Ordered Hot Chocolate and "Toasted Banana Bread, buttered" The hot chocolate was good. The banana bread was very average. It wasn't toasted, but warmed up, probably in a microwave and it came with a packet of butter..... Any cafe who provides packets of butter rather than actually buttering the toast, which is what the customer is paying for, is the height of cafe laziness. I would not recommend this cafe of you are looking for good service and a good toasted banana bread.

A handy local Patisserie in the Menai Marketplace shopping Centre. We stop here for a cappuccino and a treat sometimes whilst we are doing the grocery shopping. They make a good cup of coffee and my husband like their Hot Chocolate. Their pies, pastries and cake are also delicious The staff here are lovely and provide great customer service. There is ample seating at their tables and chairs to kick back and enjoy taking a moment during your busy day.

I love you guys. You make my day with your above and beyond service, you all are so sweet. The lady making my coffee always makes it perfect. She knows my order by heart. I also love the chicken schnitzel Turkish sandwiches. Thank you for making my days of work much more enjoyable. And for your consistency in quality

We got a Cannoli Bazooka for my 50th birthday party form the Menai store & it was a huge hit. Not only a novel idea, it also turned out to be easier than a cake as people could just serve themselves. Staff were excellent in arranging it all & with great ideas. Thanks very much.

Thank you to the lovely man that runs this place. I ordered my son the Nutella cake $25 however it wasn’t in stock. They replaced it with the amazing chocolate mud cake $40 instead. He wouldn’t let me pay the extra amount. Such wonderful customer service.

Best quality cakes and service in sydney. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I was served by Paul and he was fantastic. Boy this guy can make a quality coffee too! I’m Italian so trust me I think I know a good coffee when I have one!

Have bought several cakes there in the past and been happy with them but the last one was stale and dry. What an embarrassment to serve that at a birthday and Michels' staff had assured me it was fresh.

Not sure why, but their coffee has gone down hill of late. The last three times we’ve ordered takeaway coffees, we’ve been unable to drink them.....taste like weak warm milk.

Food is okay. But if you eat in, they keep bleaching every table after people leave, which is so pungent, it kills the flavours of what you’re eating. Take-away only.

Just very average. I suspect the pastries are pretty good, but the egg and bacon roll (pictured) and the coffee were pretty average.

Coffee is lovely, staff/owners are lovely too, just a lovely place to rest before or after you do your shopping
