Tuve un experiencial un poco molesta. Primero, tienes que pagar 20 dólares en cash ¿por Que será? Todos los bares tienen la opción de poder pagar con card machine pero Melao no time esa opción… presuntamente evasión de impuestos, según el personal de bar… estaba con mis amigos y estábamos muy felices porque cabe recalcar que la música es muy buena, bailamos y estábamos gastando mucho dinero en alcohol, por lo que en un momento de la noche decidimos ir por shots. Pedimos nuestra primera ronda shots y como estábamos tan alegres decidimos tener una segunda ronda de shots, el cual el bartender con un background indio me hace señas con las manos que no se puede, sin darme explicación alguna procedo a preguntar el por qué ?? En el bar la música en extremadamente alta y tienes que gritar para tener una conversación, entonces tuve que alzar mi voz un poco para que el bartender me escuchara lo que estaba diciendo, en ese momento llega otro bartender con background asiático y me pregunta que por qué le estoy gritando a su compañero a lo que contesto con mucho respeto, que no estoy gritando, solo quería saber el porqué no podíamos tener una segunda ronda de shots, sin explicación decidimos seguir bailando y en pocos minutos llega el de seguridad a decirme que yo tenia que salir porque había irrespetado al personal del bar. Lo cual fue una mentira, anyway no fue la mejor experiencia y una amarga velada, solo disfrutamos de dos horas dentro del establecimiento. No lo recomiendo. Posdata (al ver que ellos no tenían la razón, decidieron no dar nombres de los bartenders o el supervisor a Cargo) un sábado un poco amargo para ser sincero, juzguen por ustedes mismos.)

I don’t know from where to start. I invited a couple of friends and I felt really embarrassed. -Dj playing old tunes, like “el Gato volador” and many other old and unrecognised tunes, I guess this is a really niche party for an specific country, as I’m latin myself and I couldn’t recognise the most of the songs. Dj is just outdated. -Drinks are too pricey for this place ($12 for a vodka soda). Kandy or maloneys are way cheaper. -The crowd was 80% men on Friday. -There was girls smoking cigarettes on the dance floor, drunk guys looking for fight, no respect at all, ask to your security people. -There was guys peeing on the toilet’s basin, unbelievable. -Cash only entry fee Unfortunately can’t recommend this place.

They are the worse, they charge you $20 for entering, apart from that the place is small and the alcohol doesn't taste good, the DJ omg, I don't know if he think he is the best DJ in his little world but bruh the DJ is soooo bad like soo bad, the music is terrible.. I guess this people care about the money and not what their costumer want or like. It's just disappointing . My point is for paying $20 is to have a good experience and worth to give it but nah.....

Very lively bar, expect to have to scream out loud to have a conversation. Drinks were okay, standard prices, the lemon lime and bitters was really heavy handed with the bitters. Music selection was mixed, some really good hits and some I wasn’t used to. My biggest gripe would be to limit the amount of people to enter as there was no space to dance or move.

I always enjoy going to Melao, every time I’m there it’s always vibing, with good music. And entertainment. The DJS and staff are friendly and hospitable. Always making sure their guests are having a good time. For anyone who is after a good time and good Latin music, Melao offers a variety of music to cater for different crowds.

One of the best latin places for any age group to enjoy. A great variety of music from classics to new releases. Reasonably priced drinks and very tasty tacos. Staff are very willing to accommodate everyone to make sure that they are comfortable and having a good time. Would definitely go there again.

Colombian nightclub for who like it, lot of salsa music, excited people dancing and having fun. Really crowded (it could be good or bad), if you’re looking for crowded places you might enjoy it. I just didn’t like that we need to pay in cash to get in the club, seems illegal…

Every time I go to this place I really feel like if I was back home in Colombia . Music mix it’s perfect and will really make you experience the real night Latin vibes ! For Latin party this it’s my favourite spot in Sydney!! Salud !

Securities guys without reason getting out some people. I was just standing out there in the line waiting to get in and I saw the way they were acting. So rude and disrespectful.

Organised a bday here on the weekend, the employees were very helpful attending to our requests and turned out to be a great night! Recommend comfy shoes because you’ll be dancing all night!

Confusing advertising, anybody would think it's 2 drinks per $25, but it's just same drink double shot, we ended up paying 100$ per 4 drinks, they definitely should fix that.

I can not understand the music and there's no chairs near the bar which can be so boring and I wasted 15 dollars!
