I cannot adequately thank Adam and the staff of Memories Funeral Home. Adam was absolutely accommodating, had excellent communication, and put us at ease without skipping a single beat. It is stressful and difficult planning a funeral for a loved one. My family and I were even more stressed because we were dealing with another funeral home that overbooked and we were left without funeral services for the day we needed. Adam swooped in and saved the day! He earned our trust and was so professional and kind - it’s not very common to meet such outstanding people like that to be honest. Glad to have worked with Adam and his team and Memories. Everything went incredibly smoothly and it was just the celebration of life we wanted my Dad to have. I noticed everything from the small things to the big things. Everything about Memories was pristine. The staff that attended the funeral were polished and looked sharp! The turnaround on the guest book, the cards, catering and everything was incredible! We planned this all in a few days and Memories took care of everything! The hurst was perfectly clean. The casket trolly wheels were sparkling, if the pen fell down into the guest book Adam would put it back in the pen groove. The casket was gorgeous and not a spec of dust or dirt. I felt that Memories honoured my Dad and I felt so comforted that they were there for us during such a difficult time. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM! From the bottom of my heart, Adam and team. The funeral director went above and beyond in many ways including working with the funeral home in San Diego in a timely fashion, communicating with all of us very compassionately, choosing the perfect officiant and personalizing the service by arranging for Neil’s prize possession, his pontoon boat, to be parked at the funeral home. It sparked many conversations with our guests and happy memories for the family. Thank you also to the ladies who served lunch to so many people. Given the circumstances we had a very positive experience overall and felt well supported through such a difficult time.

My experience with Memories Funeral Home during an extremely difficult time in my life was everything I could have hoped for. The sympathy expressed by those with whom I worked to set up the Memorial for my husband was sincere but didn’t veer into effusive or over the top. The process was streamlined to fit in with our wishes, what we wanted to achieve for the Celebration of Life, and on the day everything went smoothly. The staff were very supportive, and made things as easy for us as possible.

As we continue to mourn the loss of our brother. We're forever grateful for the services given by Memories Funeral Home. The helpful staff, the clean facilities and gentle approach to accommodate us despite the pandemic. A lot of fears and uncertainties were wiped away when engaging with staff. Their industry knowledge and ability to answer questions made our planning easier than expected. The outstanding services provided were noticed and our family is happy for having worked with Memories.

Dusko was amazing to plan my Mom’s final wishes with. He was so caring, compassionate and made my mom feel comfortable and cared about in an emotional time for the family. I highly recommend Dusko as he really meets the needs of the family without placing any pressure on them. He truly respected my mom’s wishes. Patricia was also great in responding to everything after my mom passed. Her response time was exceptional and made the process very clear.

We recently used the services at Memories for my daughter. The staff especially Kelly went above and beyond to make the service and whole experience exceptional. There were so many decisions to be made, and Kelly walked us through the process, from choosing flowers to the reception. The thoughtfulness of all the staff made a difficult time easier. I would highly recommend Memories Funeral Home when you need them. You will not be disappointed.

I found this to be very poor service and work, the embalming was so pronounced he was twice the normal size and looked terrible, he had also thrown up when he died and they didn’t even wash his face or mouth, at the funeral you could see particles in his mouth, the funeral was totally paid for from social services and the funeral home still kept all the insurance from CPP death benefit, what a way to treat a grieving mother and family

I am very disappointed with this funeral home. This would not be the first funeral home I would use based on my experience with them. I found the staff cold, abrupt and short tempered. They use intimidation tactics and have less than professional actions. I would use a different funeral home based on my experience. Wish I could have found something good to say but there was nothing I could think of after reflecting on my experience.

I would highly recommend Adam and his team to anyone in need of funeral/cremation services. The compassion that they showed to me and my family surprised us because we figured they see this stuff all the time. That meant a lot to me. They also accommodated some very special requests. Great place, great people.
