It's hard to write a review of this place. My daughter and I both liked some of the teachers here and we especially admire Bev Charles, the office administrator. However, since moving to a new public school my daughters reading to and writing skills have gone from significantly behind to into the next grade due mostly a great reading program provided to every student that lets the parents know what levels to progress from and to, so I do worry that there aren't as many learning opportunities as there should be. Additionally, I am unsure if there is adequate support offered for individuals being assessed for special needs or to assessed special needs students. For parents looking for some suggestions, even ones at a cost to the parents, there is little guidance, and a strong pressure on the parents to just fix the mental health issues their children suffer from. I suppose if they asked, and they won't, what would improve the situation I would suggest staffwide awareness of the recognition and best practices for those with special needs as well as a stronger learn-to-read program that begins in kindergarten. In particular the pm+ reading level program offered by various schools in the UCDSB has been extremely effective for us.

Small horrible school that has no air conditioning. they’re always running out of supplies. my time here was traumatizing. The teachers were mean middle aged women who’d take pleasure in making kids miserable by gaining up on them, humiliating/screaming at them, and sometimes even forcefully push/grab kids. They do nothing about bullies and get more mad at kids for defending themselves than the actual bullies. Some teachers were racist. The kids were unfriendly and exclusive. Don’t bring your child here they will cry.

The perfect school for my kids . Love the teachers and staff members who help me every time.i need and ask question. Thank you for the principal who always keep.in touch through emails. Stay blessed keep the light of education always brite.

Ay I mean mr awery was a W but this kid bright was mad annoying and mr awery annoyed me like crazy bc of him but this school was a W bc of Ms penned but mr Jamal makes it a 4 star

Very good school. My daughter is happy then back from school. A lot creative materials, nice staff.
