Edit: Description added The two stars is for poor communication. We were told our car would take 4-5 days to repair. We were rung later the same day and told our keys had been accidentally run over and destroyed, then not long after were rung back to say it was actually a different car and our keys were fine. Obviously this was a relief but didn’t fill us with confidence. We were then rung the next day (day 2) to say our car was ready to be picked up. We queried if everything had been done as this was ahead of schedule and they assured us it was. Arrived to pick up the car and was given the keys and told it was all done, upon inspection it was obvious the job was only half done. An assessor came out and inspected the vehicle and agreed it hadn’t been finished. We were told the repairer must have missed it and we’ll have to bring it back, he (the assessor) would personally chase it up and we wouldn’t be forgotten about. Two days later and we’d heard nothing so rung up. We were told the part we needed was on back order so this was why it wasn’t finished and we booked in another date to drop off. Dropped off car and was told it would be ready by mid afternoon. Got to 4pm and no one had called, so again we initiated contact and rung up. We were told the car had been ready for an hour and the receptionist thought someone else had called us and apologised. Everyone was very apologetic and pleasant to deal with, but there was a lot of ball dropping and very poor communication. The repair itself (when completed) seems to be of a high standard so we are grateful for that.

This is a negative review for firstly a job not done right and secondly horrible customer service. My car had a smashed rear windscreen and had shards of glass inside the booth cavity and needed to be removed. I was told by a customer service agent ( working in the capacity of triaging the vehicle) by the name of Will that I am best to use my insurance as a glass repairer will not be able to remove the glass shards internally as it requires a major booth removal. Will was rather nonchalant about this and candidly dismissed my suggestion of taking it to an external glass repairer who would find the job within a day. A week later I make my way back to Brookvale that is an hour from where I live as it was the next available motor serve that had an appointment. To begin with, there were multiple shards of glass still in booth not vacuumed. And to my horror at 430 on a Friday afternoon when opening my booth I can hear the glass creaking away . The very reason as to why I chose the insurance in the first place ! Will had the cheek to firstly not own up to the mistake and was extremely obnoxious and rude. I had been left without a car for a week and yet he had the audacity to tell me he will make no promises and will check on Monday when it can be done. At the same time another mechanic who was present stated they will prioritise my car on Monday morning. Motorserve Brookvale has dropped the ball big time and need to evaluate who they hire in customer service. Especially to a customer who has just experienced a great level of disservice.

After recent not-at-fault damage to my personal vehicle, and lodging an online claim that night, which was immediately approved that night and nominating MotorServe Brookvale as the repairers, an inspection appointment was made online that night for the next morning. Leaving home the next morning, driving 20 minutes to Brookvale, completing the inspection, given a taxi voucher by office staff to Avis Brookvale to pick up an approved loan vehicle, walking outside to the waiting taxi, travelling to Avis and undergoing the paperwork process, then driving 20 minutes home, took only a total of 60 minutes, yes, only 60 minutes! The drop-off process to pick up my repaired vehicle was similarly efficient. The repairs were also flawless, including a polish, making my 2.5 year old vehicle look like new! Well done, MotorServe Brookvale, and all of your staff! My wife also recently had her vehicle serviced by MotorServe Brookvale, it was a similar process and outcome. We couldn't be more pleased, based on these experiences with MotorServe Brookvale. Congratulations!

HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED On 17 Jan, I had my Hyundai IX35 Highlander car service done at Brookvale service centre (NSW). The paper work looks fantastic and no one would be happy about the services provided. But I was shocked and disappointed to find out that many lists were unchecked and serviced. 1. Dates on service sticker and logbook were not matching. 2. $17 charged on workshop supply. For what and why? 3. All exterior lights were not checked properly. 4. Lied about complimentary car wash and vacuum. (not a big deal) 5. Bonus $25 AmpolCash Card not provided as advertised if the booking made before 15 Jan. It was all just to fill up the pages as if the services were done properly. How many customers would have gone under the same situation for all these years? Don't just fill up the papers. List down only if the service is carried out. Don't put people in pain after all money, hopes and promises at the end. Please take an action. Don't just words promising and sweet.

“Very unprofessional service.” I handed over my almost-new Toyota RAV4, under 4,000 miles on it, after an accident where I wasn't even at fault. Given my insurance ties with your place, I expected a bit more respect. But nope, communication was zero during the repairs. When I finally got my car back, asking what happened got me a casual "some other guys did it, but no worries, lifetime guarantee." Well, guess what? Lifetime guarantee doesn't cover a surprise dash leather mark, a rear tire that looks like it partied too hard (check the pic), and a rear door panel that's now playing peek-a-boo with some plastic thing (again, see the pic). And yeah, my car looked like it took a dust bath. If this is your version of service, I'll pass. Others might want to too.

