Passively observed the store before today and liked what I saw, but was utterly disappointed shopping today. Rain carries a range of different styles and decades, but hardly anything above a UK10. Out of almost all of what I browsed, I could only find in an XS-M. I don’t think it’s a high bar to carry more than a handful of dresses that would fit a UK14, in fact it’s the bare minimum. It’s also the bare minimum to carry some sizes over a 2XL, but I doubt a single person of that size would find anything to wear in that store. It’s not a supply problem either, I’ve been to other Edmonton based stores that carry the exact same clothing and fit a wide range of bodies. It’s disappointing to see businesses like Rain continuing to exclude plus size people from having access to a range of fashion. The only reason this gets 2 instead of 1 stars is because the staff were lovely and one of them was playing some really good music as I miserably shifted through the racks.

I wen in on Sunday and while I was in the store hear the clerk making a personal call, she actually said " I can talk right now", implying that her call was more important than me as a customer. I caught her eye twice, as I wanted to know if they had a shirt in a smaller size and she ignored me and continued to talk on her phone. I can honestly say that I have never been treated in such an obviously rude and disrecptful manner by a sales clerk. As I was walking out I said to my husband, loud enough that she could hear, that I guessed her phone call was more important than helping a potential customer. Considering the prices of the clothes I would have thought that she would have least pretended to give a damn about her customers, but I guess not. Last time I will ever go back there.

Warning: Ask about refund policies before giving them your money. I bought a skirt that didn't fit right and was refused a refund even though no one told me that was their policy, nor was it on the receipt (handwritten because their computers were down). I got a gift card, but I didn't feel like the owner cared to work with me to resolve the issue, so I left feeling disappointed. :( Being a small, struggling business, they should care more about customer experience. Cool clothes, though.

Employees show AMAZING customer service and support! This store has a wide range of different styles and aesthetics within the alternative fashion style! Employees are very open and welcoming towards customers and are quick to help you find something that suits you! The designs they carry inside the store are one of a kind and stunning!!! Definitely a hidden gem amongst Edmonton!

This store contains clothes that are unavailable in most places in Canada. They are American made &designed and our canadian dollar sucks. The prices may seem a little bit High. But for somebody who wants something different this is the place to go!! I drive 4 hours at least twice a year to see what's new. I have been shopping there for years love this store.

It was a nice clothing store with decent selection of high-quality clothes. The prices were reasonable and the ambiance of the place was vibrant and outgoing. You can find interesting items at this store as well. I bought a white top and it looked great on me. It was a great shopping experience. It was short but was worth it.

Fantastic little locally owned business. I can always find some great new pieces for my wardrobe. The clothing is unique and perfect for anyone who likes to be a bit more adventurous in how they dress. I’ve been shopping with them for the past year and am looking forward to seeing their new location in the west Ed mall!

It’s a very cute store and I always love looking around it whenever I stop pass by when I’m at the mall! There’s a lot of stuff that I’d definitely wear and I hope to get something from there so I can make a proper review. But yeah, always good to shop local!❤️

I love this boutique! There are so many interesting things that you don't see everywhere else, especially their shoes and purses. I can always spend a ton of time trying not to miss anything.

Pop and punk styles galore, and at surprisingly affordable price points! Staff is helpful with sizing info and there are often BOGO promos, too! Totally worth checking out!!!
