My review keeps getting deleted, which proves to me there is something to hide. For every child everywhere, I will never be silenced. This is Canada. Govern yourselves accordingly. Principal Tara Wild, Superintendent Amy Hannah, & the whole OCDSB in general are incompetent. Incidents as I understand them: My 6yo daughter was assaulted by an 11yo boy to the point of physical visible injuries while teachers looked on in the school yard & ignored her. The teacher didn’t discipline the student after he was told what happened NOR did he check on my child. The principal never disciplined the negligent teacher. I picked up my 6yo child with a cut and dried blood on her forehead. Not ONE teacher asked her since 11am WHY her head was bleeding?? Super did NOT return my call regarding the assault, till I called the trustee one week later, who then called the super, who then blamed her assistant, saying she never told her- LIES, as the assistant scheduled 2 meetings that Hannah was mia for. There was another incident where a teacher screamed at one of my other children to the point he was visibly shaken. She then called me to apologize & also my son. However she went on to blame one of the other children, saying that they were stressing her out & it made her freak out on all the other kids. Also- she was hot. HUH? My other child was berated for being hyper in a lineup, & for a week felt harassed by Mr Perks who for some sick reason saw the need to remind him he was “still in trouble”. For what? I’m still not sure. He also told my other son “you might be in trouble too”, when he didn’t have anything to do with the situation, causing HIM anxiety. The principal ignored my concerns on this incident- saying kids shouldn’t be hyper because it’s slippery outside. The Superintendent then agreed the principal dealt with it. They see nothing wrong with a teacher harassing a child for a week causing undue stress & anxiety. My 7 year old is scared to go to school because of interpreted intimidation by Mr. Perks. Have I mentioned it’s been almost 3 months since my little girl was assaulted & there’s STILL no resolution? She has anxiety now about school because the school insufficiently dealt with the issue. If they had the kid apologize 2 months ago and she was taken care of when it happened, she would probably be ok. The principal *told* me that there is *no such thing as zero tolerance at Regina*. She said “it doesn’t exist”. Horrifying. Parents beware. The principal did offer one solution to my child being assaulted- she told me to change their school because they are too “innocent” for Regina & there are “unspeakable things” have happened to the kids there, & it will only get worse for my kids once they are in grade 4 & 5. She then asked for my postal code & proceeded to google schools near me to offer suggestions of where I should put them. The principal then decided to put down the other parents saying, other parents don’t care like you do. Offensive! I interpreted her statement to say, other parents don’t care what happens to their kids at school. Amy Hannah said something similar to me. She said something to the effect of other parents don’t have the voice I do & these incidents probably happen a lot but no other parents speak out or notice. That disturbed me a lot-Their statements were interpreted by me to mean-they know these things happen but don’t bother fixing them because parents don’t object, And in effect-why bother doing any work if they don’t have to. Also their statements imply the parents don’t care about their kids. I am thoroughly DISTURBED. Yes- that’s the unbelievable level of incompetence of Tara Wild and Amy Hannah. No help from the other supposed people in charge. Looks like other avenues will have to be taken. This school & the people in charge have PROVEN to be incompetent & negligent. I should’ve listened when everyone told me not to put my kids here. People say things for a reason- although at the time I thought they were being dramatic. Nope.

It was good for the most part lots of nice teachers especially my fifth grade teacher Mr. Bradley. There were lots of staff who helped me what I was going through at the time. I did have some issues with the principals though. Also I would like to apologize to my French teacher madame Emily my whole class was way harder on her than we needed to be. We're very sorry

If your child has any special needs at all please avoid this school! We were lied to and my son was grossly mistreated and neglected. He was even forgotten on a school field trip. The principal is deceitful and arrogant. This was such a terrible experience for my child that we pulled him out to homeschhol him. Time will tell if we can repair the damage done!

Wow my review was deleted. I would be curious to know how many other reviews have been deleted and what the truth about the school is. Send them elsewhere if you love your children. This is a really bad school no matter who the principle is.