Do not take your car here. Dropped 4WD down stating “feels like the clutch is going”, 1.4K later for a whole bunch of peripheral items they claimed the car has been test driven and fixed When we picked the car up, it’s in worse condition then when it went in. drove ~1km and clutch is still slipping, smoke is coming out the exhaust and apparently it was test driven!!! Took the car back the next day, and they now decide it is the clutch, charge an additional 2.2+ and are resistant to let us test drive it before paying? Only good thing about this place is one lovely mechanic - unsure of his name though.

I never provide reviews but I wanted to highly recommend Motorserve Brookvale who won my trust after recently repairing my car after a minor accident. They had my car for two weeks and after a few days I realised that I had mistakenly left a large amount of cash in my glove box. When I picked my car up it was all still there - much to my relief. Perhaps no one looked, but I prefer to believe that the team at Motorserve are honest and wonderful people. Thank you for doing the right thing and living up to your company values.

I had a terrible experience. I waited all day for them to call me to say my car was ready, following a service. I never received a call to say it was ready to pick up. At 4:30pm I rang them and they said I had to hurry up and pick up the car as they were closing in 1/2hr. I had to run down to the service centre and when I got there and complained no one really cared. Something is definitely wrong with their communication process. I will think twice before using them again.

My wife's car needed repairs to the rear bumper, tailight and surrounds. We made the insurance claim and were referred to Motorserve at Brookvale. The whole experience was excellent. from the assessor, the office ladies and the repairs themselves. The rental car was ready on time and the repairs were done when they told me they would be. All round they did a great job.

  • Leonard Patchett

Really not sure what the point of this place is. They seem to act as a middle man between insurer, repairer and vehicle owner - without adding anything to the transaction. Long delays waiting for information to be passed thru (it isn't, until you ring them to follow up, normally because the other party has already rung to to tell you there is information).

Charged $500 in labour for a job that shouldn’t take more than an hour, oil was significantly over full, invoice states ‘checked and topped up fluid levels’ but coolant was still low straight after. I know that it doesn’t take 4 hours of labour to do an engine and transmission oil change and replace 4 spark plugs, absolutely taking advantage.

  • Gina Vuletich

Absolute joke of a company. Don’t bother. My vehicle has gone back 3 times now due to them ‘not knowing what is wrong with the brakes and/or advising me they’re fixed’. Even after paying. They’re now trying to charge again, advising it’s something else. They don’t know what they’re doing. Completely incompetent and time wasting!

Greylings Attorneys really appreciated how convenient was the Motorserve Brookvale experience, with one stop pick up of replacement vehicle from Sixt on site while the NRMA approved panel beater had our own car back to us in double quick time. I guess that's why we insure with NRMA. Highly recommended.

  • L S

I had my car reversed into and NRMA put me through to motorserve for repairs and it has been a very pleasant experience. My car was serviced very quickly (about 1 week), the communication was amazing throughout and my car came back looking better than ever!

  • John Cameron

I have been taking my car to them for 2 years. I find them to be thorough in finding faults but they are a bit pricey. This service there was some larger problems with the car and I thought their quote was rather steep so I bought the parts

  • Ryan Gilbert

Incredible service and a fantastic team. Handled my insurance claim in an impeccable manner and the repairs were carried out to a very high level of detail and care. While timing is always uncertain and dependent on availability of parts,

Super friendly and helpful staff. Excellent service - they even fixed an electrical fault and installed a new fuse without charging me! I only went for a pink slip but now will use them for my ongoing car services. Highly recommended.

I needed my radiator and thermostat replaced unexpectedly, so I assumed I would be without my car for at least one week. I was shocked when the repair for my vehicle was quoted and completed in less than 24 hours! I was thrilled! In

I recently had my Mazda repaired with Motorserve through NRMA. My first contact was with Olivia who was very helpful. Jack assessed the car and explained in detail what would be done. The car was repaired in less time than quoted. I

Had air con fitted. Went to have it checked for leaks etc before heading to Victoria. Was told it was fine. Mechanics didn't check it. A/c not working. They won’t get it fixed here. Say i need to drive back to NSW…

I have to tell, that I am very particular when it comes to car service and I was terrified when I had a dent in the rear door to repair. But the work was done properly, the door aligns with the frame, the paint

Booked in a simple vehicle inspection (for a pink slip). Website says it takes 30-60mins. I arrived at my scheduled time, but was told I would have to leave the car there for half a day! Ridiculous.

  • Gordon McGovern

Been getting my car serviced here since warranty ceased 4 years ago every 5000km. Always professional done and good pricing. Never had a problem that had to go back. …

  • John Emirzian

Reliable, honest and cost effective car servicing. They were very flexible in fitting me in at short notice. Ask for Jack. The complementary chai lattes are amazing!

  • Mark Whitton

The repairs done to my car was done professionally. However, the general condition of the vehicle when handed back was a lot worse than when delivered.

  • Tom Fiorenza

I chose to use Motorserve Brookvale because it had reasonably good reviews online and I trusted them because they were affiliated with the NRMA.

  • Jackie Donald

Managed the repair of my car seamlessly, including having a hire car ready for me to use. Friendly, efficient and a quality job.
