I made a decision that I needed to prioritize my mental and physical health a few months ago. The last couple of years have been mentally exhausting, and with significant demands at work and a young family, my physical well being was not a priority...I knew that had to change... I have driven by Movati many times (close to where I live) and was intrigued. I have been a member of other gyms in the past, with mixed results. I dropped by, without an appointment and was immediately blown away, as soon as I entered the reception area. It did not immediately "feel like a gym" (which was surprisingly refreshing). The front desk staff were welcoming and I was able to get an impromptu walk through of the gym and amenities, from Matt (great experience - and I did not feel any pressure to sign-up). He explained all the options and I felt very comfortable (and more importantly, excited) making the decision to sign up on the spot. I scheduled my complimentary assessment for the very next day, and met with Ephraim. He had a wealth of knowledge to share and explained different programs that could help in my fitness journey. I politely declined (without any added pressure), as I weighed cost and wanted to ensure that I took the necessary baby steps to reintroduce myself to healthier habits. I did express a possible future interest in personal training sessions, but with a hectic work / life - flexibility was more important at the time... I also signed up to a complimentary "Movati Strong" session, with Mark, the following day after my assessment - and I can see the benefits of these classes, as well... I am happy to say that it has been just over 3 months now, and I have lost over 30 lbs (predominantly cardio, and mindful eating). I am thankful and fortunate that my work has allowed me to prioritize (I find time during the day to step away) my mental and physical health, and that Movati has provided me the facilities to feel comfortable in this journey. I am constantly greeted with a warm hello and goodbye from the front desk staff (when not busy), and to this day - both Matt and Ephraim make a conscious effort to say hello by name, when I see them at the gym. I have also just embarked on the next leg of my fitness journey and have signed up with a personal trainer (Nathaniel) to help me come up with a plan and cut through all the information available on the internet... I am thankful and excited...and to the staff of Movati, I look forward to continuing this journey together...from my own personal experience, I would recommend this gym to anyone who asks... Werner

I previously went to an upscale gym in Ajax and Woodbridge for 7 years so that set the bar for me as it was super clean, had excellent equipment and great classes. Movati feels like it is trying to copy that US-based gym right down to the architecture. It’s really nice and I do love it, however it just isn’t quite as nice so I’m knocking a star off for all of the minor issues CONS - no hand towels. I sweat profusely and this was a big reason for me having gotten towel service. It’s a gym so that makes no sense - there are not enough mirrors surrounding the weight machines on the second floor - equipment is not very new - they expect you to bring your own yoga equipment rather than providing it. Mats, sure, but one class I saw required you to bring balls of some sort, and some other stuff. Why isn’t this available? - you need to bring your own lock as the locks are not integrated into the locker which is a pain - there are no razors, q-tips, mouthwash, etc in the change room - the InBody machine is not available for member use. Wth is that about? They had one at both locations of my previous gym on the gym floor and it never got damaged. How can I track my progress if I can’t use it?? PROs - there are so many classes I don’t even know which ones to sign up for because it’s hard to choose! It is INCREDIBLE - the instructors I’ve had so far have been excellent, and for the most part friendly. The Zumba instructors in particular are amazing. Their choreography is easy to follow and fun vs some others I have experienced - it is very clean. I’ve gone to 7 gyms in my life and this is the second cleanest. The showers do not smell fresh tho. My previous gym had a person assigned to the locker room and they were constantly cleaning the showers. - convenient location - reasonable price for the experience. It is less than my previous gym but still more than the usual chain gyms - the team at the front desk is very nice and helpful. In fact most employees have been, though some of the trainers manning the desk on the second floor could be a bit more approachable. They sometimes seem irritated if I ask a question. In summary, I really love the gym, just there are a few things I think could be improved upon.

