Incredible customer experience and support services. I saw Mitch the podiatrist a few weeks ago to talk about my pre-existing ankle conditions as well as to purchase a pair of new runners and he was able to provide me with some exercises to help give me better my stability overall. I also had concerns on whether my Garmin watch was giving me a legit cadence reading and he actually took the time to help me validate the Garmin readings- what a legend! While the first pair of runners he suggested may not have worked out for me (On Running Cloudflyers) after my first run, the team at Running Science were more than happy to let me come back and exchange them for an exponentially more comfortable shoe (On Running Cloudmonsters). It was like a day/night experience between these two shoes! Thank you to Mitch, Sam and Chris for the super helpful and genuine service experience. This is why I've trusted this team for my last 2 pairs of runners. Will be going back again once I eventually wear out these crazy comfy Cloudmonsters.

Running Science is a valuable resource for the inner west, and Sydney more generally. To me this is not a store, but a hub for the local active community. It’s a place where you can go for treatment, advice, even consolation - and yes, shoes. I add this last, because my first interaction with the store 6 years ago showed me that this was not just a shoe shop. Fletch tentatively conceded that, yes, he did have the model I was looking for. But I wasn’t getting my feet into it until he’d interviewed me to ensure it was the right choice. This is the care you can be sure you’ll be afforded at Running Science. It’s not a guarantee that every problem will be solved instantly, but it is a promise that you’ll be heard and helped. Combined with this is the fact that Running Science is in a constant state of professional evolution; its business innovation is matched only by the staff’s desire to know more about how to run healthily. There’s not much else you can ask from a “shoe store”.

Just moved to the area and Running Science are now my absolute go to! Fletch and the team are fantastic, with both knowledge and service that goes above and beyond to ensure you're getting what is right for you. I've been running on and off for 10+ years and have been experiencing frustrating calf strain lately after runs. As a client new to the trail running world who had a history of bursitis, I needed advice on what shoes would support me and avoid potentially flaring up old issues. Running Science took the time to get a very detailed history and consulted with their on- site podiatrist before recommending a shoe that has been fantastic. My bursitis has settled and even after competing in the Blue Mountains UTA I had no major issues. I recently bought some new running shoes for my first marathon coming up in 3 weeks. I walked in quite distressed as I had been doing all this training and my toes were bruised, in pain and I thought I was not going to be able to run for a while to let them heal, let alone being able to run the marathon! Best running shop in Sydney! Fletch and the team spend a lot of time and care when fitting you for a shoe, including letting you try it outside. They know what suits each individual runner and find the best shoe for you. Recently have seen Byron, who's one of the shop physio's. It was a couple of years ago that I've bought from them a shoe they recommended and some running gears and to this day I still remember my visit. Highly experienced staff assessed and recommended the Mizuno Wave Rider, and it unbelievably made a huge difference to my running. A friend recommended me here and I did not realise how much of an impact the correct running shoe let alone education would go a long way. Absolutely love this store. Got some runners fitted here today and it was a great experience. The staff here are full of knowledge and actually take the time to find you your perfect pair of runners, not just trying to sell you any pair. They won’t let you leave without being fitted correctly and they assess your running / walking style. I am delighted with my new running shoes. This is a shop that "knows its stuff". Staff took the time to understand my running needs, my history of injuries, and the eccentricities of my running style. There is no sense of rushing, as different models are tried for comfort, and staff observe them "in action" on the treadmill. The staff truly want you to have what best suits your running needs and are prepared to go above and beyond to achieve that. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Booked an appointment for a walking/jogging shoe fit, I arrived and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the young lady, Tamra, who checked my foot type and sizing was excellent. I was given different options for style of shoes suited to my feet. I settled on a shoe and the lady suggest I go half a size bigger, I am glad I did as the shoes are very comfortable and exactly what I was after. Highly recommend running science and their staff.

Fantastic customer service. Served by Fletch. Takes the time to get the right shoe for your foot and running experience. If you aren't completely happy with the shoes they will find one that is. It is slightly more expensive than buying shoes online, but the personal service you get with the team is worth it. (Shoe companies keep changing their styles!). Have been going here for many years and have always had a positive experience.

Great store with a good range of shoes, very happy how John explained and fitted the right shoes for me. After having done so much running this year it was important to me to get the right shoes to avoid injuries. Using the treadmill to make sure they are comfortable while running was great! I would happily come back to buy my shoes from here from now on.

Recently I popped into Running Science, as I needed some new shoes for my upcoming 24 hour track race. The team at Running Science were absolutely awesome - I received valuable advice, they were incredibly generous with their time and I was fitted with the perfect shoe. I have been wearing ASICS for as long as I can remember and have recently increased my walking and seem to be getting lots of blisters.
