Rexall carries all the regular fixings of a drugstore but I would absolutely steer clear of this location unless I was in a real pinch for time. Everything here is probably marked up at least 10% higher than any other drugstore in the area and the markup is neither justified by better customer service or more convenient (late night) hours. I've now had two frustrating experiences at this pharmacy, the first being when I tried to get a vaccine for my daughter that was not covered by insurance and found out that Rexall was charging 3x the price of Costco and 2x the price of Shoppers. I get that pricing models are different in different stores but when you're talking about multiple folds more expensive, it's highway robbery. The second time, my doctor sent through a prescription to this pharmacy and they kept saying they had not received it. When we tried to call in to ask for a status, they basically brushed us off and asked that we not call as they would call me when they did get it. To nobody's surprise they did not call back when they eventually did manage to sort out whatever system glitch caused the delay. I get that COVID probably has everyone stressed out and overworked, but this place definitely gives you the vibe that you're an unwelcome burden and they're doing you a massive favor by servicing you.

The pharmacy attendants are not very nice or helpful. The one lady interrupts whenever I speak and is very rude when I try to explain my situation. They always seem to have problems finding my insurance and when I call my insurance providers it is always a problem on the pharmacy's end and how they are inputting my information. This has happened more than once. Often they have problems faxing my doctor and my dr doesnt recieve the fax, which I've never had problems with before with other pharmacies either. I have delt with many pharmacies over the years and this is by far the worst one I have ever been to. I wish they were more organized and had better customer service. I would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone who has to pick up prescriptions often.

I'm not sure how many years ago this was, I've had multiple surgerys on my right knee. But my Doctors office is next door and I arrived early. So I went into the drugstore and looked up and down each isle. I had crutches and a Zimmer knee brace, overalls with no pockets and a long sleeved tee shirt on. I brought a cloth bag to hang around my neck for purchases. I don't know if was an employee in regular clothes or store security but they kept following me up and down. Finally I turned around and blew them a kiss with my hand. The middle finger is passé, nobody expects a kiss! I bought a Coke and three bottles of nailpolish.

Made me pay for medication that was covered under OHIP. When I returned and asked for a refund, they told me I had to contact the government to get reimbursed. When I asked why I was charged to begin with they shifted the blame on me and said I didn't disclose the proper information which is ridiculous to assume, since neither of the staff helped me the day of and I most definitely provided all the necessary information. Unprofessional and rude staff. Did not help at all and made THEIR incompetence MY problem. All they did was manage to piss me off. Go to a Shoppers Drugmart. These people are ridiculous and foolish.

Me and my sister this morning went to find some skincare products and the worker at the skincare section was following us at every aisle and getting close within our personal space. I felt discriminated and harassed by her because she assumed we were shoplifting when we were just looking for skincare products to buy. The store has little employees and I also experienced an interaction with an employee who I thought was a customer when she was actually an employee because of her outfit that looked casual. I’m not going to come back to this store ever. Period.

Pharmacist CHERRY is really rude. I went there for burn and she literally told me to go find myself. Pharmacist are meant to give advice to the patient but this pharmacist didn’t even help me to find which medicine is good. I felt like she told me to go f myself. She is a really bad person and is not meant to be a pharmacist. I have seen many pharmacists and they are really nice and has helping mentality but this pharmacist is really rude and not helpful at all. If she is around don’t go there and go to shoppers drug mart.

Pharmacist was rude and incredibly unhelpful! I couldn't find the cold medicine I usually take, so I asked the pharmacist for assistance (he looked like he didn't want to even be there). He just pointed at the aisle and told me to "look there" (more than half their shelves were empty btw). Didn't ask me my symptoms, give me a suggestion, or help me find an alternative. He blatantly watched me struggled to find something myself and then ignored me when I went up to ask for more help.

In my experience, this location is not staffed well. Often a cashier will be on a break or having to juggle multiple tasks and you have to wait for them. The post office lady was helpful on one occasion but on another she said she was going on break and I would have to wait a while if I didn’t hurry up with my package. I understand this isn’t their fault but I feel like something needs to be adjusted with employee overlap to allow breaks to not affect the customer experience.

I have asked to transfer a prescription from another Rexal location, they told me they will send the request and call me back the same day but they never called back or pick up the phone. Two weeks later, I went there they said the prescription is ready and asked me to pay for it despite the it's for my son and I don't have any private insurance and they told me the government is rejecting to pay but the issue is with them because they don't know how to bill it.

Review is for the post office. Staff member Daniel outright lied about the service I was getting and sent a gift to Ireland via surface rather than air. As a result, the package will be taking 1-2 months to arrive at it's final destination. I was explicitly clear in saying that I wanted air mail and was willing to pay for it. The manager was very responsive to my criticism, hence the two stars not one star. Post office users beware!