Worst gym experience ever. I just transferred from Equinox to Movati because it was closer to where i live, however, i had encountered the worst customer service today. When i first walked in, and scanned the barcode, the girl at the front desk YELLED ‘you have an outstanding balance of 6 days on your account’ in front of everyone and when the gym was the most crowded. I said it was impossible since i just joined the gym and paid a week ago upstairs from my credit card. I smiled to make the situation less awkward and she didn’t even glance me or said anything. Then a guy came up and said yes you have an outstanding balance let me check your bank account and took my phone to check my account details. He said the information was wrong and fixed it. Then i asked if i could go workout he said ‘yes, but just so you know, the doors will not open for you next time you are here if you don’t pay’ in a ver rude attitude. Mind you, i had booked a class for 12 pm and I was there early but since the staff had yelled at me, i was in front if the class exactly at 12 pm. The instructor, Zhana, saw me and closed the door on me while making eye contact with me saying ‘it is 12 pm, you are late and everyone else is early, and they are already ready to start the class’. At this point, I had no tolerance to this kind if behaviour and rudeness. So i left without saying anything. She had a very rude and unwelcoming attitude towards me even though I wasn’t even late and to set up for the class only takes couple seconds, so nobody would be late because of me. I want to cancel my membership i do not care what it takes. It is a horrible place, worst customer service, very unwelcoming and would not be a good fit for a beginner. Also, when i first went to the gym to have a tour and see what i am paying for, the 2 people who forcefully showed me around were very irritated and gave me very unwelcoming, judgy looks. Anyone who wants to join, please don’t!

Buyer beware, if you are interested in joining a gym but are not sure 100% that this is the one DO NOT COME HERE. My friend and I had the worst experience with a sales rep. We are looking to join a gym, but we were checking the gyms around the area and movati was one of them so we went in to ask for some information. We got to the reception they ask us for our info, and ask us to wait for a sales rep. Tour was nice, the guy was super nice, gave us a great explanation about the gym, gym is nice. Then we went to his desk, and gave us the gym prices. We explained him politely that we were not going to join at that moment as we were still not ready to join at that exact moment. OMG, he started to get very rude and very aggressive. He said why we didn’t tell him in the beginning that we were not going to join today. Why we went there if we live far…..Why we wasted his time (pretty much). We feel that because we were women he was more aggressive. I worked in sales and this is not how you behave with a potential customer, I was a closer and I know the tactics but one thing is never get aggressive with the customers. Not every customer is guaranteed sale. Horrible, horrible experience. Like I said before, if you are not sure you are joining the day you go to check out the gym, DO NOT GO. Save yourself a bad experience.

My experience is with the women’s area only. Women’s area for the membership fee improvements are needed. Cons:There is a lack of floor space for exercising and free range of movement. Your stuck with using corners if you want to do sit ups, squats, etc. This could be easily remedied by removing all but two of the stairclimbers and Cybex Arc trainers that aren’t really used and creating a padded floor space. Maybe with the Child care room closing that space can be used to expand the women’s area. Broken equipment takes an unacceptable time to be fixed. Pretty much all their treadmills should be replaced with new ones. There is a Woodway treadmill has been broken for several months as well as an elliptical machine. Both broken since summer. They claim to do maintenance every Thursday but the machines for some reason don’t get fixed. The women’s section is constantly busy. Given what members pay per month the equipment should be current and more space is needed. Pros: gym is kept clean. You see staff cleaning the bathrooms and gym areas frequently which is great. They also supply disinfectant wipes to wipe down equipment. Pool is a good size and kept clean.

I cannot believe the disgusting service I received today. Ash, one of the sales representatives, took me on a tour around the gym because I was interested in getting a membership for my mum and I. After the tour he then proceeded to pressure me to put a payment down for a membership when I politely told him many times that i wanted to sign up at the same time with my mum in a couple of days. He quickly got very angry and started questioning where my mom is right now etc etc. Very personal questions that crossed the line. He was so rude and condescending and it made me so uncomfortable that I left and will never be going back. Keep in mind, I work in sales as well so I know how it works. But when someone tells you POLITELY so many times and you start to insult them, it becomes a different story. Stay in your lane, treating anybody like that is absolutely disgusting. Movati Burlington lost 2 potential long term clients, and I will be sure to spread the word to everyone I know to stay very far away from this company. Sorry you couldn’t make commission on me buddy, I rather flush my money down the toilet then give you a cent of my money. Disgusting

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing outstanding customer service and genuine friendliness at Movati Athletic Gym. I couldn't be more pleased with the exceptional service and support I received during my visits. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with a warm smile and a welcoming attitude. Amit Virdi went above and beyond to ensure that my gym experience was nothing short of remarkable. His friendly demeanour and willingness to assist with any questions or concerns I had truly made a significant difference in my gym routine. The exceptional customer service at Movati Athletic Gym has made my gym visits an absolute pleasure. The positive atmosphere they create has not only improved my overall gym experience but also encouraged me to maintain a regular fitness routine. In summary, I cannot recommend Movati Athletic Gym enough. If you're looking for a gym where you're not just another member but a valued part of a supportive community, this is the place to be. I am truly grateful for the exceptional service I've received from Amit and look forward to many more visits to this exceptional gym!

