I used to be a regular customer here for years, since I grew up here, but I will never go back until that Asian lady with heavy make up is fired. Pharmaprix - please take note, there are multiple complaints about this particular Asian woman with regards to racial profiling and abuse, and it is negatively affecting your business. My wife (who is a minority), was returning some items with a cashier, when an Asian lady with heavy make-up interrupted her colleague, and started drilling my wife about her identity, credit card number, PC optimum card number and asked for 2 pieces of ID. What the hell??? Is this a government office or what? The items we were returning had a total value of less than 40$!! She then accused my wife of identity theft, even though it was her who bought the items the day before, and who showed the receipt, credit card, PC optimum card and 2 pieces of GOVERNMENT ID to that Asian lady. Furthermore, that lady said cannot process the return because "what if we left the items outside". First of all, who the hell would leave some sunscreen and supplements outside in the snow? Secondly, none of the items themselves looked frozen and were all intact with their plastic seals unopened. In the end, she screamed at my wife to get out of the store, even though my wife did not raise her voice or even talk back, all my wife did was just politely comply with all her unnecessary orders!! We really believe that this is a case of racial profiling, because who the hell would go out of their way, interrupt their colleague, and bully a minority woman? This is insane, and we will not be going back (and encourage all minorities to not go there) until that Asian lady is fired.

Never never go to this shop they will forgot to give you invoice and they will give you expiry items . I have bought the cosmetics in Nov. 30. And once I am home I found some is expiry in July. And once I took 1 hour bus to go there and the manager of the Galarie Beaute ( yes one Asian lady as the other person commented badly , I don’t know why she didn’t be fired since she got so many bad comments I just remembered her face)told me that is just mistake, and expiry item is not so important it still can use.( that moment I want to put the expiry item on her face , I want to ask their general manager if your employee told the customer like this how you will not be angry) whole time she never said one sorry for that . It looks that is very normal happened in this shop? She asked me for the proof and I showed her the purchasing history from my PC Card record, it showed very clearly I bought Nov.30 in her shop, and she said without receipt they can’t return, she asked me the cashier lady how I can know their employees. (Actually with my purchasing record since I am membership it is very easy to check the record although I already showed proof for purchasing)I am really angry with her. I ask her to check and put the stuff on the table, she said I am aggressive and I throw the stuff to her, the stuff is put on the table I never throw to her. And she said she can’t service for me today. Ok who buy in this shop who will get expiry items. If you want to return it will be very difficult they will find excuses. Never never go to this shop especially Galarie Beaute!!!!i put my very clear purchased history in this shop and expiry date show on the stuff!!!

The clerk was really cold/unfriendly/and unpleasant as I was checking my receipt for points and errors, which people do all the time due to inflation etc. I felt like I was being centered out, which was demeaning while other shoppers were left alone and shown respect for their privacy/time. The store itself was decent, clean and had sales but the customer experience felt degrading and time consuming, which is too bad because the store is in a convenient location for me and i was actually using the self-serve to avoid time wasting interactions. The clerk didn't seem to show much respect for social distancing policy either, IMO. I usually avoid stores where I feel that I am being marginalized/disrespected/disempowered or see others being marginalized/disrespected/disempowered as another poster noted negative interaction with employee can be humiliating/hurts and I would add wastes your time/makes shopping at a convenient location less convenient, IMO a complaint/resistance/would be futile/possibly even leading to trouble/more wasted time. I went to another pharmaprix and they just left me alone so I could shop in peace, and it matters.

Do not shop here! She did not do that with any other customers. We are Americans, and we call this racial profiling. Then when we went to pay she asked him for his ID, now you better ask EVERY SINGLE PERSON for an ID when they pay with a credit card. You should fire this person, she was very racist and I can see by other reviews she is a problem and unprofessional. I would have liked to buy items to take home because French beauty brands are very expensive in the U.S. but we felt harrassed by her and left. Shame! BTW I just tried calling the number you provided here in your response, they wanted an account number and told me they did not understand what I was talking about. Then asked if I wanted to make a complaint. If you were serious about handling customer complaints you would not just give out a random customer service phone number. That shows you do not care about a serious matter that took place at your business.

