After riding the bus for almost a year, making the decision to finance a car on my own was extremely difficult, especially with my credit situation from my University days. After countless attempts at several other dealerships, it never felt quite right and I didn't move forward. I decided to go back to Mac James, which I initially reached out in the beginning to but hesitated. Graham from Mac James south side went ABOVE and BEYOND. Let me just give you an example of their customer service. After not moving forward the first time i called, they did not harass me, they did not e-mail me, and he maybe called me once. I actually appreciated that. And if you're familiar with salesmen, then I'm sure you will understand why. Almost 8 months later, I applied again, and Graham reached out to me for the second time. He helped me with all my documents via e-mail. He connected me with 2 different insurance agents. He helped me to get approved, and never once pushed me into a deal. When I test drove the vehicle, they gave me the keys and said "See ya in 20 minutes". Every other dealership I had been to, the salesmen came with me which is distracting when you're trying to concentrate on making your own opinions and check things out. There was no gimmick, there was no uncomfortable pushiness or trying to be overly convincing with their jargon (you know what i mean). The day I planned on picking the car up, Graham physically came and picked me up at my apartment so I wouldn't have to take the bus. In my anxious panic of everything, I lost my credit card in the process of getting my deposit. Graham took me to the bank, waited outside for me, and then drove me to the Registries office to get my papers. If you want to talk about service, that is SERVICE! They're great. Genuinely just nice people, and really recommend reaching out to them if you're in the same situation I was in.

This is my first time purchasing from them. It was a great experience. I wasn't pressured in any way (which is a first), and ended up getting the car that I wanted. Graham was my salesman, and he was extremely courteous and helpful. I have purchased alot of cars in my day, and this was probably the best experience I've had. If you have a less than favorable credit history, I highly recommend you speak to them. They are much better to deal with than some of the other high risk lenders out there. They were also very fast with my approval. I could have had the car the same day if I wished. I can't speak to their service down the road, but from all of the policies we've reviewed together, and the warranty they offered, I rate my experience a solid 5/5

Just a back story I had a vehicle with Scotia Dealer Advantage. With an injury at work and a temporary decrease in pay, scotia continued to randomly take money out of my account, left me in a negative situation, threatening calls and threatening letters all the while I was trying to get back in good standings. To no luck, even while making payments when I could, they seized my vehicle holding it for ransom basically. Thru this I reached out to Mac James Motors and in the same day I was approved for a vehicle on a smaller term, lower payments & a better vehicle than what I had seized just days ago. No pressure on the lot, test drove some vehicles, made a decision, now a waiting game to pick it up.

I purchased a car from Mac James Motors on December 16th. Right from working through the door to the time I drove off, I was met by friendly, informative personnel who made my time here memorable. Not once did I feel pressured, staff were straight forward and helpful while creating an environment where I could make informative decisions that I still feel good about to this day. A particular hats off to Jason, Graham and Seth for making my first time buying a car, such a wonderful experience. Definitely would and will recommend Mac James to anyone in need of a car. Fantastic experience.

I am posting on behalf of my mom, Tracy -- I bought a used car from Mac James about four weeks ago (Jason Fry was my salesman). Recently, the car started to leak transmission fluid. I called Jason and immediately they got it into a shop to be fixed. He was extremely apologetic. They also covered the repair cost under warranty and provided me with a loner so I could still drive to work while it was being fixed. I am very happy with the excellent level of service provided, and I am happy they took such great care of me during and after the sale.

does not want to work with me or my wife, together we make over 8k a month but because MY wife doesn't have a learners "there is nothing Mac Jams Motor's Can do" their words not mine. stay away from this place if your First Nation like us. they seem racist and didn't treat us like the other customers i felt, oh well... they'll probably brush this problem off by playing ignorance .....or pretending more was said to further our understanding of the situation! but in all honesty, this is exactly what happen.

Our 2012 Chevrolet cruise has been fixed by mac James motors, where we bought it from, and has been in the shop 3 times in the last 2 weeks. Engine light is back on yet again. We were driving down the road and car came to a dead stop while going 60km/hour. Good thing we weren't on the highway. This is not safe for us and our child to drive in. I would not recommend buying your car from or letting mac James motors decide where your vehicle gets fixed

I was hesitant to contact Mac James. But im happy i did. They had a specific vehicle i wanted. I thought ill just do it. Jason literally called me the next day and within the same day he gave me an approval. Told me my max payments a month. My interest rate. And my term in no time. Jason was a pleasure to deal with. And if you dont find the exact vehicle you want. Your approval is good for a month so relax and take your time. Thanks for your helps

Won’t fix the truck that’s having severe issues wrong with it, won’t trade us a new truck . The truck we have now is super unsafe to drive due to it liking to shut off while driving it and go crazy. Horrible service and horrible business and they need to do something better about this. I should have to replace the whole front end the dif the transmission and the fuel pump in less then a month

After the wife got into a accident and wrote off her car we discovered that our credit rating wasn't as good as we thought....put us in a bit of a spot. No one likes to be treated like that by the bank! Mac James looked after us very professionally without the feeling of being judged. Thank Neil for your help!

Nothing but problems, car broke down, took weeks to fix, came back with new mechanical problems! Now we are stuck renting and paying for a broken down car from here in my yard. Looking to trade in my lemon somewhere else! Dont go here!

Awesome experince no pressure sales. I really liked the test drive, didn't have the salesman pressuring me while driving. Any questions I asked were answered. I would recommend them.