My husband and I have been members for almost a year and I was recommending this club to my friends. However, their recent decision to close playrooms at all locations makes it impossible for us to continue attending this gym. The staff at movati burlington playroom was beyond excellent, it was always in full attendance (sometimes it was even hard to get a spot at the room). Maybe some other locations do not need the playroom, that's understandable. But this particular club is in Burlington (Milcroft/Orchard area) which are predominantly family neighborhoods, its all families with children who live here. I'm not sure movati executives understand well who their target audience is for this club. Also if it was the revenue issue, they could have just raised the playroom fees and I'm sure families would be okay to pay more. I can't say enough of how excersise was instrumental for our family's mental and physical health. It'll be completely inaccessible for us staring November. Also, now there is no difference between Movati or LA fitness or Goodlife which are all 5 min drive from each other.

Movati is my happy place I enjoy every moment I spend there .. my favorite class is Yoga , and the best yoga trainer there with no comparison is definitely Ron L. He stands out for sure .. the way he trains the yogis is absolutely amazing. He cares , he travel between the trainees during the class & make sure each and every one of them is doing the postures correctly. Ron gives it all , I wish he can get more times from whatever he is scheduled to do , it’s hard to get into his classes as it gets full few moments after the registration is open. I do commute for 35-40 minutes waiting for anyone who wont show up in order for me to get into his class. Ron L is the best. It’s guaranteed anytime you try one of his classes you will come back again. Thank you Ron for all the care & passionate that you give during your classes.

Good clean atmosphere with lots of space and equipment. Staff is also super friendly especially at the check in desk. I like the juice bar offerings as well and change rooms are generally quite clean. Haven't checked the pool area yet. I like popping in here few times a week. Reason for the 4 and not 5 stars is because I got my brother to sign up for a 1 month membership and he was charged the same initiation fee as an annual membership which I found odd. I asked management and they said it pays for staff etc and so if that is the case it's only fair the fee is prorated based on the tenure of your membership. When I wrote to their head office I didn't get a reply to my email which I found careless. I like this gym but I don't like when companies set rudimentary policies without conscience. Like my review if you agree?

The gym itself is really nice I purely joined it based on the women’s only gym. However their maintenance staff on Thursdays is ridiculous, there are men in the women’s showers and change room. Lots of women have religious accommodations including me and having men in the women’s showers knocking on the doors is completely out of hand. I witnessed a women coming out naked not knowing that a man was knocking on her door. This is completely out of hand. We pay so much to have access to a women’s gym, yet movati can’t hire women to handle the maintenance. Or even have women to let us know there are men in the changing area. I have to wait a whole hour because I was nervous a man will come into the womens area

  • Melissa Torelli

I love this gym. I love it mainly for the fact that it is always spotless and the amenities are top notch. HOWEVER, I don’t like that last weekend, at 6 pm (club closes at 7), the women’s sauna was being shut down, there were cleaning folks just waiting in the change rooms for us to leave. When clearly, the club is open until 7. I respect the fact that everyone working wants to get home on a Saturday, but I felt like I was being thrown out of the facilities. You’ve got folks who pay their membership dues and who appreciate a higher level experience than being thrown out by shutting down the amenities. In that case, close at 6 then? We can do better than that surely

"Everyone Belongs Here" ... except parents and caregivers. Movati's choice to close the playroom is a massive loss. It is not for "declining use" as told to the parents, but instead to make room for a Pilates reformer studio. The Playroom at the Burlington location was *always* busy, and in fact they even recently hired more staff specifically for the Playroom. This choice disproportionately affects women, who take on a majority of the childcare in the home, and with fewer and fewer fitness centers offering childcare (now only two facilities in Burlington - YMCA and LA Fitness on Brant), parents/mothers/caregivers are now disproportionately underserviced.

Ron from Movati (Burlington location) ignited my love for yoga a few years ago and he continues to be the best! His hot yoga classes are my absolute favourite and he makes it an experience. They’re great for all levels as he offers modifications but also has elements of challenge if you require it. He curates amazing playlists so the music is perfect for the vibe of the class - I always discover new artists and songs and it really adds to the energy of the room. At the end of each class, he reads a beautiful manta and it sets your day for success! Thank you Ron!!! The gym and all facilities are great and clean.

