I was in your establishment at 11:24 today and was purchasing a jacket for my puppy. I didn't only like the jacket but thought the price was great too. It had a price tag of $27.99 on it but when I got to the cashier was told it was really $39.99. It was quite a difference then what I expected to pay. The young cashier that I was dealing with was very customer oriented but it was the older woman that had little to no social skills. She informed me that she couldn't possibly give me that kind of deal but would give me $2.00 off the regular price, (even though all the jackets had the same price tag on them of $27.99) . Then when she punched it in said, "you're getting a better deal than I told you originally", as she was giving me $4.OO off. I didn't find this woman to be very hospitable to me and, sadly because of her, will be taking my business elsewhere. I have been coming to Pet Valu for 16 years now but now feel I'll receive better results elsewhere.

Limited selection of kitten food, only had the one kind of science diet. Beta fish are trapped in tiny cups and look depressed, barely moving, but you find that in any pet store so can't hold that against them specifically, just a sad sight. Other than that it's a great place to shop for your pets needs.

Friendly & knowledgeable staff. Good selection of pet treats and toys. The food we have purchased has agreed with our dogs. Some jackets / winter clothing but not a lot. Thanks for the staff & management for keeping our pets feed during the lockdown - sincerely appreciated.

They have beautiful little store cats who I look for to pet every time I'm there! Great staff and lots of pet care items available. They have a rewards program on pet food as well. They offer curbside pickup and will offer to help you with heavy items if needed.

Our little rescue dog had a bad grooming experience. We asked about calming products. Staff Carley was so very friendly and knowledgeable about the best products to purchase for his upcoming grooming appointment! Definitely use Gardiner's Rd Pet Value again!

Very helpful staff, lots of products for cats or dogs. You can also get a pet license here, join the points club and get emails. Very good quality pet food selection here. Open until 9pm which is great. My pets dont need much but I'll get what i need here.

Okay place. Lots of variety in animal foods but not inexpensive, cute outfits for dogs but again pricey, lots of all kinds of supplies,etc. The gentleman who works there is very helpful and accommodating and the groomer seemed to know what she was doing.

Went in yesterday looking for advice on cat food and how to feed my two overweight indoor cats. The man was very helpful. Took lots of time and his honesty and interest in helping me and not on selling product was awesome! Very impressed!

As a disabled person with my service dog, I was treated with absolute hatred and disrespect. Was centered out and made fun of in front of other customers and staff, I do not recommend going to this store, it should be boycotted.

I went there to get catfood, and they said that if my cat didn't like the food, I could bring it back and try another kind, which I thought was pretty nice, because alot of places won't take it back.