Absolutely terrible pharmacy. Never have my medication "in stock" takes 3 weeks to decide to give you the brand name, which should be a simple switch. Always have problems picking up my prescriptions from them. How do you tell someone on a daily medication, oh come back in 3 days to pick it up, when I have nothing left, AND you won't let me come and earlier to get my meds before they run out. Absolutely terrible service.

I had a bad experience at the Pharmacy, they scheduled me for a COVID shot, I got there in time only to hear I would have to wait till another week because the I was rescheduled, they didn't email or message or call about the rescheduling. All I needed to do was go to the shoppers down the road, I got my COVID shot there on the same day and they were very professional. Rexall needs to do better.

Wasn’t able to exchange diapers I mistakenly purchased for my child, accidentally got the wrong size and slightly ripped the package, realized it less then 1 minute of purchasing and ended up buying the other size also. The assistant Manager SHAISTA has HORRIBLE customer service and is very rude, doesn’t know how to speak to customers… no wonder this location is 2.6 Ratings out of 5.. lol

I always come here whenever I need to buy skincare. But today was the worst experience ever. This one lady in the cosmetics section kept following me and my brother everywhere and was watching us. It was very nosy of her. I get it when people want to help but this was more like harassment and racism and assuming we are stealing. I am very disappointed and never coming back here again.

Had a problem with my door dash order .. called Rexall to see what happened .. someone answered the phone ..I explained what had happened.. they directed my call .. the call got disconnected and they never answered again after I called 5 times .. thanks for nothing .. companies love to take your money but never want to help you!! I prefer shoppers drug mart 1 million times !!

Bad customer service, especially from the pharmacist working on night shift 12/20/18. I asked for advise and instead of helping me, it looked like I was botbering her and just pointed to pick whatever was on the shelf. I asked becuase I had question, finding the shelf is easy. The only one that goes above and beyond in that store is postoffice lady.

Absolutely garbage service. They put the wrong labels on for products and charge you more. They have no morals for customer service and are hesistant to help. They were scanning out their fellow workers at closing time and when a return was to be made they said that "the till is closed". Management needs to be changed.

I wish I could give them a 0 to 5 but I can’t.They are very disrespectful and have no respect for the customers. My father and I went there they treated my father with disrespect. If you want Medicine to go to another Pharmacy it will be better than rexel. Rexel they threw your medication on the counter.

Lack of employees working leading to employees being overworked. I always see this staff on the morning when the store opens and when I come back at night, she’s still there working. I feel bad for the staff especially that she looks really tired, and you can clearly see that she’s overworked

Had a terrible experience today, it made me look for. new Canada post location, your female employee made a rude comment to me while i was in line. i like this location because it is close to me but i wont be coming here again and i will everyone i know to avoid this location.

Poor customer service from the pharmacist ! It was an ordeal to get a receipt for insurance claim. She claimed that I did not purchase the product there when the cash register receipt showed the address of her store-Rexall Drugstore ! I do NOT recommend this store!

Terrible service. This lady was on a call for half an hour and didn’t care about the line. When I asked her about how long it is going to take she was like ”can’t you see I’m on phone” terrible way to treat a customer. The management needs to find better employees.

This review is for the staff in the post office. The manager named Bushra was extremely helpful when it came to customer service. She went through all the steps with me which helped a lot as I was new to sending stuff via post mail. fast and cooperative.

Pharmacy is the worst. Nothing in stock, they don’t know how to order it, just trying to get me to go to another pharmacy where total prescription is available without giving the stuff they have in stock. Also she moves so slow it’s painful

Need more staff, canada post attandance lazy, not helpfull, doesnt want to check the item. Not friendly at all. Customer service need a lot of improvement. Pharmacy helper need more knowledge, pharmacies is okay.

Tara helped me with everything I needed in one quick vist. She even answered all my questions about skin care and recommended something more mild for my sensitive skin. I recommend shopping here over shoppers!

It takes 27 hours to fill a prescription with 4 medications. Prescription faxed on Monday 9 AM was only ready on Tuesday 12 noon. They also do not offer to call your doctor to get your refill prescription.

The actual Rexall drug store is quite nice, or at least the pharmacy part of it. The Post Canada inside however is way understaffed, the line is very long and it takes way too long to pick-up a package.

I went to this Rexall because I had a parcel to pick up. They have a full Canada Post on site. This Rexall is one of the bigger stores I've been in. Lots of products to choose from.

Only ever been here to pick up packages at the Canada post but could never bring myself to buy anything since everything seems disorganized - boxes and pallets everywhere, etc.

It's OK. Some of the pricing is egregious (eg $3.99 for a single serving size bottle of cranberry juice) but they do have good deals on some things from time to time.