  • Kerrie Jack

Our family loved coming to this club. However, their decision to scrap childcare in favour of adding another studio with add-on costs kind of disgusts me from a values perspective. They say they are a club that values family, accessibility, and inclusivity, but ultimately decided to demonstrate how disposable and undervalued primary caregivers of small children are in our community, as if we needed another reminder. I don’t think that I want to support a company who very willingly (and dishonestly) makes big decisions without member input that disproportionately affect women in a negative way. Huge bummer.

Amazing gym! Staff are all very professional and helpful and friendly. Kesley did a great job with my initial assessment and thoroughly recommended fitness options for me to pursue. For someone who's never been to a gym in yeeeeeaaars, I didn't think I could stay motivated, but doing personalized training with Ali changed all that! He customized a program for me, and the results have been amazing and only after a few months. Ali also has me do boxing for warmup, which is a nice perk in addition to weight and strength training. Bottom line, I'm hooked and always looking forward to hitting this gym!

Great gym Women area ( free weights,mats,machines,sauna , steam, Jacuzzi,big pool,bathrooms,changing rooms,showers,shampoos,conditioner,shower gel,blow dryers, mirrors , lockers,classes,water dispensers,towels ) Mix area (men&women) (bigger ) ( body building classes,free weights, machines,sauna , steam, Jacuzzi,big pool,bathrooms,changing rooms,showers,shampoos,conditioner,shower gel,blow dryers, mirrors , lockers,classes,towels) Very clean Starbucks down stairs . Roughly 60$ biweekly *should work more on customer with children. *I would suggest a play area for older kids and classes till 9pm.

  • Eugene Trufanov

I've been a client since December 2022 and in the beginning I was very satisfied with Movati. Unfortunately, last weeks this service was not acceptable. Something is always broken and not being fixed for a while. I see the sign "Temporary out of service" more often, than a Movati logo - probably, that's their new motto. Today I had to wait in a line just to get a shower because lots of them were closed! I was looking to renew this year, but with such attitude towards clients I'll better go to competitors - maybe not way better, but it will be twice cheaper. Sad, I really liked going here.

Movati Athletic has changed my life for good. There are several reasons for that, and I will start by sharing what a great, clean, vibrant place it is. My favorite part is the fact that there are over 100 classes to choose from. I usually get bored with a routine and need a variety. This is the only place where I have been able to get that - from yoga, piltate, zumba, step sculpt, aqua aerobics to spinning ; one gets so many options. I try and go 3 to 4 times a week, and each time, I am so looking forward to spending my time at this gym. It has given me a new purpose to my life.

  • Kellie Gamble

I have been a big fan of this gym for the four years I've been a member. However, they just notified all parents that their child care is no longer going to be open in November. Members pay a premium for kids to come for a 1-2 hour play with some excellent staff members. This is so disappointing as they could have created a kids fitness program, or yoga studio for kids. Now instead of creating an engaging experience - they have left parents like me very disappointed and looking to change gyms. What is the point paying so much, if there is no childcare.

  • Soheil Bakhshivash

I've been going to this gym since 2019 and I love it. The best part is the variety of classes they offer. At ny given day and time, there is always some classes that you can enjoy. I also love their swimming pool and hot tub. Yes, it could be a bit larger maybe but it's almost never crowded in there and you can enjoy your swim. I deduct one star because lately it has gotten way too crowded than before. I believe the management has signed up more members than they should have. It's becomming harder and harder to find a class not full 3 days in advance.

  • Javier Rodríguez

Since we arrived to Canada everything has been extremely difficult, new language, new culture, new jobs, at Movati we had found a minute of the day to be able to disconnect, both I and my wife are members of the gym, however we very much regret the decision to close the child care department, we have 2 children whom we always took with us to the gym, today with the closure of the daycare this will be impossible, so we will be forced to cancel our membership and thereby lose the few moments in the week that we had to distract ourselves

  • Victoria Adams

Really nice facility, have been going to Movati Burlington for approximately 3 months now. I highly recommend joining movati if you haven’t already. I have been to multiple gyms before and this is the best one I have been to. I tend to use the women’s area the most as the co-ed section can get over crowded. I just wish the women’s section had more equipment/ machines and less treadmills. It would nice to have a smith machine in the women’s section if possible or a second one in the co-ed section.

