I own 2 Velec electric bikes and was looking for a tune up before the summer season. I found La Rouemanie on the Internet and left them a phone message. An hour later, I heard back from Stephane Arseneault who explained that because of COVID-19, and social distancing, he was arranging appointments and not accepting walk-in clients. We arranged a meeting for the next day and I met him outside his store in Lachine. He advised me that it could take up to a week to get my bike back. I was pleasantly surprised to hear from him the next day; my bike was ready. I scheduled another appointment for that afternoon. I was very happy with all my dealings with Stephane and next week I have an appointment to bring my wife's electric bike in for her tune up. I highly recommend La Rouemanie for all your biking needs. Great customer service!

charged me $35 to tell me his doesnt know what the problem is.... Bring your bike to Rossi instead, they actually put effort into diagnosing problems and what to do. to the owner's response: You still couldnt identify the problem (it was the chain btw).... you said "I dunno, yeah its probably the axle or something. I dont have parts for that". Question is, if you didnt have Campy parts, why did you take my bike in in this first place? You just wanted a few bucks. I mean, youre a bike shop, you should know how to diagnose a problem! But you couldnt, you clearly didnt know what you were doing, and for that you get 1 star. Be better at your job. as for the stuck wheel, when I was trying to fix it myself (which I couldve eaily done), you said "dont worry Ill take care of it". That implies that you wont charge me. Seriously.

I bought an expensive road bike there in 2011 because no one else had the model I was looking for. The service was okay but unfriendly. I've since moved, so when I started experiencing trouble this summer, I took the bike to a local shop. They took one look at the bike and asked me if I had assembled it myself (nope, all done by Rouemanie - in fact they wanted an extra two days after purchase to finish the adjustments) - the mechanics at my local shop (a very well-known bike store) said the assembly was one of the worst they had ever seen! Apparently all my troubles with the shifter and front derailer could be traced by to improperly installed cabling. Never again!

Très déçu du service. Je suis arrivé avec un vieux modèle de roue. J'avais besoin de deux pneus et deux tubes. Le vendeur (le propriétaire) m'a vendu la mauvaise grandeur. J'ai essayé de retourner les pneus et les tubes après m'être rendu compte de la mauvaise grandeur et le propriétaire a seulement accepté les pneus en retour et ce, même s'il m'avait lui- même donné la mauvaise grandeur. Mes tubes étaient neufs, ils n'a pas voulu les inspecter ni rien, me disant qu'il était facile de retourner des tubes usagéset me disant que j'étais chanceux qu'il aient accepté mes pneus. Magasin à éviter, on voit que le vendeur (propriétaire) manque d'expérience.

We had a fantastic buying experience at this store. My sister and I both bought E-Bikes and while I haven’t ridden the bike yet, I will say that the owner took so much time to explain everything to us and to make sure we felt comfortable with our new bikes. Adjusted everything, oiled the chains, charged the batteries and put on our rear view mirrors. Also made sure to tell us to read the manual as it is very important how to attach battery to charger, and how to look after the battery during winter. Also explained importance of registering as the bikes we bought included free roadside assistance. Cannot say enough about the service we received!

We were looking for bicycles and all big box stores were sold out. The stores that had limited choice available had sales people with no idea what they were selling . They knew nothing about the product except what was written on the price tag. We went to the place we should have gone first.we were greeted by an experienced, knowledgeable and professional sales person that was able to give all necessary information to make the ideal choice . we had great service with a smile and received a great product of which we are extremely happy. if you are looking for a one stop shop. you will get great service and after purchase service on your bicycle.

It seems everyone is looking to buy a bike and it's made my bike shopping experience frustrating for the past month... until I emailed Rouemanie! After trying and failing to reach 5 other retailers, I finally wrote Rouemanie an email. It was a little out of my way but Stephane was so quick, courteous and helpful, I decided to check it out! I had been agonizing trying to make appointments and I'm so glad I finally gave Stephane a chance. I found an awesome bike that ticks all my boxes and he was so quick and helpful. The store was also spotless and care taken to keep customers and workers safe. Definitely recommend!

I bought my first e bike at La Rouemanie 2 1/2 years ago with excellent service. Stephane is very helpful and knowledgeable. I just picked up my bike after needing a tune up and brake repair and even during these crazy Covid times the wait was not long and was by appointment only so very safe. Stephane may not be able to answer the phone right away but always calls back within a reasonable time. I recommend this shop to anyone looking for a new bike or for after sales service.

I took my old school 10 speed Norco in for some TLC....I had a bad spill last year...and needed a good serviceman....I took it to the right place ....not only is the owner passionate and knowledgeable....but just a nice guy ...he had it back to me in less then a week...and now I can enjoy the long weekend going on Long rides....highly recommend going here for your service needs and he has great bikes there for sale....thanks so much

Buying my bikre here started as a good experience, a few months later my bike developed problems, I brought the bike to the shop still under warranty, and the owner is telling the there's no issues when I have clear noises coming from my front break. Now I'm stuck trying to fix it myself or paying another shop to do it. Find somewhere else to buy a bike unless you don't care about warranty.

If i could give less i would. Virtuallybstole money from a 14yrs old kid repairing a tire that got flat within 100metrs from the shop. Went back and sais wheel is old it is normal that we have punctures. Why did you install a new tube then if you knew it would not resist? Did not want to put another tube or refund. Was extremely rude. Very poor service and high prices, stay away from there.

This is not just a bicycle store, this is a bicycle place run with passion. Stephane knows everything about bicycles, and he was patient enough to explain and answer all our beginners questions. Client for 4 years, and my bike style is bike path/ruff terrain and bike touring with my bike in Europe. Whatever the problem or knowledge needed, they always listened and guided. I have purchased my present bike and hoping to purchase another for mountain biking. Highly suggested and glad it is part of my neighborhood.

Don't expect any favours from this place if you're biking on the Canal. I left very disappointed with the lack of compassion shown by the clerk. He told me that he'd only service me if he did a partial bike assessment when all I needed was for him to help me pop my chain back on my derailleur.

Très mauvais service !Après une mise à jour de mon vélo à 150$ le dérailleur fait du bruit les freins fonctionnent à moitié la chaîne na jamais été vérifié ! On me charge finalement 360$ pour des pneus et un entretien que j'ai du aller le refaire ailleur. Vraiment incompétent endroit à éviter

A friend recommended Rouemanie and the experience was great ! Had a tuneup and some other work done on my bike...Stephane who owns the shop is excellent to deal with and very knowledgeable......brought my wife’s bike in for a tuneup too! I highly recommend this shop for all your bike needs!

Personalized service in case you don’t know what to get and good prices, bought two very good quality bikes recommend by the owner himself that were cheaper than the online offers. A wonderful person, quite competent about hot yoga besides bikes. Loved the aura of the place as well. <3

Love this store because of its personalized service and good advice. Because of my weight I need a very sturdy bike and a good pair of roller blades that would not break after a few miles. I am very satisfied. Also went back for maintenance and was satisfied with that too.

Went there to fix my pedal, and for an all around tune up. Rode it for 40km, and was satisfied with the work. Also bought side pouches, tubes, bike pump, and bag rack. All products did their job. Service in both french and english. Recommended for your local bike needs.

Professional and fast service. Came in to fix a flat tire, had the tube replaced and brakes adjusted in less than 15 minutes. Also has a very nice selection of bicycles for every price range.
