go-to" Thai restaurant. Enough variety in the menu to keep everyone in the family happy and great selection of drinks. Quality is always top-notch and not overly salted or flavoured. Staff are always friendly and attentive which is a bonus.