  • Momina Makbool

Edmonton Alberta Windermere Location Review The aquatics, equipment and ladies-only classes, and areas offered at this gym create a welcoming atmosphere. The staff have been fantastic and accommodating. However, my only complaint is that the women's gym area feels cramped, and the upper gym area is often overcrowded, given the number of clients. It would be beneficial to expand the facilities. Shout out to your amazing staff in particular Shadden & Camilla

  • Carol Doolan

Alexander Richardson "s ( personal trainer at Movati) extensive knowledge in his field of fitness and well being was evident throughout our conversation ( my first orientation exercise at Movati) especially when he explained the results of my body scan and I was truly impressed by his expertise. I feel fortunate to have met such a knowledgeable and dedicated instructor and I am confident that his guidance will greatly contribute to my fitness journey.

  • Chase Dale

I love this gym. Up until a few weeks ago it was very pleasant but it is becoming more and more common to not re rack your weights. I understand that to alot of people the 45s are easy to move but just because it's easy for you doesn't mean it's easy or even possible for everyone. Having to ask someone to move weights remove every sense of individuality and to some it can be very embarrassing. Very dissatisfied with the way the gym it right now.

  • nickolas moustakas

I’ve been coming to this gym for the last year and I’ve never had a poor experience. Incredible cleaning crew, incredible sales rep and always a pleasant experience walking in and out. Be mindful of peak hours, you might have to wait a bit for a machine to pop open. However, with the amount of machines and space they have, you always have the pleasure of modifying your workout as you wait for your piece of equipment to open up.

  • Erica V

Absolutely incredible facility! The front desk staff are always so friendly and welcoming. The account representative Michael was super helpful when it came to answering my questions about the facility and amenities and helped me to figure out what classes would best suit my goals. I am also a big fan of the sauna, even on days when I'm not doing my usual class or strength training, it's nice to have it available to relax!

  • Amanda R

Good Equipment. Good Class list You can’t bring even a mini bag into the workout area which is annoying. Very difficult to juggle water bottle, personal equipment etc To many time I’ve walked in when I wasn’t greeted nor asked for a towel being I’m the “Blue membership” but it’s just a towel. I do love a great smile greeting though :) All in all, it has pretty much everything you need and someone is always cleaning

  • Bharti Bhardwaj

love it here! except for one thing - the gym closes at 11, and far too often, they start cleaning the women's showers at 10, and sometimes even a bit earlier. I get everyone is just trying to get home, but if someone wanted to use the shower really quickly, they still have an hour to do so (and likely would only take like 15-20 mins max). Not to mention we pay for the amenity. otherwise, i've really liked it here.

  • K Kwan

The staff exhibited poor behavior with rudeness and disrespect. He lacks of basic facility knowledge is evident when I asked about class or room locations, receiving an unacceptable response of "I don't know, go figure it out yourself." in result I missed my class, wondering the whole facility like an idiot. This left a particularly negative impression, especially when the guest was on trial.

  • Samra Al-qaysi

Very clean facility and friendly staff. Absolutely fantastic experience with RON L. his classes are incredibly well structured, offering a perfect balance of relaxation and challenge. His guidance is clear and attentive to everyone’s needs. I’ve seen significant improvement in my flexibility and inner peace since joining his class. Highly recommended for beginners and experienced yogis.

  • Lauren

I have been a member at Movati for over a year and am extremely disappointed they have decided to remove childcare from every location! My children loved going and now the gym is no longer accessible for me. This gym is supposed to be family friendly but they only seem to care about profit. There was no discussion about the decision with members. I will be taking my business elsewhere!

  • Luciana Seidel

Movati is a great gym! Clean and with great Trainers! I feel safe there! My Personal Trainer is great. I was too unmotivated and shy to go to the gym. I had Mark as my personal trainer and now I noticed a positive change in my body and life. I am happy and now more confident with myself. I definitely recommend Mark and Movati to anyone looking for great quality of personal training!!

  • Khan Waqar

I use to go to Movati in Burlington best gym ever . I moved to hamilton and they don’t have a gym in stoney creek Ancaster or in hamilton there is a huge demand but I am not sure why Movati would not open a gym in any of the area I have mentioned above . I really hope they consider opening one gym soon in either Ancaster stoney creek or in hamilton

  • Nav

I have just recently joined Movati in Burlington and it has been amazing so far! The gym is constantly being cleaned and the staff is very kind. Ashkar showed me around and made sure I was comfortable and was very accommodating. I have tried many classes and have worked out in all areas of the gym and can say that this is the gym for everyone.

