Who would think that a campground in Sydney would have walking trails like this. We did a 12k hike starting in the campground. Several kitchen areas, one even has an oven. Amenities block is clean with several showers. Site 108 is quiet and close to the amenities. Planes overhead in the afternoon, but all is quiet by bedtime.

Wonderful place so close to the city! Watch out for ticks! There's plenty. Nice river to kayak on. Makes you forget that the city is just a few steps away. Great for walking hiking and more. I have been coming here for over 7 years. Highly recommended close enough to chatswood and everything is perfect.

Beautiful place for running, walking, cycling, paddle boat and picnic, got different types of barbeques... beautiful species around such around like Dragons, Cocobara and Turkey... easy to spot nest and bird chicken on trees...however it could be quite crowded by the weekend... ideal for families

Beautiful place to walk, run and cycle. The walks are easy with beautiful nature sounds. I love going after the rain, it smells really nice and fresh. There's also a little cafe to get some food and drinks. There are toilet and bbq facilities available as well.

Did boating with the family during long weekend. Such a great place with not a lot to drive in terms of distance. Experience was very calmful and relaxing. Prices were moderate. They had ample boats and staff were great. Would love to keep coming again.

I really recommend this park for people who like birds. We saw close ups of kookaburra, bush turkey, cockatoo, rainbow lorikeet and noisy myna. The river looks good for kayaking. There was dozens of picnic spaces and some interesting walks.

Lane cove national park is conveniently accessible and near suburbs such as Macquarie Park, Lane Cove, and Chatswood. It has several picnic areas along the Lane Cove river, at short drives/walks within the park, BBQ facilities, picnic

Good walking spot, close to suburbia but all you hear are birds of many varieties. The bathrooms have been updated and are clean and actually smell fresh. The picnic areas are clean with space for many. I even saw an echidna wandering

So many beautiful places to visit along the river for picnics, birthday parties or simply to unwind. Lots of local residents so keep watch over your food!! This harmless tree snake certainly wasn't bothered by me being around though.

The officer at the front gate was very friendly and informative on what to do at the park. Picnic area near the boat shed was very convinient for gathering and kid freindly (nice walking path for kids and nearby toilets)

Nice to see it so green and lush with all the rain we've had this summer. The water dragons were out in force mid morning. A comfortable place to walk, plenty of hikers and a few runners about.

Great park. Much larger than I was expecting and really well maintained, there seem to be maintenance people around every corner, tidying up something or other. Will be back for sure.
