This is a very no frills restaurant serving home cooked Colombian (and Latin food). There are a few tables on the main floor and an upstairs seating area that has a fair amount of stairs to get to. Perhaps I visited at an off peak time (400pm), but there weren't more than 1 couple at the restaurant at any point The restaurant it tucked away in the corner of a plaza with plenty of parking. The food itself (as I mentioned seems/tastes) home cooked and is simple - perhaps more than I expected and hoped for; this was my first time trying Colombian food. I ordered the Bandeja Paisa (Colombian Platter) - Grilled Steak, Pork Belly, Sausage, Fried Egg, Rice, Beans, Sweet Plantain, Avocado & Corn Flat Bread. Everything was cooked well and simply seasoned. Our server barely spoke English and was able to take our order but didn't really check in with us at all. I felt prices were on the high side for the portions received, and I didn't see any desserts on the menu; most of the beverages seemed to be fruit juices and soda in bottles. What I can say with certainty is that this is a clean restaurant run by kind people that serve good home cooked meals. If you are used to this cuisine, I think you will love it. If you want to try this cuisine, this is a good place to start!

This place would be a 5 star if the service was up to par with their food. We usually like coming here but lately the service has been quite dissapointing. The waitress makes you feel uncomfortable from the minute you walk in. No smile just stares and straight face. I know the impression was mutual when a lady asked to use the washroom and rather telling her where it is she decided to point towards the direction like she was a mime. We asked for some empanadas to start and she mentioned they only had carne asada and bandeja paisas... fair enough we ordered what was available. Not once did she ask us if the food was well prepared,Nothing. literally walked by our table several times to be ignored. We truly didn't feel welcomed. We are finishing up and a couple next to us requested some empanadas and surprise surprise- she brought them right out? Leaving one to speculate that is it because we aren't colombian? I'm not sure where we rubbed them the wrong way but it safe to say we won't be returning.

We went there for the first time… The food was ok, it wasn’t as great…I don’t think we’d ever go back… they only accept cash and E-transfer… I found it really awkward for a business to accept ONLY cash AND E-transfer… it was also hard to communicate with the server cause the servers doesn’t speak English at all… not even basic English… my husband luckily knew minimum Spanish (thanks Duolingo). I hope they hire an employee to communicate in English so us non-Spanish speaking people can communicate better with them, even if it’s just basic, minimal English cause I couldn’t understand anything and the server couldn’t understand me, I didn’t know what I was ordering and couldn’t ask details about their food, cause the server didn’t understand a thing I said. I really wanted to support them but the language barrier was very difficult…

I always buy food from this place loved the food but the older woman I believe is racist towards black people everytime I’ve come in she never took my order and served others. Today I order patacon renello pollo and she gave me beef instead of what I ordered then I asked for chicken and they scraped off the beef and just added chicken instead of making a new one. I also found blue mold all over my cheese I came back in and they lady said rude things about me in Spanish and refused to speak to me the cook came out and said I was lying and that it was cilantro Every time I come to this restaurant I spend at least $50 I will never eat from these people again they are truly racist and have horrible customer service I guess they think Black people don’t know what cilantro looks like

Came in during the lunch hour with a party of two. Wasn’t busy at all and service was good but was spoken in Spanish as English wasn’t an option at the time. The price of the food is quite high for the portions received, that being said the food tastes like it was made at home (which is a positive) and fresh. I did enjoy the variety of meats that were given. The Carnita had a good flavour especially with the plantains. The fried pork belly unfortunately was not as good as I hoped it would be but had a good crunch. Overall, the price of the food for the amount you get is not worth it. However, some of the items make up with the freshness and taste.

Authentic Colombian / Latin American food! Empanadas, patacones, Sancocho, Ajiaco and Bandeja Paisa all tasty and generous portions! I personally ordered the Churrasco, their highest-priced item and was a disappointed at the quality of the steak; definitely not worth $34 - this was also reflected in the steak in the Bandeja, but other than this everything was as expected. The servers were friendly and patient with us as we were a large group and I was translating for them :-) We all took anywhere from 4 -10 extra empanadas home. Would likely return for their Sancocho :P

Love Colombian food, and the arepas with chicharrón, arepa de choclo and empanadas in this place are really good. Missed: no coffee or any other hot drink (the machine was broken), no cheese empanadas (they were on the menu), and the service was a little bit slow, considering that we did not order a full plate. Otherwise, I would go again and do recommend to visit

This restaurant closes at 7:30pm, last order at 7pm, it is pretty early for dinner time. The staff could only understand and speak simple English but they're nice. The pork belly is too dry and hard, no taste and couldn't bite the skin. But steak and bean soup are good.

Food is really good. Traditional latin home made taste. Service and ambient was okay, hence the four stars. Not particularly bad, but not good either. P.S.: if you’re Brazilian and looking for a PF (prato feito) stile dish, the pollo a la plancha (frango na chapa) with rice and beans will scratch the itch. Just bring your own farofa :)

I️ got food delivered from here yesterday for my husband's birthday. They wrote happy birthday on the container as requested and it made his day. The portions were very large, and food was seasoned well. He couldn't even finish it all in one sitting. The price for the Colombian platter was fair as well. 10/10 would recommend.

Food was amazing and service was excellent. The gentleman who took our order kept checking up to ensure everything was ok. For many of us, this was our first time trying Columbian food and we were extremely impressed by the authenticity and taste. You can certainly tell it is a well run family restaurant that will treat you like family. We look forward to coming back.

Carne asada was delicious! It is small and cozy. Need more visits to get a better feeling. They are busy and wait time is relatively long. Edit: Feb 24/2020 Had the Colombian platter. So good and tasty! If you're feeling for home cooking Latin American food, this is a great place! It does still take awhile for the food, but it's worth the wait. Beans are amazing.

The best steak I ever had in GTA ,it beats my favourite Outback Steakhouse from the US . Churrasco was the name of the steak I had was served with 3 sides . I ordered medium rare steak , was juicy and tasted nice with herb seasoning . Steak was served on a sizzling platter. Presentation taste n flavours were all outstanding ! Highly recommended !

Went with my parents on the weekend (we are Colombian btw). We have eaten at many Colombian restaurants and have to say the empanadas de carne were the best we've had so far. All the food we tried was delicious (bandeja paisa, sancocho, ajiaco) Very large portions too. I highly recommend it! Que delicia! …

Ordered for delivery over the weekend never had this type of cuisine before I too ordered the platter and popusa with eggplant. Got double on select items free as buy one get one free promo. Everything was appetizing didn't like the pork belly so much either then that generous portions and very yes decent prices!

Very nice Columbian restaurant. You need to know its there to find it. Its tucked away in the back of a plaza. Never had some of the dishes here. Mostly meat dishes and fish. Not very vegetarian friendly. Service is good. Food is tasty. Price is reasonable. You come out full for the day. Will be back.

Update March 2021: Hands down the best latín american food I'm the GTA in my opinion, love their empanadas full with meat, the patacones with meat is incredible and lastly the Bandeja Paisa is an all time favorite for me. Great service over the quarantine period. Definitely recommended

I am rating this place based on a one time take out food, but I had a good experience. I ordered one "Bandeja Paisa" and it was well prepared, crazy amount of food with variety of products included in one single plate, enough for two person. Amazing Latin American food.