  • Sam El

I feel very frustrated coming all the way for the aqua class that they never mentioned about a "male LG" presence at the "women's only pool", as they usually do. I had to leave the pool before the start of the class . Disappointed . How hard is it to hire a lady LG for the "women's only pool" or at least mention that in the APP!‍♀️ …

  • Shaheer Izhar

Customer service is definitely on a decline at the club. For one of the most expensive gyms in the area you would expect higher customer service and overall a premium experience. But seems like more and more younger kids are being hired and they could care less to be there. Also would be nicer if they were open a little later on weekends.

  • Andrew

Member for many years. Great place, very clean, but it has become brutally busy and overcrowded. Be prepared to wait for benches and line up for a shower stall. Management is likely bonused completely on new membership and not at all on existing member satisfaction. Unfortunately it's the best of bad options, which they must know.

  • Bipasha G

I never post negative comments, but I feel the need of warning any potential client to be aware of this gym, how un-professional and rude they are and how they treat clients. Movati Athletic seems to only care about making money rather than building relationships and retaining clients. I would not recommend this gym to anyone.

  • Harnake Saggu

I have been to many gyms across the GTA and Halton region and Movati Burlington has by far been cleanest facility I have ever been to. Amit was great with setting me up and being knowledgeable about any questions I had about the facility. The gym has a variety of classes and equipment that keeps you excited to go to the gym!

  • Kiran Sidhu

Ash from Movati Burlington is awesome and went out of his way to accommodate my schedule and help make recommendations very personalized to my goals. This gym is huge, very well taken care of, and has lots of great amenities. Lots of parking space as well. Staff has always been very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

  • 100 2

Was disappointed to learn that this is not a high end gym, even though they charge like one. Work out machines are comparable to a Crunch Fitness. Managers that will not take accountability for there responsibilities. Staff that choose to gossip instead of respecting customers or the owners / investors of Movati. Poor

  • Gurnoor Kahlon

Great experience at Movati, Ashkar, one the employees there was great to work with as he gave me a detailed tour of the building as well as made a clean and quick process to sign up and get started. Currently enjoying my experience here and would highly recommend it to anyone new to the gym or an avid gym goer.

Movati Yoga with Ron is so much more than just a yoga class. The atmosphere he creates with music, readings and poses make each visit a restorative and rejuvenating experience. Movati has a lot to offer, but Ron is the reason I have stayed a member for five years. Only wish he had more regular weekly classes!

  • Ellana Eadie

Cassandra was so nice, professional, and welcoming! I wasn’t sure whether I could feel comfortable at a big gym, but after my experience with Cassandra and seeing the beautiful location with a large women’s only section, I was sold on Movati! Thank you Cassandra for being so kind and making me feel at home.

  • Teressa Jackson

I have learned and been challenged so much by my Personal trainer, Ali Ali. I love boxing/kickboxing and he is very skilled in both. Ali is very flexible with his schedule and regularly introduces new weight training methods. Classes are amazing. I especially love the yoga classes that Michelle C instructs.

  • Luis Miguel Guzmán

I've been there since February and can tell that it is a good gym, the staff is really friendly and helpful. It's nice to be welcome always with a smile, makes you feel good. They have a lot of classes, machines and rooms to be in, the steam room is one of the things to do after exercise yourself …

  • Dave Bour

Great gym. Love the yoga. Tough to pick a favourite instructor as most are amazing but Ron stands out. He has almost a cult following. Try his class. You will understand, then the days he brings his guitar in, even better. As it is, I'm there 7 days a week but wish I had more time to do more.

Wow this gym is next level! So clean, various areas, women’s only pool/steam/sauna, and not intimidating. Ash Singh was really chill and informative. I didn’t feel pressured and he was super nice. He really listened to why I wanted a membership and even showed me pictures of his dog!

Great gym and everyone is super friendly. Absolutely love the yoga classes here. The instructors are all great but would love to see more of Ron’s classes! Between the great playlists and his positive energy, it really has become my favourite class to attend each week.

I came in today to learn about the gym and all the amenities and Shamir did a great job. He was patient, very informative, and was very friendly throughout the process. Doing orientation with him was smooth and seamless. Amazing experience compared to where I’ve been.

Love the gym, but would love to see more classes in future between 1-5pm. There are very less classes during that time and also would like to see more aqua classes, they are always fully booked. Would love for them to stay open longer on weekends. At least till 12 am.