I was treated unfairly here I went to this pharmacy to get a 400mg advil on June 24, around 9:15pm . I'm in a trip to Montreal and I can only speak English. When I started speaking english, the middle-aged Asian lady at pharmacy became very unfriendly and asked me to wait at the cash because she was working on someone else's request. I waited for around 5 minutes at cash while she was helping people who came after me. I talked to the other lady at pharmacy (a woman of color) and she told me that to get a 400mg advil, we need to create a profile for you and you don't need to wait at cash. I told her I waited at cash because I was asked by the other pharmacist in a very unfriendly way, while other people who speak French and arrived after me are being served by her. That lady apologized several time and addressed my request, but the middle-aged Asian lady stayed silent and never apologized. Very disappointing to see such behaviors in a place like a pharmacy in 2023. I hope she stops behaving like this as a health care professional when she's at work.

I’ve been a regular customer at this pharmacy for the past six months, and I feel it's important to share my experiences. Unfortunately, the management at this location seems quite inadequate. There's always a long queue, and the understaffing issue is persistent. On one occasion, they accidentally provided me with double the prescribed medication, which, while personally convenient, raises serious concerns about professionalism and potential dangers to others who may be unaware. My interaction with the Asian lady at the pharmacy mirrored others' less-than-positive experiences. Despite presenting evidence of low iron levels from my blood donation app, she dismissed the need for iron supplements, overlooking a significant decrease in hemoglobin levels from 154 g/L in January to 132 g/L now—just above the minimum requirement for blood donation, which is 130. I also mentioned my increased running activity this year, where I completed two marathons.

I came In today to buy a perfume in the shop ,I stood there just smelling perfumes with no help what so ever ,the lady in that section,just stood there.just looking at me and then a white lady came in and she offered to help and even went in the back to get what she was looking for , I ended up picking up the good girl perfume and was heading to the counter to pay when the security guard told me that the perfume is payed at the pharmacy counter, where I felt unwanted by the lady at that section, anyways the white lady ended up not buying anything so I was the next in line,she did not even greet me she just looked at me like am in the wrong place.which made me make a decision not to buy anything.Now I really don’t wanna make this a racial thing . But I really felt like I don’t belong and there is no way that I am gonna spend my money in this place with such customer service.

This is the worse place! Attention to what you buy and the price! Items are wrongly priced and the price on the shelf doesn't match the product so you end up paying more for something you thought was on sale. The manager, Stevanie, refused to reimburse an item that was wrongly priced. Only after a lot of arguing she reimbursed it but refused to extend the same courtesy to another client saying she had already reimbursed one person. After pointing out the law, which is clearly posted at each cash, she finally and reluctantly reimbursed the other client. It's as if it came out of her pocket. I'm filing a complaint with the head office and the consumer protection bureau. This place is to be avoided!!!

A sales associate from the makeup department told me that if I wanted to continue shopping I would have to use a basket for my item (it was a single tube of mascara). I said that wasn’t necessary and I didn’t mind holding it. She said she was concerned that I would put it in my bag or pocket and could walk away without paying. Did not appreciate her unfriendly attitude or the accusation of theft. I shopped here often in the past, but I will not return after today. Support Jean Coutu across the street instead!!!

I had a very bad encounter in this branch and i felt really insulted due to the arrogant sale and weak manager. I made a complain since 3 weeks and never heard back from them. I am very badly effected by the humiliating treatment i got . I used to be a customer for the last two years since that accident i never visit that branch again. if there is less than 1 star rating i would definitely give it. Even if you provide the best product this dose not give you the right to insult your customers.

I went to get the medication from the pharmacy, speaking french not fluently because right now I'm learning french, the middle-aged asian woman at the pharmacy asked to speak english in a humble way which made me feel uncomfortable. I had received prescriptions for several times in different pharmacies under the PFSI coverage but this time I had difficulty getting the medication at this pharmacy. seems they are not only polite, but also not professional in their field.

They don’t obey the returning policy, written on their website. I wanted to return the umbrella, I bought the day before at another Pharmaprix (37 cad plus tax for umbrella of a very bad quality) and they said to return it to the initial Pharmaprix. That is against the rules written on their website. I returned with no problem at another Pharmaprix, they did not told me to go to the original store!

