Phillipe Chan (the owner) and his son are phenomenal at what they do. There service is beyond exquisite. They are so helpful and have amazing ideas. I have been a customer of theirs for more than 12 years now. The owners pride themselves by being extremely detail orientated. Their prices are very reasonable. Philippe helped me hung the new order that I gave him and the ideas that he came with to add a flare to the house was absolutely amazing. I love his creativity. All I can say is AMAZING! I received my painting on December 23rd and I called Modern Painting & Framing right away to see if they could stretch it in time for Christmas... Several years ago, an artist friend referred me to Modern Painting and Framing and I have been using their services for all my art work since then. I have had a wonderful experience with this store. I took in my commissioned painting, and I was given great service by the owner. They were very knowledgeable about the different glasses available, how each would impact the colour over time, and how much UV damage my painting would incur. They have been very helpful, and I've never had better service for framing paintings! Thank you!

A year ago in Toronto we bought a very expensive WWII map and we had it framed. We moved here a month ago, we noticed the map was sagging in it's frame and the glass came loose. We took it to Modern Painting, they fixed the glass and rescued the map and put a better backing. The cost was extremely low and the workmanship was incredible, we highly recommend them.

Had a great experience here. They had tons of selection for mattes, custom frames, and off-the-shelf frames. Pricing was very reasonable. My custom order was ready in under a week, and for my painting that fit a standard size frame, he installed it on the spot and I walked right out with it. I'll definitely be bringing more work here!

The store owner/clerks were very helpful! This is my second time using them. They sprayed my painting with a sealant, and provided boxes and assistance with packaging it all up for shipping! Saved me money and hassle and did a great job with the framing! My paintings arrived at their destination in tact!
