Great large space. Has lots of grass area. Has an artificial soccer pitch which you can use for training anytime soccer is not being played on it. Has a good larger half court basketball city with a good rim and backboard. Has a play ground area. Has toilets. Shade is from trees near the play area. Not fenced off from the road. Can get busy. In non Covid times gets very busy in sports days - but hey it’s good it’s being used.

This is a great example of high quality coffee but low service levels. The staff were vacant and it seemed a very long wait to get a coffee, only to learn they had called out just not loud enough for most people to hear. I went back a 2nd and third time to see if it would be any different. Much to my disappointment it was the same. Great coffee but their customer service left a bad tatste.

This synthetic grass soccer field is great, well taken care of. Bathrooms are always clean and all the benches too. Only thing that could be better is shade on some of the stands, but that's too much to ask. Also, the league is very professional and inclusive. Only wish there were food stands on the women matches, as they're only available at the men's matches. Which is kind of annoying

Fantastic artificial turf facilities for all-weather football matches. Complete with ample toilet & changeroom facilities. Great venue for full field or mini-football matches. I am currently playing there in a 6-a-side football comp with 4 matches played simultaneously. Only criticism is the lines can be confusing!

Great space for sports. Needs more rubbish bins as it seems sports teams are unable to clean up after themselves. Lots of dog droppings from irresponsible owners who don't clean up after their pets. A lot of wasted space that looks like a tip for green waste. Play grounds are very old. More seating needed.

Brilliant open air park/sports field. A fantastic family and sporting community vibe during weekends. Large amount of parking and very well taken care of. Park/field is clean. For pet owners, there's gaps along the fence so be careful if you off leash your pet and care as there are kids and family around.

  • Furry Faerie

Large soccer and footy fields that are well lit most nights. Good for evening dog walks (not off leash). Little playground, toilet facilities are a couple of hundred meteres walk.. generally ok as far as public toilets go. Soccer games etc on Saturday and Sundays so can be quite busy.

Always get a good feed at Archie's. It's always cooked fresh. Can wait a little while if you hit the lunchtime or dinner peak. For me I like the spicy bird burger, just the right amount of jalepenos. In the shire it's hard to look past this hidden gem of a burger spot.

This park is large enough to play 4-5 games of touch footy. Also has an artificial turf area for mini soccer, has cricket nets, playground and toilet facilities. The field is often run down, and requires maintenance/ upkeep.

  • Sarah Sandstrom

The playground at the fire station end is good for younger kids. There's a biketrack that goes around the equipment, making it easy to supervise kids riding while being near smaller ones playing on the playground.

  • Linmarg. “STONYBURKE” Field

It was very well organized ,you could see enough people to help you find something.enjoyed the day only thing was the old cars werent there while i was there bt maybe later in the day.great outing for families.

  • Chris

A busy suburb but like other suburbs there are too many people driving their cars for no reason, now I say no reason as they aren't dressed to work and mostly don't have any idea where they are going.

  • Abs Delfuego

Nice park to go for a walk with the dog. Lots of friendly faces I'll most likely never see again and a great peaceful place to slit my wrists on one of those days. 10/10 would end it here …

Amenities include: Playground BBQ Area Picnic tables Soccer fields (2) Mini soccer fields (2) Junior league field (1) League/Touch field (1) Cricket wicket (1) Cricket practice net(2)

  • Thomas Fortuna

Great park, would be nice if there was a source of water near the soccer field though. If you play on the field just check the area as I have seen broken glass near the goal line before.

  • Andrei0914

Great park, has a children's playground on one end, and a synthetic football pitch on the other. The pitch is maintained well, though, the nets are commonly broken off at the bottom.

  • Craig

Great place to watch soccer. Artificial turf makes for a good game. No Gannons park bounce. Sit on the hill with a cold beer on a cold sunny winters day. Livin the dream …

  • Kev Obrien

Council needs to even out the ground. Lots of holes and children could injure themselves playing cricket or OzTAG here. Need to add drinking fountains and shade cloth areas.

  • John M

Park has recently (2020) been refurbished to put in high quality sporting fields, but this has strangely and detrimentally changed the open space original feel of the park.

  • Emanuele Ronda

Excellent facilities for Football...however parking can be limited in peak times..as well streets near park are very narrow, especially if cars parked on either side....

  • Rainer Schmid

Large park that's great for sports. Could really do with an outdoor gym

A large park in Peakhurst mainly used for sports. The park has toilets and change rooms. Unfortunately during wet weather it can become a bit of a mud bowl.
