ZERO STAR'S Went in due to fraudulent withdrawal's from my account. They put me on deposit only so nothing could be taken out of my account. We put in a report to fraud department. I was told 10 working day's for them to get in touch with me but due to Christmas it could be closer to 15 day's. Then 2 day's later check my account and they bounced my insurance payment and cleared the fraud charge. Like what the going in today to find out why and what the happend. After this is cleared up and I get my money back I will be done with RBC this has been completely unacceptable. UPDATE Went in and accually got the same teller. Today I was told sorry that it was likley due to it having gone into my account before we put the deposit only on my account. How could she not have known that in the first place? To top it all off she tell's me I need to call visa debit not fraud she was the one who contacted them on my behalf. Now she said they told her I have to call visa debit to get my money back. if I had not gone in for her to tell me that today how would I have known? I would have beenrrwaiting for the fraud department who was never gonna call me. I ended up cancelling my visa debit and withdrew all money left in my account. I apparently have the right contact number now in order to receive my stollen fund's back. However when and if I do that will be the day I also will have nothing further to do with RBC. 45 year's and this is the thank's I get for being a faithful customer no more done with them. Their fraud help is nothing short of fraud itself.

I really needed a bank account plus as a young adult having one is needed. I didn't know much about opening a bank account... so I looked it up what was needed. So I'm getting all new I'd just moved from windsor to Edmonton I didnt think I could open a bank account. Now I really hate TD and I never wanted to open up a bank account there, so my friend told me about RBC. After going over what I needed I went down about a half hour before they closed. They told me that they ask customers to call ahead so they are given 1 full hour with the user's, I felt bad. Not thinking ill be able to open a bank account let alone have time I was upset.. Till this lady asked the woman from the counter if she can take me. Out of her own time that she may not gotten payed for helped me out. After opening a bank account I felt like an adult, I felt so happy and... it was on my goal list (Cross That Out Yay!) The card is beautiful with my name on it, and the first use of it made me happier so Thank you RBC very much for helping me take 1 step into adult hood.

Very disappointed with there Custamer service. First called the online customer service to get my e transfer limit increased. So that I can make a transfer online. They raised the limit to 2000 I needed more so they said for you own safety you have to go to the branch to get that changed. So I take off 2 hours from work so I got to this branch 167ave 127st and the lady at the front desk had appsalutly no desire to help me. “You just changed it recently so we can’t do that” that’s all she had to say. And she would not even try anything at all. I gave here the company name that I needed to pay and she declined it with out even checking on the system. Here coworker had to ask her to check.... very disappointed gave them so much business over the many year of service with them. I went to my TD branch and it was done on the spot and I got a thank you and a smile...

Stay away from there if you are looking to get a mortgage because they are a waste of time especially TRACY GALLO. I had to wait almost a month to be preapproved when she promised an answer within three days. She will continue telling you this day and that day and next thing you know a month has passed and you still don't have an answer. What bothers me themost is the fact that she waited all that time to tell me that i will be getting much less than the amount i was asking for when she probably knew a close if not an exact estimate to what i would have gotten for the preapproval when i first submitted my application. When i asked her why it was taking so long she said that it was because those that already had offers "came first" as if that's fair right? I am WARNING YOU she and the entire bank in general is the biggest waste of time.

Every dealing I have ever had with RBC has been a bad one. At this branch the lady actually lied to me and my business partner in order to con us into a meeting we didn't need. They seem to go out of their way to make the simplest things difficult and have no desire to help make your life easier. After just a few months I closed my business banking account here and cancelled my business credit cards. I am now also cancelling my personal credit card. TD Bank never gives me any grief and they actually serve you with a smile and most importantly always make an effort to help.

