Sad that RBC had decided to financially back something the majority of people and the law said were off limits. Corrupt legislation for the well-being and quality of life for all future inhabitants, has been backed by people unable to integrate, live together or amongst-digging Graves for the future wildlife we've finally got repopulating; for the infrastructure nightmare that will keep an economy booming while bankrupting newcomers and homebuilders. Because surely insurance will call it a natural disaster, leaving them more indebted, for the lifetime of insurance paid, by these persons. But we know we can't see the webs we weave, or we just don't care. Is it the cost of doing business? When are we all going to come together so everyone benefits. No one and to lose. It's only painte that way to keep momentum of popularity going.

I spent over an hour across multiple phone calls to talk to a human about closing accounts for my father who died. The automated assistant (who picks up if you call the call center or a branch directly) repeatedly hung up on me because I personally am not an RBC customer and had no client card number. I eventually got through to a human when I started yelling "Speak to a human" over and over again into the phone. After this experience I have no interest in pursuing any kind of business relationship with RBC and will actively convey that friends and family moving forward.

Attended a nice video meeting and then they stopped paying attention to my banking request. Had to go back to my old branch in my hometown as they left me waiting for 5 months. My hometown branch is saying they can fulfil my request within a 3 weeks max. I emailed the Kingston agent multiple times with no reply. Left voicemails with no reply. My hometown branch replied to me within hours.

I typically don't leave negative google reviews but the customer service I just recieved was shocking. The young brunette bank manager with an Australian accent could use a lesson or two on empathy and compassion. Cold, emotionless, and on a power trip. Does not care about customers at all. I left in tears. Considering switching banks to never have to potentially deal with her again.

I just want to thank Matthew from the Main Branch in Kingston (Princess Street) for all his efforts today to help me get and send a wire transfer to Portugal. He managed a somewhat cumbersome process with grace and good humour, providing excellent service and seeking the help of his colleagues, when needed. And a thank you to his colleagues as well.

I have been breaking my bills into coin change for the past months and occasionally I get same employee that would deny me this service because I need a RBC account to do so. On the other hand, other employees have never asked me whether I had an account and respectfully accept. Never heading back and will never open a RBC account in the future.

Poor communication with customers. If you need a cheap business account then sure. But don’t expect them to help you with any problems. Continuously fail to meet deadlines, promised to call and never do. Extremely unprofessional behaviour from both the branch and their call centres.

  • James B

Unresponsive liars at this branch and I would assume most branches. Their account managers will sell you on products that you do qualify for to meet their personal quotas. Be leery of any advice you receive from an account manager at RBC.

Amazing service! Courtney and Tamara Jackson went above and beyond to take care of us. Tamara’s knowledge about investments and mortgages were outstanding. She is extremely quick and efficient and does it all with a smile on her face!

Had an issue that I tried calling about. After a very rude call, I went into this branch an dealt with one of their members. She did an amazing job and was able to fix the problem with ease! Thank you Meaghan

The staff are very helpful and friendly. They have a lot of patience when it comes to difficult clients. The bank manager is very helpful and friendly always there to help. A very clean bank.

  • Emily Gibbons

They need a better automated service. It is near impossible to talk to an actual person and if you don't get the help you need with the automated service, it hangs up on you.

  • Lubomyr Luciuk

Trying to reach the local branch is near impossible. I am very unsatisfied with the branch and this lousy service. I wish I had never moved our account to RBC. Third rate.

  • Harsh Modh

Alexander Nicholson is amazing person for helping out my queries. He knows every detail what he is doing at branch. Thank you Alex l

Karim is the banking advisor to see! He truly is a great listener, and has great insight to solve any of your problems.

  • Kate Raleigh

The waiting time for services at this bank is astronomically slow. They need to hire more staff to improve wait times.

  • Kathleen O'Hara

I am shocked to hear that RBC has funded fossil fuels by more than $2 billion since the Paris Agreement in 2015!
