A friend of mine applied to MRU for autumn intake for her Bachelor's program. All the required documents were attached to the site on time except the final board exam transcript because she hasn't received received her final transcript yet and she was in her final studies this year and the country we are from takes time to give the final transcript to their students. Regardless of that, all her transcripts of terminal exams were attached to the site. But, the university did not consider the situation at all, and told her that they cannot proceed forward until they receive the final exam transcript, and they told her to send them when she receives it. She told them that her results will only be out by the end of August and after that she will have to wait for at least 15 days to receive the actual transcript. They still told her to get back only once she receives the transcript. When her final examination result was out by the end of August. She attached her online examination report to the site, but they didn't seem to consider that still. Coming from the background where the board exam results are only out by the end of August and to get the actual transcript, we need to wait for at least 15 days. Later, she again asked them to understand the situation, but they didn't seem to care at all. The university said that they would only accept if she provides them with the final transcript, and told her to be back to them once she receives her final transcript. When she did send them the final transcript which was already in mid September, then they replied again saying that she is late already to apply for this year. Please, apply next year! The admission process was not smooth at all, and they didn't understand the situation at all. All the universities i have been to, they don't require final board exam transcript beforehand if we are in our final year of our studies or we haven't received it yet from the university because they know that those reports/transcripts are only handed very late during the year, and still other universities provide acceptance letter and using those they get visa. But, here they simply didn't proceed her application further at all as other universities do. With that, she has missed the deadlines to other universities as well for autumn intake.

I have been an Erasmus student for 1 year in this university. I can say that the Erasmus coordinateur is really good, as an Erasmus student you will experience a very nice introduction week, where you will be able to meet student from all around the world. The international office is really reactive when you have problems. Concerning the lectures, it is another story ,as a business and management student, I can say that the content of the lectures is really poor, and most of the professeurs are uninteresting. Some of them even frequently cancel the lecture at the last, and do 30 minutes of class instead of 3 hours initially scheduled… Concerning the university it self, the bulging is modern, and you the library is really nice. The university is situated in the north of the city, 30 minutes by bus from the city centre. The district of the university is really depressing as it is surrounded by Soviet buildings. In conclusion if you want to do an Erasmus, if it is your only choice it is still 100% worth it but if you have other options, for sure you can find much better than MRU.

Šiame universitete turėjau galimybę išlaikyti TOEFL. Smagu, kad čia galima išlaikyti šį egzaminą. Suskubėjau išlaikyti šį testą, o Minske viskas buvo užsakyta, todėl nusprendžiau keliauti į Vilnių, kad čia jį išlaikyčiau. Labai džiaugiausi organizacija. Egzaminas buvo laikomas profesionaliai. Labai ačiū organizatoriams.

A nice, modern school that is a home to plently of students, local and international alike. The system of the buildings can be rather confusing and it's easy to get lost in the beginning. It also needs improvement in its english descriptions as the staff doesn't speak english to help.

The admission team takes toooo much time to replay, they don't reply to emails and messages on Whatsapp most of the time u need to call them on WhatsApp, it's been more than 45 days . And I don't have the acceptance letter yet !!! I should have applied to VU or Vtech