What an amazing customer service. Anna & Jose went out of their way to help me get my draft get cleared on 4th. I was told by Hollick Kenyon branch that they can do nothing about it but to hold it for 4 days. I needed that money that day. Anna went on ph right away. It took a long time to be on hold so she asked Jose to help. It took a few hrs but it was done. Praise God. If it wasn't for these 2 very hard working staff, It wouldn't have happened. And I would have changed my business and personal accounts to another bank institute to get better service. Thank you guys

Worst staff and services. Sold my car and received the money via eTransfer, so I needed to withdraw the money to buy a new car. While I was talking with the bank lady she wouldn’t let me withdraw my funds in cash and said it was “suspicious activity” so I showed her proof of the person who’s eTransfering me the money, showed her our texts and called the guy to confirm the etransfers. At the end of all of that she still wouldn’t let me receive my money. So I got sick of it and went to another branch and in less than 5 minutes I had my money.

This branch is TERRIBLE !! their ATM never works, they should just close their drive thru . Their staff is dumb and rude .. i wish i could just change banks and rid myself with all the frustration. This branch use to be pretty good good efficient staff but I am not what happened the entire staff got let go and this new ( predominately Indian ) staff took over. They don’t know to carry out most day to day teller transactions at first secondly they change branch hours without notice. Very frustrating!!

If I could give it zero stars I would. The manager of that branch is very unprofessional and looks drunk. I'm sure they prohibit drinking on site, but she would ignore that. She is very unprofessional to the clients and her employees. I can see why customer service is so bad there. I've seen her yell at her employees and that is when I knew I would not step back into this branch ever again. Some sort of higher level needs to come down and inspect that location.

Unpleasant experience twice in three months . Unprofessional staff with lack of banking knowledge.Especially a Indian lady who yelling at one of the customers who’s doing stuff with her own business account. So rude and unprofessional. And when is my turn . This lady just keep talking and talking none sense . I would give it no start if I can . Don’t want to continue business with them.

RBC has always been good to me. Every branch I have visited has always treated me very well; with the exception of this location. Conveniently placed, I was considering making this location my new home branch. However, due to a VERY sour experience with a teller, I will definitely be making a different location down the road my new home branch. I will never be back to this location.

Its what you expect to know RBC for, which is lack of customer service and rudeness from tellers. I've always wondered if RBC ever provides training for employees in terms of civility, client care, compassion, empathy and understanding for clients. Just seems you're dealing with machines, especially at this branch. Don't even get me started about the manager.

Blond woman at 11:59AM on Dec 30/21 arguing with teller that she doesn’t need to wear a mask. They actually served her instead of punting her out the door. Disgusting. I guess profit is more important than doing the right thing during a pandemic. I’m not blaming the staff. It’s a management problem that they don’t take a firm stand.

What the horrible branch. I was going talk with the manager she said, she will call me back I haven’t heard from her in a month I call the Center still I didn’t talk any manager what is going on RBC? It wasn’t like that when I open my account back on 2006 I am looking another Bancorp I am not sure which one I go.

Horrible customer service. Anytime you go into the branch you wait inline anywhere from 30-45 min only to watch 2 customers get served. You shouldn’t have to wait 45 min to deposit money into an account!!!!!! Either get more people working the front or get people who can tend to customers in a decent time.

I should have read those reviews before i started to do any business with this branch. Totally agree with Ezio Auditore review a year ago...i am going through the same scenario. waiting 2 months now for the mortgage approval with that Tracy Gallo...this is ridiculous and huge frustration.

The worest bank ever! Poor communication. Left out important information regarding opening an account. When I brought up this issue with one of the tellers, I was talked down to. If I could go back I would never deal with this bank. Actually it was more the staff then the back.

Didn't meet me at the scheduled appointment time for my mortgage meeting (Linda Speer). Went with a different lender. Made an appointment another time with someone regarding GIC, RSP and other investments and "advisor" couldn't even answer questions I had about funds and rates.

I don't know why people tolerate such bad service when there are so many banks to choose from. Came in to open a business account and there was a long lineup to get to the teller and noone at the front desk to greet customers. I guess I'll take my 100k business somewhere else.

7 years with ABC,. Now I decide to leave rbc not recommend it. You will be behind like me. Getting mortgage is very difficult I afraid more than 20% down payment still make it defect for me.

They refused to change my 20$ bill cause i was not a RBC customer and will never be one! Went to ATB they did change the bill and provide me an envelope with a big smile. Way to go ATB!
