Nice little laundromat stumbled upon when I didn’t feel like waiting to do washing in my nearby hostel. I did a small 4kg load in their wash/dry machine for ¥900 which took 40 minutes. Everything came out clean and fresh and all but the thickest areas of fabric (cuffs of my plaid shirt for example) were perfectly dry. I could have thrown them in a dryer for 10 minutes/¥100 but I’ll just hang them up and it’ll be fine. Self serve and simple for an English speaker. The owner came by at one point to check everybody was ok but mostly it’s a sweet and simple little place. It’s open 24/7/365, I went around 8 pm and had very little company and didn’t have to compete for machines.

Excellent little coin laundry!! Good price and the machines self feed detergent as well as dry so just bring some coins. The owner came in and showed me how to operate everything. He didn’t mind speaking English to me, as my Japanese doesn’t go much past arigato and konichiwa. Make sure to take your shoes off, this is an excellent service and a little respect goes a very long way.

4키로에 900엔 가격입니다. 굳이 더 많이 안 줘도 4키로면 삼일치 빨래 충분합니다. 세제랑 섬유유연제 자동으로 나와서 돈만 넣고 돌리면 됨. 현지인들도 많이 쓰는 듯. 테이블과 의자가 있어서 시간 떼우기도 좋음. 피곤해서 엎드려서 잤더니 지나다니는 이웃주민들이 안쓰럽게 봤음. 운동화도 빨 수 있음. 건조만 하는 것도 가능. 영어로 다 설명되어 있는데 버튼은 한자로 되어있음. 가장 간단한 거는 wash and dry 되는 곳에 빨래 넣고 4키로 누르고 돈 넣으면 끝. 40분 걸리니 중간에 일 보거나 밥 먹고 와도 됨. 빨래 누가 안 훔쳐감.

Came here on the first night of our Kyoto stay. Our hotel laundry situation was not great. This was great. Very clear instructions , cozy vibe, very happy with the experience and most of all clean clothes, 0 stress to continue sightseeing. Highly reccomend to all travelers nearby

They have washer and dryer in one machine, it took an hour to finish 10kg loaded clothes, 1100Yen. You can prewash the machine before you load the clothes in it so it was good. You have to take off shoes before enter the store.

Good little laundromat, owner is helpful and keep it clean. Takes proud in in his little business. No shoes inside and no drinks allowed. There is a coin exchanger inside that takes 1000/2000 notes as well as 500¥ coins.

Open 24/7 and everything is easy to follow. English instructions were on the table if required but it's pretty easy to use. Plus the uniqueness of taking shoes off just inside.