I use this pharmaprix often, and I haven’t had any problem so far. However, Today, there was an asian female employee who talked to me in Chinese when I was checking cosmetic products. Eventually she asked me if I needed any help in English, but hey. You cannot prejudge a person’s nationality based on the race. Do not talk to asian customers in Chinese. Not all asian is Chinese. Wake up!

This is one of my go to pharmaprix stores. They have everything that you can think of and that is why I go because it is like a mini walmart, it is like a one stop shop for everything that you need and what have you. The clerks are always there to help and they keep the store clean. It is just that you get some other customers who shop at the store who are covid crazy and are rude.

Amazing service all around. Everyone is super friendly even the security guard. They took care of advancing and calling me to get my 2nd dose of Moderna and couldn't be happier for how easy and stress free the entire experience was. I was even late for my initial appointment and that was not a problem for them to manage. Best Pharmacy in downtown Montreal, hands down! Thank you!

This review is for the makeup and beauty section of the store. There are many brands not available elsewhere and a great selection of drugstore and high end makeup brands (Essence, Bourjois, Benefit) and skin care brands. There are testers and staff let's you browse, but is available to answer question. The large aisles make it less crowded and hectic than a Sephora.

Je suis passé le 27 décembre 2020 vers 16h10 aux caisses libres services, la fille (Asiatique) qui était présente pour les caisses libres services était super sympathique, elle est allée vérifié plusieurs fois les prix des articles en promotion pour moi qui n’affichait pas à la caisse. Merci beaucoup encore(Malheureusement ton nom n’est pas écrit sur la facture)

A few weeks ago I got some gift cards using my AMEX, but today the asian cashier told me I can’t use credit card for gift card? Even if I said I wanted to try using my credit card, she even didn’t let me. I am not even sure whether this is ethical. Anyway, I’m gonna file a complaint regarding this, as I’ve never heard of such weird policies.

Except for the team responsible for médecines section, the team is not nice. They are inefficient and their manager is impolite .They refused to refund even though I bought my things less than half an hour ago simply because I didn't take receipt.They didn't even apologize that prices on shelves and system are not the same.

Catherine, one of the beauty specialists in the shop was VERY HELPFUL AND VERY APPROACHABLE. She assisted me and my friend to look for some perfume, and she was very happy and professional to assist us. Even the promotions going on around the products was introduced to us. Such a great deal and experience we had that night.

Very friendly and helpful staff, specially at the pharmacy,.... You can always find special deals there . always clean..... You can also benefit from Canada Post and RBC ATM machine service there . ...... It's one of the pharmaprix that I like. If you are driving you will need to finda street parking spot.

It's all about the deals these days and if you fish around you're bound to find something. They really want you to buy Chili in a can or Chester Cheetah Kraft dinner. I wouldn't, but the PC chicken cutlets on sale are worth it. There's a post office. The pharmacy usually has a line so be patient.

Pharmacist was not helpful at all. I am visiting from Vancouver and I needed to get the inhaler for my asthma and he didn’t help me with that. I had problem breathing very very poor service. He wouldn’t even speak with me to ask me questions. He is not even qualified being a pharmacist!!!

Is it just me or other dark haired foreigners feel unwelcome in bauty and perfume section of this store? The lady has behaved very cold and unwelcome to me three times, believe me i can afford to buy something don't look at and talk to me suspiciously and rudeas if i am a thief!!

Great place to print photos quickly and easily! Fast, simple, and easy, the photo kiosk creates prints at $0.29 each. Compare that with Foto Source in Eaton Centre that charges $0.99 with slow and awkward service. Solid selection of grocery and other goodies in-store, as well.

The pharmacist at this location is extremely kind and human. I was unable to reach my doctor and he made an exception in renewing my prescription as he understood the pain I was in. Thank you for being a human being and caring about your patients.

Please tell your corporate that the Optimum points app does not work properly and does not account points in its promotions. It’s basically false advertising and a scam. The app support does not reply even when logged a ticket for missing points.

Store is great, pharmacy has terrible service. There is a line customers, pharmacists don’t even pause to say “one minute”, instead they just avoid eye contact. I should mention 5 were working at once. Would not recommend due to poor service.
