My wife and I have purchased all of our jewelry through Peoples. Just recently moved into the country from the city and now this location is the closest for us. We have extended warranties with them that require us to go to in and have everything inspected every 6 months. For every inspection, you're required to bring your paperwork, and at this time, one of the sheets had fallen out. This location's staff refused to help us, saying without that one piece of paper there was nothing she could do. With the paperwork we had brought, it had the receipt, serial numbers, and bond number for the extended warranty. All the information required to bring up a service claim and inspection. We left, called People's customer service, where they said even without that one piece, it would have been no problem for the store to take the ring and send in for repair (it had lost one of its diamonds). Customer service, said all that was needed was one quick call, and they could process it. Warranty is always a tough subject, but in this case, I've never been treated this rudely, and then to not even try to help or make a quick phone call to see if there was anything that could be done. My wife and I will never go back to this store.

I ordered a wedding band online no problem. They take an authorization hold out of your bank to secure funds. Understood. They returned it cuz 10 days had passed and they still hadn't shipped out my order. Whatever. Nothing I can do about that. Then they finally ship it out more then 3 weeks after I placed my order and I got charged TWICE for my order. Spoke to 3 different agents online/phone. No one could help me. I had to then send off 2 emails. Then they finally get back to me saying there's only one charge on their end and they can't help me EVEN THOUGH I showed them bank proof WITH transaction numbers showing how I was charged twice. Now after all that I have to contact my bank and get them to investigate. This is so ridiculous. Thank you for ruining my Valentine's.

My husband orders me a 20 year anniversary ring set. When he went to pick it up, they just handed him the bag and didn't show him the product. Fine, maybe they were just super busy. However, we went to have the rings soldered together and the service again wasn't great. It took 40 minutes for the girl to figure out what she was doing, again fine, maybe she's training but perhaps someone should be on the floor with her to help. That was 2 weeks ago. We called last night and no one answered the phone. My husband tried again an hour later and whoever he spoke to told him my rings would be 2 more weeks. An entire month for soldering? My friend went to Polo Park location the same day I went to this one, and got hers back a week later. Avoid this location if you can.

Terrible customer service, I would not recommend this place. Lost a stone in a ring that I didn't even own for 6 months and hardly ever wear. I was told the longest the repair would be is 6 wks. Now it's been just over 6 wks and I'm told the ring was shipped back to the store 6 days ago. Staff is not at all friendly and doesn't not care about customers. This is my experience at the Kildonan Place location.

I went there with a watch I had purchased from Mappins, and was shocked to find out that I had to wait three days to have a battery replaced because no one there knew how to do it and they would have to wait that long for a staff member who did, to come in to work. I would have thought that that particular skill would have been included in their training.

The employees here are great and care about their customers. Sadly I don't recall the name of the person that helped me, but they did the very best they could in my situation. Peoples as a whole is not the best company and be careful with their online purchases, but if you need to interact with the company, this is the place to do it.

So embarrassing standing there and not being acknowledged. I ordered a necklace online for pickup and when I got there they couldn't find it. Asked if it was the right location rudely. Poor customer service. Rude and unprofessional. Not recommended and never ordering from people's again.

Have been there many times and they always tend to others before me doesnt seem.to matter how long I have been waiting, last time i stood waiting (3 employees and only 1 other customers in store) and still got no service till I flashed cash. Go anywhere but here they judge you.

The wait here is way too long. The staff never acknowledge people while they wait ... even just to say “hi” or “we’ll be right with you”. Some of the staff are nice once you are able to get inside the store, but some are a bit snobby.

Came to pick up a order. No one offered to help me and then when i asked they gave me my order and rushed me out. Staff wasnt to friendly to me even tho i had just spent thousands. Next time ill choose to take my business elsewhere.

Horrible service. Went there to pick up a chain, the girl went to get it, then stopped and took care of another customer, then came back to me 10 minutes later. I couldn’t believe it. Don’t know her name but she had blue hair.