Evan helped me with getting all set up and comfortable here at Movati. It was my first experience going to a gym and Evan helped me get started on my journey. I now love coming to Movati to exercise, genuinely has the best facility in Burlington for personal fitness.

I did personal training with Alex for roughly 3 months and saw huge improvements within that span. Alex did an awesome job tailoring my training so I can see improvements on the ice and in other sports. Highly recommend Alex if you are looking into personal training!

Just wanted to share my awesome experience at this location ! I had the privilege of meeting and dealing with Ash. I’ve tried multiple different gyms and have met many different reps but Ash took the time to help me find a plan that works best ! Thanks so much

  • Rochelle

Love it here! Staff are friendly and classes are fantastic. Really love Brian and Sandra for spin classes, Wil for TRX and tabata and Amelia for hot yoga! Only downfall is classes fill up quick. Oh and Mike at the front is great and makes a mean americano!

Movati is one of the cleanest gyms, high vibing & luxurious gyms in Canada. They have great people working for this company including one of the best Ashkar Singh who bring amazing customer service experience as an account rep. Thank you for all you do.

  • Manpreet Singh

Super impressed with the friendliness of the staff. The facility is always clean, staff is always helping put weights away. I was given a great tour of the club before I signed up with Ash. Highly recommend! This is the place where you want to be.

  • Nura Askar

Great facilities, cleanliness and respectful crowd. Terrible experience in terms of customer service when I encountered a billing issue - definitely not the experience expected at a high end gym in terms of flexibility and treatment of customers.

  • Sandip Sidhu

I have joined many gyms over the years and this is by far the best and cleanest facility I have ever been to. Ashkar was great with familiarizing me with programs/equipment. Tons of classes and options for everybody. This will be my gym for life.

  • arwa elzayaat

extremely disappointed in their decision to all of a sudden cancel childcare. no value for our business as parents. i choose Movati despite paying high premiums because it offered childcare. my son loved coming with me to the gym. terrible idea

Ron has really made my sister and I fall in love with yoga with his unique way of teaching and amazing playlists. His classes are always the highlight of our week. Would love to see more of his classes as many others would as well.

Super clean gym with a multitude of choices for classes and terrific, dedicated staff. Manager Matt is always upbeat and friendly. Feels more like a resort gym. Equipment is modern and women's only facilities are nicely appointed.

  • Meagan Poff

Was very disappointed to find out they were cancelling their playroom. The playroom was a big selling point for a lot of parents. Seems like a shortsighted decision considering how many families live in the area.

  • Tom Kirkland

Best gym in the area because of the employees! Halley and Ben are always smiling and helpful at 5AM, they are great! The members are nice and the gym is clean and packed with great equipment. …

  • Raza Zaheer

The club espouses “values” proudly inside the club but clearly those values are not extended to families with children or primary care givers who are mainly women. No different than GoodLife now.

  • Youssef Zaghloul

Shamir & Jordan were the best! Very professional and a good representation for Movati! It was a pleasure working with them to welcome a new member of the family to this gym! Impressive work

  • Gagan Kaur

Had a great experience touring Movati. The gym has so much to offer for all different levels. Staff are passionate and educated on the various programs offered. I’m excited to join!

  • Jena Yakoob

Such a great personal training experience with Mark Filice. He was so knowledgeable, professional and made the working out sessions enjoyable. Highly recommend him.

  • Francisca Valdivieso

The most amazing thing of this gym was the daycare. My daughter came here since she was 3 month old and now they are closing, so now is inaccessible for moms.

  • Chandra Guilday

Not just a “gym”. Ron in the Zen Lounge provides an amazing physical, mental & spiritual practice through hot yoga. The facility is also top notch.

  • Jeff Crowder

Been a member since March 2023 and am really liking it. Pool isn't usually busy, yoga classes are good and it's kept pretty clean.

  • Rey

Great experience with movati for more than one year. Enjoy my gym time, great work with PT, group sessions and athletic therapy.

  • Sandra Nguyen

Amit gave me a tour of the gym when I visited! Love the facility and his energy was great. He’s an amazing addition to the team

  • Julie Wilson

Burlington club is all it’s advertised as. Clean, friendly and lots to do to stay fit. Ron the yoga teacher is exceptional.

Burlington’s best gym by far. Staff is super friendly. Always greeted with a smile when I come in
