This park is right beside a school and there is extensive renovation of the field creating 4 baseball diamonds in the corners of a very large square shaped field. The steel nets for the backstops are HUGE! There are two playgrounds close to the school and fun for all ages of kids. There is ample room to run around or for a picnic. The location is also close to 41st avenue and granville so there are some amenities in walking distance. Great park and worth a visit if you are around.

This park is an obscure oasis in the neighbourhood, and was a favourite spot to walk to in my childhood. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a playground, or a game of basketball, baseball, soccer, or anything else that can be played on the extensive resources this park has to offer. It is especially valuable when the adjacent school is not in session, in the summer.

The park is under construction, it is a good park for baseball games.I don't think they have washrooms there I think the entire building was taken down .It does have a nice play ground their for the younger kids, there is a elementary school connected to the park.

No swings, only 2 tire swings. Playground is better suited for older kids, not toddlers. No wheels, my son loves these. And I personally prefer sand to wood chips, but seems like wood chips are everywhere now. Huge fields and lots of big trees.

Toilets were wide open! No doors. Tough to poop with people coming in and out. Parking is very limited, so be care-full or come early to your event. Kids toys like big toys. Nothing fancy. Other than that, normal neighbourhood park.

Slides, tire swings, very large fields, and baseball diamonds. Underrated park. Generally not that busy. Lots of parking. The play areas are distinct , so kids are able to keep their distance (as best as possible).

Not a bad little spot in the middle of the city. Some fun ball to be played there on Saturdays in late spring/early summer. Show up at 10am on Saturdays and generally there is a team who needs a player.

The park has very large areas, base ball, football and soccer fields. Very nice and current playground for kids. Even walking around the boundaries of the park gives you your daily exercise routine.

Montgomery Park is a great venue for baseball with 3 diamonds that can all be used at once. There's also a little playground for the kids while the moms alor dads are playing ball …

Ball fields were just redone and are very good. Will be nicer once they get seats in the dugouts. The 1960's washroom building needs updating, as it's original since it was built.

A good park for playing softball, the field needs some work, unfortunately there are no change rooms and the washrooms are atrocious

  • Richard Gee

Fabulous playing field, nice to have well built and well kept playing fields at our City's park. Nice to have clean restrooms too.

Great park for kids. Swings, and a play area with monkey bars and slides. Large open area for playing soccer, baseball or Frisbee.

  • Brian Zuzartee

  • Owen Thomas

Very nice baseball fields. Dugouts are missing benches. Even with no benches 5 stars.

  • Sam Kellett

The baseball field is much improved but they haven’t put the benches in yet.

  • Herman Lam

Great setup for softball fields. Could use some benches though

  • Nick LaGarde

Great playground and big open field with 3 baseball diamonds.

  • Thomas Peake
